Very modern dining hall & beautifully decorated. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. Very clean restaurant too. Ordered takeout; dumplings. They were delicious! Freshly prepared & homemade. I noticed while I was waiting for my order that the staff was working very hard and efficiently. There were many take out orders being prepared along with bubble teas. My dumplings were still warm and fresh by the time I arrived at home. I had a 25 minute drive. I wish I would have had more time to eat in as the menu has many choices of entrees. My husband and I tried YYTime the first weekend it officially opened and were very excited to try the new concept. We tried the Bang Bang chicken for an appetizer (so surprisingly similar to Japanese fried chicken we had in Kyoto last year), grilled shrimp (** highly recommend ***), beef bbq, and I believe it was B5 (sour and spicy soup). We also had the E2 deep fried mini buns, which were delicious. Recommend the brown sugar bubble tea at 25% sweetness. Cannot wait to try more of the menu! As a Cleveland native and CSU alumni that used to live in Tower Press down the road, I was SO EXCITED this building was used for such a great business. I was very excited to try YYTime, since I grew up in the Chinatown area. But my high expectations didn't match up with my first experience. I'm sure not having photos didn't help either, as most of the menu consisted of just words so I just picked random items. The decor and ambience in the place was very nice. Wish there were blinds on the windows though, since the setting sun was blinding my friend at the spot we sat at. Food: I ordered the Braised Beef Brisket with Rice (R4) and the mild spiced chicken feet app. The rice platter was beautifully displayed, but honestly, there was no flavor or sauce to the beef. I was disappointed. I know their old place (Dagu) is known for noodle dishes, but I thought their addition of rice items would have been just as tasty... As for the chicken feet, it was good they weren't super spicy, but it was honestly really chewy. I thought it was going to be similar to dim sum chicken feet, where the meat is loose and it's much easier to chew. This was hard and felt like you were going to break your teeth chewing it. We got a couple of Boba teas, honeydew and crème brûlée. We got deep fried spring rolls and spicy barbecue beef on a skewer. The food had great flavor. Love this vibrant new addition to CLE Chinatown! It's a mix of the best noodle soups, bbq, appetizers, bao and protein dishes. Today I had the tomato based soup with crispy pork chop. Noodles and protein came on the side (you can also ask for refill of more noodle). The broth was piping hot, in a mini caldron and sits inside a holder so that it's elevated. Broth was not spicy but taste was flavorful. My favorite item that my group ordered is not pictured but was a brine beef shank. Truly exceptional and will definitely order again. The umami profile was so unique. For dessert I had a dragona matcha latte. Super creamy and wasn't too sweet which is perfect amount of sweet for my taste. We came to check out the soft opening this weekend (I've been missing Dagu in my life of late). Decor truly felt like a food hall, but we were still served by waitstaff. The revamped Dagu seemed tastier than before and back to its OG style (we thought the flavors were diminishing before they closed the first location). Yakitori was mostly hits (we really liked the sichuan lamb, okra, rice cake... lotus and potatoes were too soft in my opinion - wish they had more of a crunch). Bubble teas were tasty treats. Our bowls included half a piece of fish tofu (not even a full piece), a single quail egg, a small slice of ham, some veggies, and a few thin slices of meat vs a single skinny beef bone. The bowl was mostly noodles and soup. Additionally, the grilled dishes were pricey and not hot when served. We had the fried chicken, braised beef, braised chicken, fish tofu, and chicken cutlet. The chicken cutlet was good, the rest were unmemorable. So excited to try this place out! I stopped here last weekend with my 7year old daughter. We ordered a bowl of noodle soup with bone in beef(A4), some of the grilled vegetables(eggplant with garlic and rice cakes) and a plate of spring rolls. The noodle soup was great- but be aware there will be crab stick in it, so if for some reason you can't eat seafood, be sure to check with your server. The grilled vegetables were the real winners- eggplant was the best yu xiang I've had in a long time and my kid ate most of it. The rice cakes had a great seasoning and perfect texture. As for the spring rolls- skip them. They weren't anything special, and were cold on the inside. Next time, I'm going to get the actual over the bridge noodles- the meat would probably be easier for my kid to eat, and a whole bunch of different grilled vegetables to try. This place was pretty kid friendly- my daughter enjoyed looking at all the knickknacks. While I didn't let her play the decorative drums, other kids there did play with them and nobody seemed to mind so maybe I'll be a little more permissive next time! read more

Heard about this place from a friend and decided to check it out! Initially was under the impression it was a food hall but it is one restaurant. Had a long wait on a Sunday, word has spread fast! Has nice red lantern decor and spacious dining area (had some issues with the table being wobbly but eventually we stuck some towels under..could not risk getting hot soup on us). Otherwise, for the actual food the apps were decent! The build the bridge dishes were fun to make and helped me realize that the already made ones have pork/other meat cooked into it so was able to avoid that since i got to pour mine in. The coconut curry flavor was delicious without being overly spicy. I thought the tomato one could use a little more flavor but after adding some of the coconut curry into my tomato soup, I LOVED it! I am still craving this combo taste. The noodles were a little sticky but still very easy to eat and yummy. We ordered boba as well but it didn't come for an hour so we ended up cancelling. My sister and I always have gone to Daegu at their old location and have always gotten great service and boba. Today we came in and were seated, it took over 10 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. When we finally did order it took almost 40 minutes to get one appetizer. All the while the waitress ( named Shizu) never came over to check on us at all. We then had to ask where our shared entree was because she never came over to provide an update. Finally an hour after ordering we got our entree. We ordered the chicken cutlet with rice. The chicken cutlet itself was chewy and hard to eat. Which was pretty disappointing for almost $16.
