We like the supreme zealot, the pepperoni, the OG, but not so much the pho shizzle (too saucy). We order pick up on the app or via inkind (which did not work last time and still not working). Service is good if you're just picking up. Not great if you have to order at the location as they don't list prices and all options. Parking is not very difficult to find since people come and go quickly. Note that during the winter there's no place to sit and eat there. Overall it's a nice pizza spot and has good promotions so we will be back. read more

I was extremely disappointed with my recent order. The pizza was severely overbaked, leaving the crust completely dried out and tough to eat. The texture was unpleasant and lacked the moisture and flavor you expect from a proper pizza. On top of that, the presentation was unacceptable--the pizza looked sloppy, with burnt edges and a generally unappetizing appearance. I just don't understand as a restaurant who's is sole job is to properly cook food & present it that you open of the box of pizza and say this looks fine and is acceptable. First time to order from Zalat's Kinda disappointing, I ordered a Pineapple Express for delivery. Took about 45 minutes, at 5:30p. Saw the driver as he placed at door. It was cold on arrival. I ended up microwaving it. It was good, not the best crust I've had. It came with a creamy tangy sauce on the side. Would probably not pay $28 again for cold pizza. We are so dissatisfied with the service. We called ahead of time for our order - one pizza w wings and drinks. Basic. They told it would be 15 minutes. By the time we got there it would have been 20 minutes. When my husband approached the counter - the guy was barely putting in our order. We waited an aditional 20 minutes and the next guy said "i don't see your order but i can put it in for you and it would only take 10 minutes" - he walked out. There was no line whatsoever. I had heard some good things about this chain, so I said, why not Door Dash some at 1:30 AM after a concert? This place does stay open late and is a great option for night owls or party people. The pizza arrived on time and the delivery driver was super friendly. It was just meh. The dough seemed a little undercooked and there was hardly any sauce on what was a modified (for toppings) cheese pizza. I had to double check the receipt to make sure I hadn't fat-fingered the selections on the app. Nope, no "light to no sauce" box checked. The pizza at least was amply topped and not thick or greasy at all. It wasn't bad pizza, but for the price and the product, this place was a one and done experience. read more

Honestly, this was inedible. The pizza arrived stone cold and the chicken was dry as a bone. There was hardly any buffalo sauce on it, so it was just dry dough and overcooked chicken. I usually don't write bad reviews, but this was a total waste of money. We ended up throwing half of it away. read more

Absolutely love Zalat's. I've never had a bad pizza no matter what I order, and the staff are amazing. I have a Muslim buddy who accidentally ordered a pizza with pork. They remade it for free and let us keep the other one. Would still be a five star review even if that never happened. read more

Wasn't expecting to get yelled at while picking up our food. I stopped coming here because the service was lacking, but Greenville pizza was busy tonight so I figured I'd give them another shot. HORRIBLE service. If you happen to see a lady ( can I call her that? She wasn't acting very ladylike) with glasses who isn't very tall, prepared for attitude. I'm staying in town for the week and I'm coming back for 2nds and 3rds. I'm no Dave Portnoy but they nailed the crust, not to crispy but just firm enough to not fold over. The mozzarella and sauce was great, and not too greasy either. The garlic parm wings were lukewarm when they got delivered but they were tasty reheated. I am not sure how Zalat markets its pizza. I've read Brooklyn/New York-style amongst others. The pizza is not good and covers up it bad taste with non- traditional toppings like BBQ sauce and balsamic vinegar. The crust is tough and flavorless with little substance. I'm think roofing shingle. After the pizza cools during the ride home form the store, the entire pizza becomes hard as if it was stored overnight in a refrigerator. While the other national pizza brands all have their problems, every one of them taste fresher and better than a Zalat pizza. Save your $22.00 read more

I used DoorDash to order their pizza. When the pizza arrived the box inspired me to order directly from Zalat next time I wanted pizza. I did just that. Not realizing they use DoorDash to deliver. My pizza was delayed 2 hours and upon arrival was cold and the box was full of grease. I reached out via text instructions and 5 days later I have not received a response. read more

We visited this location yesterday and was a bit surprised by the barricade set up at the entrance of the shop. Ordered the Supreme and had to check the box because it felt very light for an "18 pie. But that Pulp Fiction briefcase moment kicked in when I saw it. It looked good, smelled good and after returning home I can confirm it tasted good as well. I can definitely agree with other reviewers, that No sauce was harmed in the making of this pie. I guess the whole Dallas pricing still has some getting used to for me. The zalat website lets you say when you're picking up you're pizza. I chose 7PM tonight..then I get a text at 6:52 saying my pizza was ready. When I got there at 7pm my pizza was cold already. Nothing worse than cold pizza. read more

Y'all... This place is the definition of "don't judge a book by its cover". From the outside this little shopping strip looks a little sketch, but this is hands down the best pizza in Dallas. We did a Margherita pizza and added pepperoni. The crust is perfectly crisp. No need to get extra toppings, they got you covered. Ohhh and the sauce (maybe siracha ranch?) is HEAVENLY. My wonderful husband went back in to get another when we passed by on our way home. so learn from my mistake and don't forget to get extra when you're there :) read more

Moved to Dallas recently and I've been trying to find great pizza heard tons of good things about Zalat. After a long week, we wanted to treat ourselves to some pizza at home so we could relax by ordering delivery. When the pizza arrived it was barely warm- not certain if this was because of the delivery vendor. Nonetheless, if we try this place again, we're doing takeout, not delivery. We also ordered the cheese pretzel bites and regular bread bites. Because this is my first time, I'm a little why both bites looked exactly the same- could've been the description that misled me to think they should've been different- but the cheese was not even melted. It looked like someone had scooped processed cheese in a cup...it was solid. Since the pizzas didn't arrive hot, perhaps the cheese congealed, I don't know. We ordered the Elote (and chicken) which was pretty good (considering) and the Notato (without bacon, because we're Muslim). The Notato arrived loaded with bacon...and we couldn't eat it. Granted, it went to another someone else to feed them, but it was still disappointing. We have a difficult time going anywhere without having to worry about pork, so when we order something and it doesn't come with the necessary substitutes, we're stuck paying for food we can't eat. I don't know if I would try this place again, personally. But my experience was also very personal. They have lots of great varieties worth checking out. In the meantime, we'll be finding our perfect pie in the sky somewhere else. read more

So I ordered a pizza for pickup. I reside all the away down in Cedar Hill. I went on the app and ordered my pizza so that it would be ready by the time I drove 20 mins to get it. During my drive, I received an alert advising me my order is ready. A few mins later I pull up and walk up to the window expecting my order to be ready. When I told the gentleman my order he told me I had to wait another 15 mins. I showed him the text message showing my order is ready now. He then advised me they gave my pizza to the wrong person and they have to remake it. So I asked are you remaking my wings too cause they are gonna be cold and soggy since they are sitting for darn near 30 mins. He just smiled and laughed and was like yeah, I will remake them too. So much for planning ahead. read more

He checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive, anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, and made our date night feel truly special. We usually aren't the type to leave reviews, but this one felt absolutely well-deserved. While the entire staff was kind, Sean is absolutely an asset to Pizzana. His knowledge, energy, and impeccable service transformed our first visit into one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. He is the kind of server who makes you look forward to returning -- and we definitely will be back because of him. Highly recommend asking for Sean. He is definitely a rockstar.

They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. One of the owners told me he has been eating that pizza twice a week for almost 50 years!

I'm giving this a solid 4 stars instead of 5 simply because while everything was very good, nothing quite wowed me enough to push it into "must-have, can't-stop-thinking-about-it" territory. Pricey poisoning nightmare!…read more What was supposed to be a fancy celebratory night out ($725 with tip) at Drake's for my MIL's birthday ended with one of our family members in the ER and another 2 attached to the toilet (including my 72 MIL). This was roughly 6 hours after consuming seafood from this establishment. The frustrating part is we actually sent one of the 2 dishes back reporting to staff it had a strange odor/taste and was told we weren't familiar with lobster taste (being from NY this is untrue). My MIL was too embarrassed to send hers back so she ate her entire plate and my husband had about 1/4 of his before exchanging it for an alternate dish. As an emergency service provider I fully understand medical incidents like this can happen anywhere, but what prompted this review was way the situation was handled following my reporting. After reporting the incident to management we were met with what felt like an aggressive line of questioning about the members of our medical team and related details. I was told the incident would be escalated to upper management and the team would reach back out, but this never happened, even after a follow-up email. So, it's safe to say after spending a significant amount of money on what was supposed to be a special evening, the entire experience left a very bad taste in our mouths. At the very least, I would have expected some sort of gesture of goodwill or attempt to make the situation right -- even something as simple as a gift card or invitation to return for a better experience. Unfortunately, that never happened. Based on this experience, I would not choose to return and cannot recommend Drake's to others.
