Came to look at our refrigerator since it wasn't cooling, making ice, or keeping frozen food frozen. Was were informed that we may need to replace the compressor. A friend came over, pulled the fridge out and cleaned the filters since the appliance is set between the wall space. It's been working fine for weeks now. I may be more understanding than some. I scheduled an appointment because my washing machine seemed off balance, and the technician didn't show up during the scheduled time frame. I contacted the business, and was informed that there was some kind of "emergency" that would delay the technician's arrival. I opted for an appointment the following morning. The next morning, the technician called me to confirm my availability and let me know his arrival time. He arrived as scheduled. Evaluated the situation with my machine, and informed me that it was the motor causing the problem. He did not recommend repairing the machine as the cost for the repair would be high. He suggested that I use the machine until it becomes unusable and then purchase a new machine. While there was the hiccup on the first appointment, I truly appreciated his honesty in evaluating the issue. I would certainly be contacting them again. read more

My washer broke and I was about to replace it when I called Yz. Next day he was here fixing my washer. Even had the part on stock.

After the power outage last week, our washing machine would not go through the cycles. I called for a technician. When he arrived (Armes) I told him I thought it needed to be recalibrated. Without touching the machine, he told me that the control panel was fried and that I needed to buy a new washing machine. I said "are you sure", so he turned the dial once and said "you need to buy a new machine, that will be $89". So I paid him for the diagnoses, and he left. My wife and I spent half a day driving down to Home Depot and bought a new machine. The next day, my wife decided to fiddle with the old machine and it's working great again! Luckily we were able to cancel the delivery of the new machine. Two days ago I called Yz to tell them what happened. No one answered, so I left a message to call me back. I'm still waiting for the call. I guess I'll just eat the wasted $89 for the false diagnoses. read more

My craft ball ice maker was making a banging noise so I called these guys. A guy just showed up took the back panel off my fridge and told me it was low on freon and the fridge was not going to get cold. LIE..the fridge works fine. When I realized I could just turn off the craft ice maker my problems would have been solved. Seems very eager for work. Even more eager for payment. I'm a rental manager. My regular repair tech is injured so I tried Yz. Quick to schedule. Quick to send diagnostics bill which I paid within 21 minutes of email receipt (credit card payment only plus 3% fee). Also authorized the repair within 24 minutes of receipt. Today, TUESDAY 5/27 8:45 am I get the repair bill. Invoice says DUE 5/24!OVERDUE! I ask for photos (my regular guy sends photos of the parts/repair). Yz tells me the job was finished yesterday; didn't take photos; ask your tenant. 10:19 am. Yz emails: give me a call. Oops! Yelp long-distance number doesn't accept calls. 10:24 am. Yz emails: Invoice needs to be paid. 11:52 am. Yz emails: If you don't make payment, we will go and take the parts that we installed before. Meanwhile, tenant confirms the repair was done TODAY, not yesterday. How can repair (done 5/27), invoice sent 5/27, have a due date 5/24, be marked OVERDUE!?! I'm assuming the repair was done properly but Yz way of doing business is not appreciated. Unless you are a homeowner with your credit card ready, or a rental manager sitting by your computer waiting for the bill, this company might not work for you. read more

I highly recommend Yz Pro. Our Whirlpool refrigerator was leaking from the ice maker and then became stuck. The tech was able to diagnose and explain what was wrong. It was due to compressor running hot. He was unable to completely fix the problem, but was able to stop the leaking. We truly appreciated the quick response and price for repair was more than reasonable. When contacting Whirlpool directly, they wanted a downpayment prior to looking at the job. read more

Wanted to try this company for a washer issue I was having. Unfortunately they did not fix my issue however it was my decision based on their honesty about the issue where I decided to just buy another washer. So I live in an apartment and I have a connected stacked washer and dryer. My unit came with a lot junk appliances and things that I had to do a lot of repairs or replacements over the past year. My washer is working but it is making a loud squeaky noise while on wash cycle. I called around for someone to come by within two weeks. Looking for appliance company: I called around. They were so easy to schedule an appointment and very flexible. They definitely have high customer service where the dispatcher and techs were kind in scheduling and answering my questions. Communication: They take calls and you will mostly work with Eugenia or a dispatcher for coordination, scheduling, and questions. They also take text as well. They did call me which I preferred that they are on their way or if they had any questions. Payment: Paid with card. I did not ask about paying by check or cash but I believe they accept those. There is a diagnostic fee and part fee if they need to buy something. Three days and process: Their process is that they will visit and do a diagnostic. If it is something easy to fix, they will do it on the first visit. However, if it is something they need to repair or replace with new parts they will schedule another appointment. They did try their best to come back on same day. Their first visit, they came in the morning and then came back in the afternoon to replace a part. We thought that fixed the issue as my washer was not squeaking, but my washer fooled us. It started squeaking again on the wash cycle. Called them back and they rescheduled to come back first thing the next morning. This time they just did a diagnostic and I needed to reschedule for a third day visit. They came back the third day and it was determined their was a part that I had to replace to fix the issue with a 20% chance of my washing machine be completely broken. Decision: Lately, my odds have not been so great and they were very transparent and discussed options with me. I thank them for coming back multiple times, being flexible, making me feel as a valued customer, and being transparent and honest about my options. Because I did not want to risk not having a washer, I decided to just buy a new one. Overall: Overall I would go back with them. I was grateful for the response for this is something that needed to be fixed ASAP. Within minutes, Eugene sent a message and said he was available on the same day, after 4:00 PM, which was a request I had made. This is important to me because often, repair people are not available for days and in the meantime, you are stuck with the results of whatever appliance is not working. Later in the day, I realized I had purchased an extended warranty on the refrigerator and they will repair it for me. (Although I still don't know when they're coming!!) While I never actually hired Eugene, I have been impressed with his professionalism, his flexibility to work around my schedule, and his prompt communication. These guys have the worst communication and service I've ever had. They are scammers. They charged me a lot to fix my microwave/oven combo and in the end it's not fixed. They even had problems getting the oven from the wall and when they put it back they didn't replace all the screws. They want to continue to charge me and not guarantee that it will be fixed! Terrible service. I wanted to get my refrigerator repaired. Every time I called them they said they would get back to me as to when they could do the repairs. I called them 9 times because they never got back to me or gave me updates. The 7th time I called they said they would order the part. They should get it in 2-3 days and schedule the service. They never gave me updates and my refrigerator is still not fixed. I finally told them to cancel the service and I would look elsewhere. Stay away from this company! read more
