Great place to listen to music. A true experience of the area. Close to locally owned shops. We didn't eat here but enjoyed a few drinks.

BUT it was definitely the biggest, most positive surprise when it came to expectations vs. actual quality! We landed in Palm Springs late in the evening and were starving on our way out to Joshua Tree. After a quick Yelp search for something open past 7-8pm, this spot popped up. We pulled into a super quiet parking lot and found this tiny little place. Looking at it from the outside, we honestly figured it would just be a quick, forgettable pitstop. Boy, were we wrong. For starters, the place was relatively full for a Tuesday evening! We ordered the duck confit nachos, the kimchi bulgogi sandwich, and the pony wings. Wow! Granted, our expectations were unfairly low walking in, but this turned out to be probably our second-best meal of the entire week--and we ate out every single day! It absolutely crushed it in terms of exceeding expectations. It also helped that we happened to be there on a Wednesday, so all the wines were half-priced! Unfortunately, since we weren't familiar with the area, we didn't know exactly how much further we had to drive to our accommodations, so we couldn't imbibe more in such a welcoming environment. (Missed opportunity, but safety first!) Oh, and definitely save room for dessert--their pie with ice cream of the day was delicious too! If you are passing through, do not sleep on this place. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

Proper smash burger with crispy edges and a juicy center. The patties had great flavor and didn't need anything extra. After being told by the hostess that we could order from the full cocktail menu on the patio, we sat down only to be immediately shut down by our waiter. When I pointed out that the hostess had literally just handed us the menus and confirmed we could use them, the waiter didn't bother to check; he simply gave a dismissive, "I'm sure," and brushed us off with zero interest in helping. It is rare to find a staff so poorly coordinated and a service style so openly hostile. We didn't even stay for water before walking out. Don't let the mid-century aesthetic fool you--the service is stuck in the dark ages, and there are far too many great spots in the high desert to waste your time being treated like garbage here.

The ribs were tender with a nice smoky flavor and came off the bone clean. The tri tip was just as solid, juicy and well seasoned with that classic barbecue taste. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, and the baked beans had a good balance of sweet and savory. The lemonade was cold and refreshing and worked well with the meal. The atmosphere is a big part of the experience. Rustic, lively, and full of character. It feels like a true desert spot with history behind it. The place can get busy, but the staff kept things moving and were friendly throughout. This place loves to its hype. Definitely more than just a meal. It's the kind of place you go for the full experience, and I'd come back again.

We had a fun time playing street fighter on their video game console and an even better time playing on their shuffle board. All in all, I would definitely come back for the vibe, and would love to check out a live event.

Given the value of this item, that response is not sufficient. A property at this level should have a clear, documented lost-and-found process with accountability, rather than relying on informal follow-up. We paid over $600 for a one-night stay. The level of urgency and communication so far does not reflect the seriousness of the situation. I am requesting that management conduct a formal review, including verification with housekeeping, review of lost-and-found records, and any applicable security procedures, and provide a direct, documented follow-up.

I was one of the first patrons there for the evening and was immediately greeted by one of the women bartending for the night. She saw my interest in the pool tables and laid out the pricing: $4/30min or $8/hr. I went ahead and paid for 2hrs of play and was handed a box of billiard balls with my choice of a table. I was introduced to the full bar, the well stocked fridge filled with beers, seltzers and wines and the specials for the weekend. As the night developed, more and more groups came in, ordered drinks and sat around the bar and tables with plenty of seating and tables available for everyone to hang out comfortably without being on top of one another. My only recommendation for this place when it does get busier, is that they have a designated ordering section at the bar where people can't sit so that those wanting to order or close their tabs can easily get to the bartender without having to awkwardly cut through people that are sitting there. Otherwise, this is a solid spot to hang out and have a couple casual drinks with a divey ambience and local feel.
