Before I could even explain, both Mike and his wife screamed at me, waved hands in air as to strike me, and ordered me not to return. I went to get them and was told they were actually done. I paid and took my items home. Upon seeing their work, I was appalled. I could have done the same level of work at home on my own sewing machine. I reached out to the store and they won't reply or acknowledge me in any way. Margaret was able to replace the zipper in a time crunch (I got the garment to her on Thursday evening and it was ready by Saturday). When I came in to pick it up, she was even working on tacking down some of the stones and beads that were coming loose (something she didn't charge me for). PRO's: Very affordable, friendly, and competent alterations. They seem like they can handle any sort of repair and are professional and courteous. I had a million little requests for my wedding dress and they did them all. Can work on a rush if you need it. CON's: My dress took 3 weeks and one time, when I was supposed to come in for a fitting, she had forgotten about my dress and it wasn't ready. But she stayed late to fix the mistake and met with me at 8 pm so that we could get it done....so I guess this isn't really a con.

She's watched my family grow and has become somewhat of a friend and friendly face every time I see her. She's a wonderful and honest woman but is just so Uber talented (and humble about that fact). There have been times I needed something quick (when I was pregnant and needed a pair of pants fixed, or needed a bridesmaid dress fixed quickly also due to a growing pregnancy). She's always been there for me. I might add, she's reasonably priced, too. What could be better than that?
