AT ALL COSTS AVOID THIS PLACE.... I was hesitant to bring my new car here from past experiences and the bad word of mouth you hear from anyone else. The audio shop across the street was closed so I went here on impulse. I just got an amp installed to my stock radio. They said it would only take 90 minutes. They kept giving me the run around. Every 30 minutes they would say, "Only 15 more minutes bro." Finally, I got my car back 6 hours later only to find out the rear passenger speaker was not hooked up, The fade and balance was backwards (which can blow your speakers), my Parrot (hands free bluetooth) is completely broken, additional scratches added to my car from poor service, they also smoked cigs in/around my car and now it smells bad, they also left a mess inside my car (did not clean up after themselves.) They were closing and told me to come back the next day to have it finely tuned by the head audio manager. I went back the next day and they told me it would only take a couple hours. Again, 6 hours later: They finally fixed the balance/fade. Parrot is still broken and supposedly my fault as they "did not touch it", even though its directly connected to the radio. Front passenger tweeter is not grounded properly and massive amounts of static pours out of it any time the radio is on. The system sounds worse than it did before I brought it in. They sold me amp I did not need as my car comes stock with a better amp. They wanted me to pay to have my Parrot fixed even though they broke it. They wanted me to come back a 3rd day just so they could fix what they broke. I am now heading to another shop to pay more money just to have them undo EVERYTHING Z Auto Sound installed. I have now lost $450, 20 hours of time over a period of 3 days. A broken Parrot, Scratches on my rear bumper, Horrid smell in my car, and a mess to clean up. They will try and hustle you and sell you crap you dont need. Make sure to check your receipts before paying them. They will always try to sneak additional fees on you. The crap they sell you is overpriced and they do a ghetto job. Do your own research, they have negative reviews everywhere. Shop elsewhere and you will be much happier!! PROS: ABSOLUTELY NONE! Perfect example of your false statements. It was almost 5 years ago. You wouldn't look at my car unless I provided proof of purchase. Which I found original receipt. The honest problem is you didn't connect the wiring properly. I demanded nothing from you at all. I only asked if you would correct your error which any human with a business mind would know is in order. BUT YOU said IF I purchase speakers you would correct the problem. Went to this place this morning to have them install my head unit however it became a confrontation on whether or not the unit would work and the extra cost to install it. I went ahead against my better judgement. Once completed they charged me 85.00 for pretty much leaving my car a fucking mess! I saw cut wires on the floor, wires hanging down under my dash and my USB wire on the fucking wrong side of the stereo. I will never recommend this place or will I ever go back! This place is a joke! Please people who have had your windows tinted here check to make sure you still have original windows! I got my car windows tinted here a few years back. Last week I had to have my windshield replaced due to a crack. The repair guy asked my husband why we had the windows replaced before? The front windshield and side windows had been replaced at one point. They were non-manufacturer parts. I drove my car off he dealer lot with only 5 miles on it. There was never any need to replace glass until now. This is the only place that ever worked on my windows. And I take my car to the dealer for tune ups. So it's unlikely they were the ones that replaced my windows. Original glass is more expensive than generic. it's been years so I can't really do anything about it now. Except warn people to inspect your car before and after you deal with these kinds of businesses. Shady shady shady! read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I was hesitant to get any type of audio work but I went in, met this big guy and he seemed super cool and honest, so against my better judgment I decided to make my stock radio in my Audi IPOD compatible. The cost of this was almost $300 which is outrageous considering the Audi dealership charges $300. When I was told the price the only reason I allowed them to do it was because I thought the guy helping me was super cool. They did the work and it worked fine, i had no complaints. Next day, my system was recognizing my IPOD but didn't play any sound, neither did my CD player or radio. I went in and told them it was working. They made me wait hours only to tell me to come back later because the guy was not there. They went on to tell me that their work is solid and that my audio is the problem. Funny that my system has been flawless, and the second they did their "solid" work it no longer works now. Waited another hour or so and they supposedly fixed it only for it not work the next day. I am going in tomorrow again to have them fix it or give me my money back. Not only do I want my money back, I will make them fix my audio or take them to small claims court. I needed a new cord or my old one reconnected to hookup my iPhone and iPad to play in my G35. Stopped by here some it's super close to the gym I frequent. I came in 10 seconds after the person before me. The lady helped him and even had the guy from the back come and help him look at and search for various kits for his car and what he "might" want for 15 minutes, while I stood there i unacknowledged. They even say there several minutes searching what he might get off eBay?!?!? Seriously? If they can't even greet new potential customers or acknowledge them with a hello over 15 minutes they obviously don't care to get new business. Thank you so much for wasting my time. So here I sit at Zautosound. I had them install the alarm on my Ford F-150 almost 2 years ago. Even 2 yrs later after I sliced a wire that was hooked up to my shell door and pulled out the light bulb which also was connected to the alarm they are still here willing to fix it and a big bonus they are not trying to sell me a new one or charge me. The first stereo they overcharged me on I came to find out, installation had no issues though. Then a few years later the salesman practically makes fun of me for buying such an "old" stereo. It was NEW 3 years ago! Ugh...anyhow that's not why this is a 2 star review. The second stereo we bought, gave them another chance, and it was an 80 stereo they charged us $150 for with "free installation". I don't know what installation costs, but I don't think it's that much. :/ I had to ask him to write free install on the receipt after we bought it, he resisted at first and then it was barely legible. This was a gift for my mom. So when we brought her in a different guy then starts to try and tell me that it doesn't mention anything about the harness and trys to lead towards charging me for parts or some BS like that. I very strongly let him know it was FREE INSTALLATION which means no additional charges! My overall shopping experience there was unpleasant and felt rushed and just disrespected. I went there for a simple question about my stereo. The person who worked there made me feel like I was annoying him that I was even in there. He told me that it would be probably $500.00 to fix my stock CD player and it might not work and they could possibly break my stereo. I found this place and had my speakers removed from my trailblazer ss before i sold it . Ferris is a cool guy who sells you stuff you "DONT" need he tells you the pros and cons of a particular item your interested in . Z auto sound now has the business from my brother , dad and now step mom. Good deals and takes care of us . I took my 09 g8 to them to do in install. It took a few hours but i arranged a time left the car and it was a speaker install (4) doors and an amp install on the stock head unit. The amp was tuned, no mess in my car and i didnt pay until i was happy with it . I have been going here for over 7 years and never had a problem when Farris and Brian were at the store, but now they are not there and not only was I told one price and charged another to take a basic box out of my old car that took them 10 min to just cut the wire, I could of done that and saved $120. The new installer chipped my front window and then lied about it. When I asked to see the video no one in the whole shop could work there own video machine supposedly !! My car was being sold that day and I had to take a big loss because of the chipped front windshield. This place has gone way down, and should never be trusted with your car or any stereo installs. They are rude and not knowledgable anymore, and on top of it overcharge you for really doing nothing. Be warned big time if you go here you will get ripped off and damage done to your car!! The Young Lady behind the counter, Honey, knew the business and knew exactly what we would need. Our Technician, Jose, offered to come to our home to complete the install (a little extra but well worth it) and was masterful at the installation. First of all I would like to say, Z Autosound is the best in their field!!! Here's my backstory... We had Z Autosound install our system in our 2004 GMC Yukon back in 2004. Last year the stereo died on us. Since we were in Best Buy at the moment for something else we checked out the stereos section while we were there. Long story short, we purchased a new system with Best Buy which they completely botched! This week I finally was fed up with listening to our botched system and decided to go back to Z Autosound. Best decision I made since 2004. Tony I swear is the best installer around!!!! My Yukon sounds like it did when they first installed my system back in 2004. I have been coming to this place for the past 5 YEARS!! No matter what sterio shop you go to, you will always find something wrong. The best part about these guys is not very much ever goes wrong and if it does, THEY FIX IT FOR YOU! I bough a Bran new 12" Alpine sub and it blew a week later. I knew it was my fault but they replaced my SUB FOR FREE!! Because I had been going there for so long. I have had over 15 cards brought through here for alarms, stereos, gps, you name it.
