I took their CCW class in October 2021 and have been a regular since then. Staff is knowledgeable and efficient. There is a rifle range and pistol range, as well as archery. The pistol range has six separate lanes and area for loading and personal storage. Clean and temp controlled, although not everyone cleans their brass after a session, so be sure to ensure your lane is clean before firing. I've purchased firearms through them and staff is competent and thorough. They offer hourly lane and firearm rentals as well as 6-month and annual memberships, which I highly recommend. The facility is perched up on a hill over looking the Verde Valley, located by the Yavapai Sheriff station/jail and Out of Africa. I do wish they had a larger selection of pistols for "try-out", and for sale. However, they can order anything for the customer. Highly recommend if you're visiting and want something fun to try..or if you're a local and want to brush-up, or maintain your skills!

Being fairly new to this area, I did an internet search and found Mercy Guitar and the Fiddle Doctor. I brought my instrument to their shop and received a wonderful warm welcome by two fine fellas - Daniel (working on a guitar) and Doug (working on a violin). They was busy but not too busy to greet me, assess my needs, and provide me with a good price to solve my instrument issues. 48-hours later my bass was ready for pickup. I took my baby home, and the next morning I gave it a go. It was 99% perfect. There was a slight buzz on the open g-string. "No problem!" Daniel squeezed me in and immediately took care of that buzz while Doug educated me on the finer points of classical stringed instruments and recommended a violin teacher for my 8-year old. My first experience with Mercy Guitar and the Fiddle Doctor was outstanding. These expert repair gurus provide friendly, top-notch service at competitive prices. I give them two slaps up! Great shop!
