ME AND WIFY GETTING A FOOT MASSAGE
    Salvatore P.

1/14/2023 me and wify decided a foot massage is due. This place is located in Oakridge mall in san jose. Today was a little wait (due to a weekend) Waited for about 10 minutes or so. The lady walked us to the comfortable chair and soaked my feet into hot medicated water (so relaxing) . The lady massaged our feet for 90 minutes and it felt so good. The place is very nice and soothing. I.will definitely come back at least once a month or more. Highly recommend

Overall if you're looking for a spa like experience this is not the place for you. This is a place to get a quick little relaxing time but nothing big. I've been here roughly four times and each time it's slightly different. Biggest cons: -keep increasing prices. Last time I went it was roughly $35 for the 30 minute foot. Now it's $41. -charge $3 for using your card. They really want you to use cash so they add a fee if you use your card. It used to be $1, now it's $3. -you never really get the full amount of time. This time I set a stop watch from the time I sat down to when they were done and it was 27 minutes. So it was really a 25 minute massage at best. -since it is in the mall you don't get a full relaxed atmosphere. They do play music, but they keep the doors open so you hear mall people walking by etc. It would be helpful if they shut the doors. Biggest pro -quick and fast, you can just walk in and get a massage most times.

I used to have massage envy and had that monthly plan with massage once a month. Unfortunately it was either I was busy and I couldn't use the credit or when I really needed a massage, called in and they had no opening.... When not YW Relaxation. Whenever I need a massage, they are just right there. I agree they perfect don't have nice upscale decors or even divided rooms, but if you need a massage at the way you like, they are there in oakridge mall most days with the most 10 mins wait.

The most amazing massage place. Really great. I'm gonna be coming back here all the time

For it being in the mall, a good spot for a quick relaxation. I got the 40 minute back and foot massage combo.

I've been going to Lucky Foot Relaxation Massage for quite some time now, and I can honestly say…read moreevery therapist I've worked with has been experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and very well trained. What I appreciate most is that they take the time to understand my specific focus areas and adjust the massage based on what my body needs that day. They really listen and tailor the session to what works best for me, whether it's deep tissue focus, recovery, or overall relaxation. And then they always take time to make me feel comfortable. Another thing that stands out is their flexibility and customer service. Many times I've reached out last minute because I happened to be nearby or wanted to book same day, and they've often been able to accommodate me with therapists ready to go. Consistently professional, clean, reliable, and high quality service. Highly recommend.

I had already planned to leave a tip, but when it wasn't what they considered their "minimum," I was questioned about it and even laughed at. That alone was unprofessional, but it didn't stop there. The front desk staff then pulled out a tip sign that was hidden behind another sign--something that should have been clearly visible from the start if it's truly their policy. On top of that, I was charged more on my card than what I was told. Fifteen percent does not equal twenty percent, and that kind of discrepancy is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the towels used during the service had a noticeable mildew smell, especially the one placed on my face, which completely took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. Overall, between the lack of transparency, pressure around tipping, being overcharged, and poor hygiene standards, this was not a professional or comfortable environment. I would not recommend this place.

They have water bottles and hot tea for you while you wait or for after your session. I checked in at the front and was immediately taken back to a massage room. The room is very nice and clean with relaxing music playing in the background as well as nature sounds of water. The lights are dim to your level of comfort. You can remove as much or as little clothing as you like. I laid down on the comfortable table and waited for my masseuse. You can choose a male or female masseuse when you make your appointment. Laura came in and described what she was going to do. She asked if I had any areas on my body that were bothering me. I let her know my low back is an ongoing issue. I really appreciated that she asked me that and how much pressure I would like for the massage. I have to say, this was one of the best massages I have ever had. She did a combo of deep tissue and Swedish massage all over my body and also focused more on my low back. The hot stones felt really good and the heat level was just right. It was so relaxing and therapeutic. I really liked my experience with Laura. She helped my back feel better which is a miracle. I will definitely be coming back here again for more services. The staff here are all very friendly and make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend coming here.

Parking is fine with three spots in front of the business and more areas to park on the sides. It did not seem like a busy area and parking does not seem to be an issue here. Amanda asked me if there were any areas she should focus on and also let me know I could let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure. I've been getting massages in the San Jose area for years and Amanda is the first masseuse to ever ask me those questions. They also did a layer of heated towels between the sheet and the blanket that was magical and again, not something we've had done in other massage locations. The room was calming with low, warm lighting while we undressed. It was mostly shut off during our massage. The music was also playing low. Very easy to let yourself relax here. The lobby and overall space is well curated. The lobby has a coffee and tea bar that also has water post massage. 100/10 be sure to call and make an appt for you're girl! Can't wait to be back!

Came in with my neck and upper back on fire (extreme pain) but only had 30 min to find some relief!…read moreThe gentleman at the front suggested the 30 min full body massage where the therapist could focus on my problem areas. Zero wait. Paid $45 up front, was lead to a private room, instructed to remove my clothes, and left to prepare before the therapist arrived. I didn't expect that (thought I'd be in the group room), but proceeded to undress, crossing fingers I would be assigned a female massage therapist, as I wasn't quite asked about gender preference. Lying face down, another gentleman entered the room, and began tending to my knots. I kinda panicked in my mind at first but gave it some time. Luckily, he was very skilled, seemingly dedicating every ounce of energy he had in breaking through all these bricks in my back. I was amazed he could make half an hour feel complete in the way that is experienced in a full hour massage. He checked in periodically, asking if the pressure was ok. I said yes -- though it actually hurt like hell -- because I really needed a deep, deep tissue massage. Whew, progress was made. He later met me at the front door, asking if I was okay. I thanked him, tipped $15 cash, and learned his name: ANDY. The name of my late grandfather who I've been seeing in my dreams recently... wild, right?! Anyway, many foot spas are hit and miss. This one's pretty legit so far! As a note, while the music and lighting was pleasant, a soft, sweet aroma would be nice (the bed had a bit of an older smell, that's all).

I pointed to the service I wanted, and he brought me back right away. I got the 60-minute full-body massage, which was only $65! I paid at the front before my massage. I was put into a private room and was told to change out of my clothes. I went onto the bed under a sheet, and they started the massage right away. I was a little hesitant, but the man was very nice and polite, asking if the pressure was okay and if I was doing okay throughout the massage. He really put pressure on getting my knots out. It really hurt in a good way. He went over tight areas multiple times and somehow always knew when to stop when it was getting a bit too painful. (You can always ask him to go softer, but my neck really hurt and I could feel the knots as he was working on it, so I just took it like a champ). If you're looking to be pampered like you're in a Beverly Hills-style spa, this is not it. But if you're feeling tired from a rough time at work, like I was, and need to get rid of some body tension and relax at a lower price, this is perfect. I did note that the bed had a little bit of an older smell (reminded me of my grandpa), but I did not mind. At the end of my massage, I came out to the front, and he gave me his business card with his name on it. Andy was very skilled and professional. Def recommend!

AJ's skill is extremely unique and my entire body feels better after his magic. Before an appointment one time my shoulders and neck were quite stiff and after the appointment I immediately felt it was easier to turn my head to check my blindspots while driving home. His ear massages put me to sleep almost immediately in the best way possible. To me, his massages can feel more effective than full body hands-on massages as it truly feels like energy can be released through the specific points he works on and he seems to be very in-tune with what the body needs. My mood is always elevated after an appointment, the worst part is when the appointment is over and my body is wanting more. I discovered him through a former reflexology practitioner in the area who moved away years ago and I am SO glad AJ is available! His style of massage is very hard to find. While traveling in other states I haven't been able to find anyone who matches his skill level in truly understanding how effective reflexology is and how healing it can be. Can't recommend him enough!
