    Messy racks

I don't know what happened to this specific store. After walking in today after a few years, I was disgusted and disappointed. Maybe they are short staffed or have a different management running this place. But wow! Does not feel like classy store, children screaming in the fitting room. It did not feel enjoyable not to mention the whole bottom floor is TRASHED. The children's and men's department was so clean and organized.

Update from previous review: Went back recently to check it out again and see if there were improvements, and luckily it seemed like there were! Much more staff to assist with a friendly and helpful disposition, better items on the floor with better quality and less flawed items, and if there were any flaws, they would be placed on a separate rack and marked down occasionally. Seemed like there was a much better selection of clothing during the F/W season as well!

Bad customer service. The cashier was just throwing all the things I've bought in the bag. He didn't bother folding them nor organize them.

When I returned to the store, Maria offered to take a screen shot of my selections and send them to my daughter using her phone.

I cannot get over some of the designer items I have found here at outrageous prices. I feel like I'm a winner every time I come here because I get beautiful pieces as such great prices. THE NOT SO GREAT: Selling. Their process must be working because their inventory is outstanding. But it's not great to sell here. They take little and the money they give you doesn't cover the gas cost to get there. A waste. Bring your stuff across the street to Uptown Cheapskate (who's shopping experience is...gritty, not in a good way) or up to Crossroads Culver City (the best of the best, in my opinion). Pants. How are the pants and denim organized? Un-discernable. Any method other than organizing by size is laughable. I don't even look at pants here ever because who has time to search for the size tags? Request to management: organize by size and watch how much quicker you move pants!

I went to 2nd Street to sell some clothes, and they do things a little differently. Usually when…read moreyou sell clothes, you get the option of cash or store credit. The only option here was cash. This was also the lowest I've ever been offered for clothes. Places like Plato's Closet, Buffalo Exchange, and Uptown Cheapskate give you way more for your items. They had a $1 pile, meaning items they were willing to pay me one dollar for. And then they had a 10‑cent pile, meaning they were willing to pay me ten cents for certain items. Yes, ten cents. For 10/12 pieces, they offered me around $6.30. It was laughable. Actually laughable. So if you're looking to sell your items for dirt cheap, this is the place. On a lighter note, they did have a lot of nice things for sale; secondhand, some new, some designer, really great quality pieces at good prices. I got a really nice pair of green cargo pants for $12. I recommend for shopping NOT selling.

I usually shop at the other, larger outlet store, but decided to come check this one out when it finally opened. They sell shoes, of course, but they also sell socks, hats and key chains darned with their logo, records, and portable record players. The store is predominantly rows and rows of men, women, and children's shoes. They display each different shoe design on top, with boxes of shoes below on the shelves. Unless the display is up against the wall, then there are boxes of shoes above the display as well. My favorite shoes is the Skechers brand. They have very comfortable soles, so I look forward to wearing them when I'm planning to walk more than ten thousand steps. And because this is the outlet store, shoes are usually buy one get one at 50% off. Staff are friendly. On the weekends, they have free small bags of popcorn. The only problem I had was that it's help yourself, so it's not being monitored. They have their own parking lot, so there's plenty of free parking. There are two exits, however, only one opens up to Crenshaw. The other exit opens up to a neighborhood side street.
