Today I walked into Uniqlo to return a $30 skirt I bought from online using Paypal. First cashier I…read moreapproached told me (before he even looked at my receipt) that they changed the policy to store credit, not direct refunds, for people who were returning items they bought via Paypal. Returns cost $7 if I were to ship the item back to Uniqlo but he suggested that if I wanted to be refunded back on my card. I walked away a bit stunned.. I paced back and forth in the store before finally getting in line again. I wasn't about to argue the policy but decided against shipping back my item since it would take $7. The second cashier I approached was kind enough to inform me that the policy had changed within a few days of the last time I purchased the item, so she was willing to be flexible to refund me back on my card. She told me this AFTER she looked at my receipt. She told me from this day forward, I should know that Uniqlo changed their policy with regards to gift card, apple pay and Paypal. ^ and THAT is what I call quality customer service. Tl;dr: I've been buying a lot from Uniqlo. I even wore a skirt and jacket from Uniqlo as I was returning that purchase, but I wanted a refund instead of store credit. And the second cashier's interaction with me has left me with a lasting positive impression that I have of Uniqlo! Thank you. :)

(Mind you, this was about 5 minutes later) When I asked one of the employees about it, all she did was look at her watch with an attitude like it was closing time (it was 7:45, they close at 8) as if it was my fault the clothes were taken and then dismissed me. It was so rude and off putting that I didn't buy anything I was going to get and just left. I have a lot of friends that shop for going out outfits year-round and I will make sure they don't come to this store. And to add, some of their clothes had makeup and deodorant marks on them. GROSS. One guy yawned so loud it was disturbing ! The cashier try to sell me VIP rewards but didn't know the " great" features of the VIP membership. I have no idea what I did to offend her. I've been coming to this location for two years and have never experienced anything like this. It made me feel very unhappy and uncomfortable. She even falsely accused me of returning items "too often." I must strongly disagree with this. When the store doesn't have certain items, your own employees special-order them for me. Sometimes they accidentally order extras, and they tell me to return the additional items. Yet this manager claims that I "love to return things," which is completely untrue. On top of that, she even told me that I "stayed in the store too long." If I don't take my time trying on clothes and checking whether something fits, or learning about the functions of the products, how could I possibly feel confident spending so much money? LL Bean products are not cheap. Is this something a manager should be saying? This feels like discrimination and an abuse of authority. At this point, it honestly feels like a shame to spend money in this store -- especially when I spent so much today -- only to be treated this way. You really need to be careful with this new manager. Her attitude is terrible, and she treats people differently. I am an older customer, and most LL Bean shoppers are also older adults. No one wants to spend a lot of money just to be treated disrespectfully. I've visited many LL Bean stores and have never had such an unpleasant experience. All they tried to do was push their suits on me while being completely unhelpful when it came to measuring and answering questions about the suit I needed tailored. Regardless, I figured they'd be decent enough as they tend to sell higher end brands, and didn't want to trust my Zegna and Isaia suits to a cheaper tailor. Boy was I wrong. High prices do not mean good quality when it comes to services. I got $5 quality for a $260 price. Pictures of the grey suit are the surgeons cuffs done at Rowma are uploaded. They cost $120. I cannot how badly they came out. Pictures speak 1000 words, and I'll stop ranting and let you behold their handiwork. Judge for yourselves.
