Odd motel 6 remodel. Sink with no counter.
    Brendan W.

The worst experience ever. Front counter keyed my cards to the wrong room. Hike back to check-in. Wait in line again. Got to CORRECT room and ac is broken. Third try. This place is just NASTY. Stay away. Dirty everything. And nobody seems to care.

Hair in tub, hair band on floor, looking for an outlet I moved the bedside table, and ugh...I don't want to know what this is on the wall.

I opted for this stay over because it was more affordable, not here for the casino. Just a clean room for the night. Please, don't stay here if you want clean.

I stood at The Lodge one night for a conference and it is the worst hotel I have stood at. The first room was not what I reserved and the lights and AC were broken. The second room had stains on the carpet, a loud AC, and dirty bathroom. I could hear everything going on in the room next to me. The rooms in the casino hotel are much nicer than The Lodge.

Bathrooms falling apart and the door lock doesn't work.

Yikes worse than a motel 6. Stay in the main casino. Not only will you get better service, the rooms are way cleaner and more up to date.and your key barely works part of the time. You can't use the main pool in main casino, Wich sucks because they don't take care of their pool there was dirty diapers on the side and chapstick floating in the pool. The juccuzi was green. On a final note please consider moving the coffee out of the bathroom it's highly unsanitary. Who want to make coffee where they and other people have pooped.

    Dead insect!

DISGUSTING!!! I have no other words! Do NOT stay here. We thought we were staying in the hotel connected to the casino! NOPE! They gave us the DOG rooms & we didn't even have DOGS!! We didn't even sleep all night! The room was gross, dead flies on counter, no fridge no nothing!! DUSTY AS HELL! Pure disgust for this place! FILTHY!!

I don't mean any slight to the town of Camp Verde, and in fact I really quite enjoyed the entirety…read moreof the Verde Valley, but my great hunch is that many people end up staying here as a sort of in-between when traveling to Sedona/Phoenix/Flagstaff/etc. That was the case with me. We were looking at a holiday getaway but with the unpredictability of it all, we certainly didn't want to book too far in advance. Apparently we booked a bit later than everyone else, as we ended up being priced out of Sedona proper. In retrospect (and after some exploration) we discovered that Cottonwood, AZ is also a good option and a bit higher on the cute scale, but with all of that said, I didn't mind my stay here one bit. Location-wise, you're right off the freeway and just a stone's throw from Montezuma's Castle, Montezuma Well, Tuzigoot, Cottonwood, and Jerome. We hit them all (phew!) on our day in the valley and had a delightful time discovering this part of the state. As for the hotel, it's right off the freeway so you get plenty of quick access to those things. It shares a parking lot with a Denny's and a Starbucks, so your basic necessities are met (though a quick drive into town to Verde Cafe will reward you with many many more local town memories). This property is fine. Everything worked, everything was sufficient. As others have mentioned, it's very pared down for COVID, but they were enforcing all the right measures so I felt good about that part of things. And they're dog-friendly (for a fee) and with no size restrictions. That's honestly the biggest determining factor that led me here. There's not a lot of grass around, however, so your pup will need to be comfortable with the rocky area out back or you'll need to do some exploring. For the convenience and the price (I think the base price was like $70 or so for a weeknight, plus pet fee and taxes) I really wasn't expecting much, and they were just fine to meet that expectation. One thing to note with pets: They have you sign an agreement that your pet is not to be left in your room unattended. Doing so results in a $150 fine. They're very insistent on that. One can only assume there have been incidents...

But the carpet was stained all over and looked like it has not been deep cleaned for ages. Just nasty!! Bathroom floor wasn't that clean either. KEEP UR SHOES ON!! The dude at night was cool, but the crazy lady in the morning gave me misleading info. Not helpful at all. Ice machine did not work.... We ate at the Mexican restaurant next door. This was the best part of the stay. Will not stay at this place again. What a dump!

Rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. The only issue I had was with the shower which was either a turbo-force gale or a trickle rain shower. Something in between would have been preferred. But it was a large, spacious shower and a big bathroom. Rooms have keurig coffee makers and a decent-sized tv. (I've been in some hotels with dinky tvs that are hardly worth the effort). This is a newer hotel added to the casino and includes a beautiful pool and hot tub area and a small workout room. It's adjacent to the casino and its cafes and steakhouse and bowling alley! I would definitely return again and hope to do so in the near future. A great value for the price of the room. I recommend.

I still had a fun time. There were good eatery options being that they are *way* out there. Free play plus my $20 lasted us a few hours on the slots. We were able to catch the Suns game at the bar (and take advantage of the free sodas at the nearby soda fountain). We also listened in on the sound check for the concert happening later that evening. All in all a decent visit to the casino. Would have been better to have won. Meh. Maybe next time.

Your accommodations will include a private room with a private bathroom, and your own personal bubble for gazing at the heavens. Our room included a standing fan, coffee maker, water dispenser and a refrigerator. There is WiFi and a pair of binoculars you can use to get a closer look. We found it curious that there was no ventilation, no exhaust fan in the bathroom, no windows you could open... only the front door and the patio door that leads to your bubble. Your bubble is equipped with a color changing light and a bed with a heated blanket. You'll unzip to enter. The bubble will deflate, but will reinflate when zipped back up. The top of the bubble is clear plastic, giving you a panoramic view. The lower part of the bubble provides the privacy you would expect The private room would be equivalent to a 2-star hotel, but the overall experience definitely bring this up to a 4-star review. Finding the entrance to the property can be somewhat tricky. I've posted a photo showing what it looks like Side Note: the experience of farting in a bubble is pretty much what you'd expect.
