Fair meaning he didn't want to start time on our lane if we wanted to get food to eat while playing. It's a plus even having a snack bar. Then also offering to wait to start time was a nice little bonus. He also wanted to make sure all three people in our party could stick one throw before starting time. Other than axes, this place also lets you throw knives & ninja stars with instruction on how to throw those, too. Near the snack bar there was also an air hockey table, video games & crane games. This facility also has darts and laser tag available, but I did neither of the additional activities. If you're not wearing closed toe shoes, they have loaner crocs up for grabs...although I'm not sure who would wear open toe shoes to this place or why they would.

You have to sign a waiver before you even buy your ticket. About that.........the staff (kids) in the waiver area weren't the most helpful. They were just kind of "there". Younger group of folks, whatever. After you get your little zip tie attached, you then go outside to purchase tickets. We bought 2 tickets for my kids. $50 bucks each!! JESUS! And they tack on a credit card fee, so it was really $103. This provides you unlimited rides down the hill from 10am-4pm. Thing is though, that you realistically can't ride down that hill for more than an hour or two without getting bored. They should really offer an option where you can buy 2 hours for like $25.00 or something like that. My kids were ready to leave at about 11:30. They had more fun just playing in the snow when we pulled over at Munds park on the way back home. The lady at the entrance to the tubing (didn't get her name, had a broken wrist though), was super friendly and was about the only good thing about this experience. As a fan of dice, I spent most of my time here at The Geekery staring at the dice. My husband was mesmerized by the MTG and other trading cards they had. The employees were able to answer his questions, which he tends to have a lot when it comes to his collectibles. The store was well organized and the prices were pretty standard from what I see at game stores. We are both glad we stopped by The Geekery.

Rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. The only issue I had was with the shower which was either a turbo-force gale or a trickle rain shower. Something in between would have been preferred. But it was a large, spacious shower and a big bathroom. Rooms have keurig coffee makers and a decent-sized tv. (I've been in some hotels with dinky tvs that are hardly worth the effort). This is a newer hotel added to the casino and includes a beautiful pool and hot tub area and a small workout room. It's adjacent to the casino and its cafes and steakhouse and bowling alley! I would definitely return again and hope to do so in the near future. A great value for the price of the room. I recommend.
