I contacted YZ pro for a refrigerator leak based on the reviews. The tech showed up on time, got right to work. He found the problem he thought and things were fine until the next morning when there is another leak. Held off calling a day because maybe it was a loose ice cube but it happened the next morning too. I contacted the office and ask them to come back and take another look, they were wonderful, I was able to get the work scheduled the following day and they said they would look at it at no charge given the short period of reoccurrence. The same tech came back and this time he got it fixed. With a lot of work, and perseverance he found what may have been also causing the problem. Despite all that additional work, the company did not charge me for the additional time which I found to be very honest. I expected a break but it showed me they really care about their customers and the work they do. They are friendly, knowledgeable, they clean the entire area before they leave. Whirlpool washer stuck on sensing fill cycle, contacted Eugene late in the day post regular operating hours. Responded in minutes, communication was clear. Next morning came out onto premise, diagnosed the problem, obtained parts and repaired the machine. All done in 2 hours time. Pricing reasonable, payment method and invoice is clear cut. Disappointed, on 6/16 post on Yelp ask for help regarding my washer, messages mention with Code and what's problem on my washer according contact with manufacturer company.After post , bunch of companies pop up and I Chose one of them call YZ Pro, charge rate for diagnosis which is understand and as an oral agreement. But when tech arrived, he's only see the washer serial number and ask what code it's appears, I told him and he said a problem on drainage , ask for fix and costs $385, it's happened only between 10 minutes, I ask him you even not open the back and check what really happened and ask me fix it or not, I said you only look at the serial number and even didn't touch it, what's going on, then he call the office and pass me the phone, I told the other party what's going on but opposite party just keep saying you just want not to pay the diagnosis fee, I was so mad and said said your tech didn't provide the service, I know what's happening to my washer already and post all information on yelp, you are not coming to tell me the costs of fixing it and even not have a look , after I pass the phone back to tech, after they talk and said now offer open it up and check what really happened. I called looking for someone willing to travel out to Hauula to repair an ice maker. I gave the person who answered the phone the exact address, and was told that they do service that area. That there would be an 89.00 diagnostic fee, which I agreed to. I drove 45 minute to get to the unit in Hauula, and received a text from YZ that the fee would now be 169.00 because of the distance. They sent this 10 minutes before the start of the scheduled appointment, 8 to 10. And what frustrated me even more, they wanted the money paid upfront, before theyd send anyone out. I talked to the owner of the unit who was willing to pay the increased amount.But when I informed her of the upfront payment, she agreed, something doesnt sound right Shes had multiple repairs done in the past, by reputable servicemen, and has never had to pay the fee upfront. They were able to fix my washer easily. Just felt like i overpaid for what was a simple spring change. I get, however, that quality work takes time to develop and you can't put a price on that. Also I was expecting to see a company car or some sort but the strong accented worker came to my house in a beat up car and didn't really take the time to hear out my concerns. Whew! I don't know about anyone else but for me an appliance that isn't functioning properly sounds to me to like trouble. Our dishwasher was working but would being flashing all white lights and I wouldn't be able to do anything without completely shutting off the power and then turning it back on to reset. Then it would work fine for a couple of cycles then have the same issue. So I go to Yelp and find Yz Pro. Their response time was the quickest and most efficient of all the companies I reached out to. They came out as soon as I was available and within their window time frame. He checked it and let me know what we may need to replace and the chances that may not be the complete fix. No fluff just straight to the point. I appreciated their straightforward approach. I took a few days to decide if I wanted to go through with the replacement. As soon as I confirmed I only waited a few days for the part to come in and they scheduled me right away for my next availability. The tech came again within the window time frame and switched it out super fast. My dishwasher has been working great ever since. I was told repairman was available in the afternoon and that they'd call sooner if he had earlier openings or changes to his schedule. Our washer broke on 10/20. The lid would not open, and a load was stuck inside. As recommended by our contractor, on 10/21 I called Budget Appliance Repair and was quoted a $95 consultation fee with the earliest appointment availability on 11/04/24. On 10/22, I found YzPro on Yelp and contacted them in the morning. 45 minutes later I got an appointment for 1:00 pm the same day. Very disappointed! Called Yz Pro for washer unbalanced repair. Very responsive and was able to accommodate me that day. My issue is we're paying a diagnostic fee for you to diagnose the problem correctly? I informed service tech I've changed springs about 1 month ago and it was still unbalanced. Ive made sure it was level and everything I possibly could do, to correct before calling someone to do it. Service tech takes 5 mins and tells me it's the springs. I say are you sure? I just changed them but ok. maybe he knows something I don't shoot's that's why I called them. He changes springs and runs a wash without recalibrating it. Didn't know how to recalibrate it. But charged me $300 for this. left before washer even hit the spin cycle in which it still was unbalanced. I called Eugene and he got in touch with the tech. The techs response was buy a new washer!! this kinda service is deplorable I'm sorry. $300 and that's the response I get? that's almost a new washer. My dryer died yesterday and I found Yz Pro on Yelp. I got an appointment for today from 1-3. The repairman called around noon and asked if he could come over soon. I said yes, and he did. He cleaned all the lint out of the dryer and replaced the belt, within an hour. The price was very reasonable, and significantly less than buying a new dryer.
