New upscale, high energy Zamindar's Club House brings a new level of sophistication and excellence to Charlotte's Indian cuisine. In the space formerly occupied by Link and Pin in Southend the food is excellent, the cocktails inventive and the service friendly and welcoming. We arrived without reservations on Sunday night and learned they're booked up for two weeks but were offered to dine at the bar. This ended up being a great experience with very attentive and friendly staff and comfortable stools. The presentation across the board was great. From the leather embossed menus to the flambé chicken skewers to the bubble turned poof of smoke on a cocktail, a lot of thought went into the experience here. We really enjoyed the food and will be back for more great experiences!

I have not been floored by a place in Charlotte like I was when coming to Zamindar's. Everything From, the service and kindness from the staff, including the owner coming by to personally introduce himself to every table, and the gorgeous interior. The food and the flavors completely back up the beauty with some of the best Indian food I have ever had with immaculate presentation. The lamb shank was so tender, the chicken tandoor was so flavorful, and we loved all of the sauces that came along with the dishes. The garlic naan also was perfect. Dreaming of coming back

Zamindar's Clubhouse is trending in a big way right now and for good reason. It's a beautiful, elegant dining space with richly thoughtful decor. The service was just as memorable as the food. Speaking of....here's the rundown of what we devoured: Gongura Gobi, Aslam Butter Chicken Wings, Sharabi Chicken Tikka flambé, Calicut Mango Lobster Curry, Shorshe Sea Bass Paturi, garlic cilantro naan, guman jamun creme brûlée. It was a thoroughly satisfying meal. Everything was SO flavorful and beautifully and creatively presented. It's located in the old Link & Pin space in SouthEnd. I'll be back very soon. Make early resys tho. It stays packed. Run, don't walk!

Very cool vibe! The food and drinks were amazing! We also met the owner who was super kind. I will definitely be back!

When you walk into Zamindar's, you're immediately greeted by the lively but soothing sounds of Indian music and lively conversation amidst restaurant-goers that transports you to a cool evening in Kolkata. The deep green walls wrap you in a forresty hug. The rich, deep brown woods and warm lighting make it feel homey. The hostess greeted us with a smile, congratulated us on our anniversary, and gave us a selection between table and chairs or a booth-half table. We made our selection and met our server. Steve was our server who accompanied us on a journey of Indian whimsy and culinary delight. He was so friendly and gave us great recommendations throughout our ordering process. We both agreed that we would come back just for Steve's hospitality. We got Chukander Cheese Kulcha and Bangla Kodi as starters. Slightly spicy and rich in flavor, they were a great start to the meal. The yogurt sauce was a perfect pairing for the chicken. I got a Calicut Mango Lobster Curry for my main and my date got the Old Delhi Butter Chicken. Accompanied with our meals, my date got the Raja Benares and was immediately hooked on the unique flavor it provided. He ordered 3 throughout dinner, even though Steve was insistent that if he didn't like it, it was okay to send back. I tried it and was immediately impressed by the depth of flavor and uniqueness. I tried 3 cocktails while dining as well, the Rajbari, the Decan Durbar, and the Nilgiri Club. The first and last were both 10/10 for me.

Wow! Every single item I ate was fabulous. I rarely enjoy every appetizer, drink and main entree, but each item was unique, flavorful, tender and left me craving more. I want to come back simply to try more items on the menu. I ordered the Bombay cocktail which came with an experience that made the drink both delicious and fun. The atmosphere was classy and upscale with personalized menus, plates and drink menu with the restaurant name. It felt like an upscale dining experience without the upscale pricing. The cost of each item was very reasonable especially for the quality. Service was spectacular. We arrived right at opening without a reservation and even though they were sold out, they made space for us. I greatly appreciated the hospitality. I will be coming back and telling all my friends to go! Shout out to our waiter Gabriel, he was superb.

They have a Christmas drink menu, mostly sweet, but they also offered to make some minor modifications. I had the Koala LaLaLa, which was more tart with some apple and bitters. Probably not everyone's jam, but I loved it. All the bartenders were great-Star kept us laughing, and they moved quickly considering how busy the place got. I recommend going early to get a good spot to people watch. I plan to come back at least one more time during the holidays. 10/10!

My friends only were in line for 5 mins but unfortunately I was the late one and waited in line for 30 mins. Luckily the line does move fairly quickly. If I'm being honest, aesthetically the drinks look good but not worth the price. My friends and I got the koala lalala and were bummed that after paying so much, it was mostly soda water and barely any alcohol for almost $19. Not worth it imo. I did however love the music selection. It was very nostalgic. Despite the technically difficulties they were having, my friends and I had a great time dancing the night away to our favorite middle and high school jams. My only suggestion would be next time for the dj to put his device on do not disturb. Every time a notification came through, the music would lower and was very noticeable. My friends and I laughed it off thinking we were just hearing things at first only for it to continue followed by the speakers completely going out. Overall it was nice to dance and be around holiday cheer but I don't think it would be worth a repeat experience.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere pulls you in--classy, cozy, and timeless. The decor strikes the perfect balance between vintage charm and modern luxury, making it an ideal place to unwind. Their cigar selection is impressive. Whether you're a seasoned aficionado or just exploring the world of cigars, there's something for everyone. The staff is super knowledgeable and always ready with a great recommendation. Drinks? On point. The cocktails are crafted with care and the bar menu complements the cigars beautifully. It's the kind of place where you can sip, smoke, and actually have a conversation. But what really sets this place apart is the waitstaff. Attentive, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they take pride in making every guest feel at home. If you're looking for a classy spot to enjoy a good cigar, a great drink, and even better company--this is it. I can't wait to come back

We were immediately turned away because we had on sweatpants. The attire rules are posted at the door in a very abrupt and abrasive way and we were quickly approached. The bar was near empty, we only wanted to continue our friend's bday celebration. There was a white server that walked right by us and entered the cigar room with the black server. She didn't say anything to us but the black server immediately came out and told us we needed to leave because of our attire. We were kempt and professional, yet casual. The servers had on uggs, leggings, half zip nylon pullovers, and had the audacity to approach us about attire. I will never, ever, spend my dollars, nor recommend this place to anyone...for ANYTHING.

We started with a few drinks and the dip trio (love the plantain chips!) But what set us off right was the mojito! Asia, our bartender, made an outstanding drink. As former bartenders we can be a bit critical and rarely have a mojito we really like. We got a second one just to see if it was a fluke lol, but she delivered again. Consistency is important. The excellent service continued with our server Tony. He made great suggestions and helped us make sure to guide us through the menu as we aren't familiar with Peruvian cuisine. I had the Plancha Chicken and it was fantastic. My bf had lettuce wraps and the tuna ceviche which he devoured. Great food, excellent service, and kudos to the manager Darnell who checked in with us. We will be back soon!
