We had Vada Pav and paneer Frankie. pav is made in-house, which makes it extra special. They were both delicious. They have a seated patio area that is covered which is nice but there are a lot of bugs so be careful. The service was also nice and quick and efficient. It took 5-10 min for our food to come out. Good location with lots of other truck options as well. Definitely recommend if you're looking for fresh and authentic Marathi street food!

March 22, 2025 review: Amazing vada pav location in North Austin/cedar Park area. I had tried them couple of times and vada pav have been consistently good. Price is $5 per vada pav. They make homemade fresh bun, which turns to be very soft and taste amazing. Aloo vada is also not super oily and not spicy. We got our super hot, meaning it just just fried after placing the order. They also put some green and red chutney which are probably coriander and date chutney. These bring good moist texture. The green pepper on the side also moderate spicy. Overall heavenly treat. We went there on Fri 5:30pm and got our vada pav in 2 mins. Owner was asking us feedback while we're finishing vada pav. He also offered the chai (on the house), which I think very thoughtful and kind way of making connection with customer. I didn't try it so can't provide feedback on tea. Plenty of seating available and this area has 3 more Indian food trucks (ice cream, Marathi, south Indian). Highly recommend!!!

Aprateem! So glad to find a Maharashtrian food truck in Austin area! We tried a lot of things and everything was great. Misal was top notch. Vada paav was super delicious. The vada to paav ratio could have been better. The paav itself was so fresh and fluffy! Definitely visiting again!

Authentic! Nostalgic! The Vada pav was delicious. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu.

One of the coolest things was the menu setup. After being seated, we were given tablets where we could scroll through the huge menu with pictures and descriptions of all the dishes. There were so many options that we'll have to come back several times to try everything that caught our attention. The food was really good. We asked for "baby spice" for our spice level, and they did a great job accommodating us. Everything still had plenty of flavor and just the right amount of heat for us without being overbearing. The restaurant itself is pretty no-frills and could use a little touching up, but everything was clean and service was quick. I also really enjoyed the authentic music playing throughout dinner--it added a lot to the experience. Definitely a great unexpected find and a place we'll be coming back to.

I waited to eat because my little one never got his food. By the time they came back to our table to check on us, it turned out that they never put in his order! My poor kid was like I'm just not going to eat mom it's okay. My god! I felt so bad. I even asked him if he remembers me saying the entire order and we both confirmed I said it twice to our server! And he read the entire thing back. So I'm not sure if it was our server or the kitchen that got it wrong but gosh! By the time my boy got his food, I finally dug into mine to realize it wasn't even what I ordered (got chicken but ordered lamb and because it had already been an hour and my food was cooked down I didn't want to wait even longer for another attempt at fixing our order since we live 45 mins away!) Also, they didn't offer or show an itemized receipt nor upon paying in the end so you'll need to request one I assume. Oh AND they hover over you and stare at the screen while you're paying / tipping especially. So, although the food was good and typical serving size like other restaurants, the service overall was bad enough to be an absolute dealbreaker for us to never come back again.

We made the mistake of trusting…read morea few (probably paid) influencer videos on social media absolutely raving about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. There were barely any people on a Saturday night which made us feel a little apprehensive after stepping in. The restaurant was dimly lit and restrooms were dirty. We were a group of 4 people, two of whom are Maharashtrian and know what the food tastes like. Comments for individual dishes: Vada pav - Not served with Mumbai pav but slider buns which is as unauthentic as can be. Sabudana vada - Crispy, tasted good, served with sweet yogurt. Pithla bhari - The worst I have ever had. Pithla was too runny, bhakri was downright stale/unedible. Pomfret fry - Fish skin was burnt, but taste was better than some of the other dishes. Puran poli - It was super thin, barely any puran filling and seemed to have been served after quick heating rather than fresh, the edges were unedible. Saoji chicken curry - Too much garam masala Triple Schezwan fried rice - This was the best dish among all those we ordered. It was served with manchurian gravy. A humble request to the restaurant management - please serve edible, authentic Maharashtrian dishes or remove them from the menu rather than misleading people.

Nothing stood out to me as amazingly delicious like some other Indian cuisine around Austin. The surmai fry had a piece of plastic on the plate (no it was not a bone). Ran out of the jhunka bakri so I ordered a kothimbir wadi which they had forgot. They also forgot my mango lassi. The buffet was not served during the time I was there but it seemed like just a small selection in the corner of the restaurant. I'm happy that a place like this is in Austin, but the service was so lackluster and the food was mediocre so I couldn't imagine myself going back.

Please remember they make their dishes per order and this takes time. A good curry or biryani is not made in 15 minutes. We ordered several dishes. To start we had the samosas, pakoras, and my child had the children's chicken lollypop appetizer. For the main dishes we had the hydrabadi chicken biryani, aloo chole, and my child had the keema child's biryani. We also had the mint cilantro chutney and it reminds me of homemade chutney. All were very flavorful and very fresh. My aloo was served with a good portion of rice. All the portions were large. We ate here on Sunday and we still have leftover biryani and I'm finishing my aloo. One thing we noticed that was odd compared to where I usually visit was the server. They were kind of awkward at first and had the "melinneal stare." BUT consider that people can be neurodivergent! The service was great and prompt. It was a bit warm, but the server heard our comments and went and moved a big fan they had out to combat how warm it was. I highly recommend trying them out! To the chefs - please please please put the tomato dahl you have on your online ordering! I'd come here weekly to taste your version.
