7 people waited for 2 hours for a lane. I understand that there were leagues so we had food, and played pool. Once the leagues cleared out there were at least 20 lanes open and the guy at the counter said it might be another half hour or more. We spent at least $50 on food and pool waiting for a lane. I cannot express how much I LOVE this place. We recently just passed by antelope and can say we love plaza a little bit more. Staff was great and treated us like family. Sally made sure we had our drinks full at all times every time we've been there on a sunday! Caleb at the front desk was a huge help at getting us a lane as league was going on, we want to sign the kids up for JR bowling at some point, he was very good at explaining to us how that works and what we would need to be able to access that. We've been here for some of the cosmic bowling on the weekends as well and can say we were treated like family. They have a new bartender Taryn who had a smile or her face and got our order down to a T, Diana was also helpful when ordering and suggested a chicken quesadilla (which might I add was DELICIOUS!!). Roman at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful to us and made paying at the end a breeze. I was in town visiting friends and we enjoyed our time here bowling and hanging out. It has a retro look and feel to it, but if you enjoy bowling aesthetics shouldn't really matter anyways. There's 16 lanes, an arcade and bar area, and a couple pool tables as well. They also serve various snacks/foods. We enjoyed several rounds of bowling and I believe we payed $3.50 a game or so. Something to keep in mind (like all bowling establishments) is that they are bowling leagues going on so depending on the day and time, lanes would be closed for them. The owner/manager was nice and so was the rest of the staff. We had a couple drinks as well which were made promptly and made well. Parking is abundant! read more

An older facility but well cared for. They updated the lanes and have fun graphics to choose for scoring. Kids love putting their photo with their name too. Lanes work very well, seating area is clean and bowling balls and shoes are in good condition. Love the friendly staff and this location near downtown Prescott is very nice. Great for families. Fun. They have food, arcade games and pool tables. They just renovated with new scoring consoles much more modern and easy to use. Great staff. Full deli/snackbar with really good food. Id recommend checking this place out. read more

I use to love going to this establishment but after my last interaction today with the staff at the bar and pool area I may reconsider taking my business here again. The bar staff who was middle aged blonde and wearing glasses on July 21st between the hours of 4pm and 5pm was so UNBELIEVABLY rude to me and my family when we were just trying to relax, have a pitcher of beer and play pool. She was rude to me about getting quarters for the pool table, asking for another glass to which she gave my MOM bad attitude too and a dirty glass for my beer pitcher. I have worked in the customer service industry for nearly 10 years and I have never ran into an employee as rude and disgraceful as the lady I met today. I understand having a bad day here and there but to bring your problems to work and work them out on random people is completely uncalled for. I will not be recommending this place to any of my friends or family without first warning them about how unnecessarily rude the staff was. read more

Plaza bowl is the place to bowl In Yavapai County. I have been multiple times and every time it impresses me. Last night I went to the rock and roll bowl and the management and staff was fantastic. I would like to point out the front desk worker Collin was amazing. He was so into his work and was so helpful to everyone. His positivity effected everyone and made it a great experience. Other than that, the atmosphere was great. There are pool tables, arcade games, and storage lockers. Overall this was a great experience! read more

Old style ball returns make it MUCH easier to throw deep inside. Bowling is normally cheap, which is good. Downside, small. Hidden. And my ball basically swam to the pocket, there was so much oil down. But that may have just been that time. read more

Small alley, but staff is friendly, food was good, and best of all they have Fresh Squeezed IPA in a bottle! Not much to look at from the outside, but that doesn't matter. We had a really nice time. read more

Do NOT bring family and friends here! After playing a total of 5 games with family we decided to play some pool. The bar tender (younger guy with short dark hair) stated kitchen closed at 9:30. At 9:10 we asked for nachos and the bar tender got an attitude saying "Fine, whatever but after that my kitchen is closed" however he had just been friendly with someone else at the bar saying he could order anything but pizza and wings. When he brought the nachos out he said "here's your nachos and jalapeño" and under his breath said "a**hole". When the manager (longer, unkept grey hair) was told he defended the bartender and said "we'll play back the tapes" and "that's not like him". We spent over $100 in drinks, food, and games and still got this level of disrespect. This same bartender was rude to other customers while I was ordering. A woman asked for water and he snapped at her saying "well there is at least 5 ahead of you so you'll have to wait" and when a dad came up to order apple juice for his child he rolled his eyes and scoffed as he walked back. read more

Why not go bowling on a Thursday night? It's a good option for a small town anyways! I hadn't been to a bowling alley in over 5 years so I forgot how things are supposed to be exactly. It's a smaller alley and they left the light on (my previous experiences have been with out lights) and it can get that crowded very quickly with just 2 or 3 parties. The equipment was fine and the workers are very chill and easy going people - had no problems with anything. Accommodating also because our lane malfunction in the middle of a game. Nice to go with some friends when you have nothing else to do. read more

Made plans to meetup with my nephew,who lives in Prescott, and my best friend for 35+ years who happened to be driving down to my house in Black Canyon City from Colorado but decided to bowl a game or two withus since i had confirmed earlier in the week, with the manager , that we didnt need to reserve a lane and that we could bowl until Midnight. So my wife and i stopped and picked up our nephew from his work and got to the bowling alley at around 11PM. We found my friend and his girlfriend playing pool waiting for us only to say they already closed the lanes for the night and the employee that told them retold me but added that he didn't feel good and that was the main reason for closing shop early!! i said we drove a lot of miles to meet here and bowl at least one game and we have and hour to bowl according to themanager that i spoke to earlier in theweek!! Collin shut down mr sickly boy and said we could bowl til midnight like we were told we could!!!! I hope Colins boss knows how dedicated and customer oriented he is!! I say he's not getting paid what he's worth because taking a situation with 5 bowlers that were about to be turned away and getting them to stay and PAY is what keeps small biz opened.. the other guy will ruin your biz cuz he dont care about customers!! just about getting off work cuz his bunghole hurts!!! read more

Ok this place is usually awesome and super fun all week long. But my friends and aren't really into bowling so we go there to use the pool tables. But tonight I went there with my pals and the whole place had been rented out by some big party. Everyone in there was either bowling, or getting drunk at the bar. No one was even playing pool, the tables were empty, and the lady working there wouldn't let us play. The sign out front said the party ended around 9p.m and we showed up around 8:58p.m not kidding. And she still wouldn't let us play. We're lazy people, we don't like to go out much, so it's just irritating the one night we did we couldn't even play pool. read more

Being avid bowlers from the Valley whenever we go out of town we plan on going to bowling alley's we've never been to. This past week we were planning on going to Cliff Castle Casino's bowling alley but were extremely happy to discover there are two up in Prescott where we were staying. On Thursday afternoon we decided to check out Plaza Bowl. When we pulled up my first thought was oh, this going to be worse than Flagstaff (the approach and cleanliness of Flagstaff leave a lot to be desired -- especially if you like to actually SLIDE while bowling). However, I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in and the customer service was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and the prices weren't insanely high. They had a Thursday morning ladies league going and were very accommodating when I asked for two alternating lanes instead of one. I did say that if they needed one of our lanes I'd gladly give it up. The approach was a little sticky but it was nothing a little e-z slide couldn't fix. The pin action was great and as previously mentioned the service was great. If we ever move up to Prescott I'd definitely join a league or two at this house. It was a really nice, relaxing, not over priced break from the cooperate houses of the valley! read more

This is a great spot to fill a couple hours with bowling, cocktails and pizza. It's best to bowl late, after 6pm fridays and after 9pm on saturdays, when the neon lights come up ( for Rock-n-bowl)and the regular lighting goes dark. There are approx. 20 lanes so avoid league nights. The pizza is good and on special thursdays and sundays. Great bar and they mix a good drink,the shoes are probably as old as the building,which is 60's era, and there are plenty of bowling balls to choose from and most have their own names. read more

So my friends and I got really into bowling this summer and their prices were about 2.50 per game. Had a lot of fun but all of a sudden they raised their prices to 4.50 per game. We were at the point where we would go 3 times a week and play at least 3 games. We were even thinking about buying our own bowling balls and shoes at this establishment. We will no longer be doing this because if we want to play 3 games with shoes it would be about 16$ instead of 10$ which is what we would usually pay. At this point it simply isn't worth it especially being college students and having little money. read more
