Amazing venue where there's something to do for everyone. Last night we enjoyed time at the bowling alley. Afterwards, we went to Johnny Rockets for much needed burger and soda. For the really young ones, there's a spot for then too. Parents or guardians can leave them with this security area playground where you can sign in your youngsters. The lobby is so warm and inviting. The registration desk representatives are super helpful. In fact, everyone just goes above and beyond no matter what function they do. Time to visit this place again and again.

This place has a Midwest-nice kinda a vibe in a southwest town. Sitting on top of a hill with a beautiful view, just minutes from a quaint town, makes this a great getaway. The hotel staff (check-in, security, dealers, bartenders and club hosts) were all just plain nice people. The room was clean and seemed new. Just comfortable. The slots were plenty and played loose. Left a moderate winner. Looking forward to coming back!

Pros: My husband and I come to Sedona every year around the same time. He really enjoys gambling at the casino, so this year we decided to stay at the casino. It was cheaper than our usual Sedona Hotel. In Sedona, the hotel I prefer is $800/night. Cliff's Castle Casino Hotel was like $350 for 2 nights. I loved this hotel. It was clean, clean, clean. Not a speck of dirt anywhere. The staff was really nice. It has an indoor pool and hot tub. After a long day of skiing in Flagstaff, I had the hot tub all to myself! Win. Cons: As everyone has mentioned, the front desk situation is frustrating. We couldn't find it on our own. We had to ask some people at the casino where to park and check in to hotel. $20 resort fee daily. However, it's really not that bad. It includes unlimited bottle water. Which is not to be underestimated in desert climates.

Theoretically, even if you didn't read a single thing just looking at the different areas and imagining how people lived on the side of a cliff is rather interesting. Know before you go, it's ten dollars per adult for entrance. I spent probably an hour on the very short loop of a walk and lingering. If you give yourself an hour, it's probably a very liberal guess of how long it would take the average bear.

I went to buy the admission for Tuzigoot and I was informed that my admission would also include free admission within the next week to go see Montezuma Castle National Monument. I had no idea that the pass would include both places. LUCKY me!! Anyhow, you must visit Montezuma Castle National Monument. It is absolutely amazing and breathtaking to see in person. It's so inspiring to think about how they built such a high-rise castle into the mountain. I absolutely loved the volunteer Park Ranger who was super knowledgeable and passionate about sharing information. One fact that he shared was that part of the reason that they built the structures into the mountain was to prevent them from being flooded away. He also shared about recent flooding events in the area from the past few years. He had additional photos to show and he was answering everybody's questions with such thorough information. The walk-through of the park itself was also amazing with lots of trees and a creek. Do not skip this!!!

There was no coffee maker in the room but had the coffee and items there, the light fixtures either were broken or didn't work. There was no onsite management to complain to. If you had an issue you had to drive up to the casino front desks to complain. The card key both stopped working. And no we didn't put them close to cell phones or anything, left in truck in sun visor for that very reason. One half role of toilet paper . Toilet also somehow was plugged up on second day so at 0230 in the morning it flooded the bathroom with water as to the toilet kept running. Then where was the breakfast located at? Never was told anything about it. The main building was locked up and says take all issues to the casino front desks which is a 1/4 mile away. Yes the place is pet friendly, so friendly that there was dog droppings everywhere around the pool area. My dogs went out with me and stepped in some and came back in and got it on the blanket that we had to ask for the bed in the couch. Yes we had to ask for extra blankets. For a sweet this is worse than a motel 6.

Service is beyond poor, staff acts ignorant. No coffee maker in the room, no possibility to get hot water, no vending machines, zero comfort. Suite smelled like cigarette smoke, was not really clean and even missing advertised furniture. The pull-out sofa looked like someone got shot in it and the "repair" of the only lamp in the bedroom looked like a 3 yo came across some adhesive tape. AC didn't work right, toilet plugged up under normal use. We had to clean up the mess ourselves, because the phone in the room wasn't working either and no staff on site. Management ignored my complaint right away. Under no circumstances would I ever stay in any Cliff Castle accommodation again.
