So I've been coming here for 21 years now... used to hang out here and high school. I grew up loving this place, and now my wife and kids love coming here too. The two young ladies who are ALWAYS there are super sweet and friendly. My mother in law loves the Hawaiian delight smoothie. My wife loves most of the milk teas (mostly bubble or almond). I prefer the coconut milk tea or the passion fruit black tea or the coffee milkshake. My kids will devour everything, but usually go straight for the ice cream or frozen yogurt. They have great toppings, sodas, sundaes, and juices. They're open late, and I'm usually the guy sneaking in just before 10 after the kids are asleep to wind down with some dessert. read more

Another great little shop inconspicuously tucked into a small strip of shops. Thankfully the bright red sign leads you to them. I've driven by far too often. This particular date night we wanted to try some new things. Even without a coupon or other kind of discount. We walked in and were greeted right away. It was empty so we talked a little with the super nice lady behind the counter. My husband couldn't decide between the Thai milk tea and the Caramel milk tea. I asked if he could have them mixed. Super nice lady said "Okay, I can do it for you!", but then we decided to get one of each instead and add the bubbles in both. Love the bubbles! It wasn't but a moment later that we were given our drinks. The Thai was perfect. Not too sweet with all the flavor of every really good Thai ice tea we've had at nice restaurants. The Caramel was a delicate caramel flavor. Still very nice, but I think the Thai was mine and my husbands favorite. Chewing on our bubbles, we left very happy. This shop offers Sundaes and Splits. This place sells boba and ice cream. In the same small plaza near Soban. Parking isn't hard to find but the lot is tiny. The place seems outdated but an old town favorite. Kind of reminds me of an older baskin robbins trying to keep their name up top amongst all the new upcoming yogurt places. Their ice cream is original and classic. 3 stars because this place can really use a makeover. Perhaps if they upgraded, they'd expand their patronage beyond loyal and local residents. read more

I've seen this place a number of times but it just didn't register in my radar. Had I known they sell Flavored Milk Tea, I would have tried them sooner. I ordered a large Bubble Milk Tea and it only set me back by $3.45. At first I thought it was a bit too sweet but after mixing it a bit, it was perfect. The tapioca was just the right amount of consistency. The only other places I know that sell milk tea close to where I live are Tutti Frutti and Creekside Cafe. I didn't care much for either of them. The carbolite is amazing! Great in taste and amazingly low in calories. Many people do not even know about it. I recommend it to anyone. I knew for a long time this place served boba drinks so went to try their mango boba. I usually order just regular regular milk tea boba but lately the caffeine has been getting to me. I've been coming to this place for YEARS!! They have 6 flavors which change daily. Out of the 6, 2 of them are always some sort of chocolate and vanilla. They have plenty of toppings to choose and if frozen yogurt is not your thing, they also serve ice cream. Sometimes when you walk in, they're making waffle cones...it smells soooo good! Fresh, crunchy waffle cone? Don't mind if I do! This family owned business has been here for a loooong time, at least since the early '90's. They have their regular customers that come in even when it's cold and raining outside (including me). That's saying a lot about the quality of their products. They even have have frozen yogurt dorks that call to see what their flavors of the day are (me again!). I hate when I have a froyo craving because I do not want to drive to Concord or Berkeley to get my Yogurtland fix. So.. my laziness leads me up to my local Yumygurt and I'm disappointed each time. I gave their plain tart a try - too watery. Their mochi is almost flavorless and has a weird texture to it. The second time I tried their vanilla - still too watery. I got it with sprinkles and the vanilla was changing color since the sprinkles were melting right into the yogurt! Not a good sign. I learned my lesson. Don't be lazy and make the drive to Yogurtland where your froyo tastes delicious, toppings are fresh, and most importantly, your froyo doesn't melt in your cup before you've even had a chance to pay. read more

Yumygurt a family owned establishment and the consistency of the products sold at this establishment are definitely high in quality. I'm glad that someone posted a review stating that the products they sell are from YoCream. I was able to google the company and find nutritional, ingredient and common allergen information - this was very helpful. With that said, some of my favorite flavors include: Berry Berry New York Cheesecake Pecan Praline Vanilla The frozen yogurt at this place is so good that I even go here when it's 35F degrees outside! Its my yogurt fix when I can't get to a "make it my way" foyo. I like that Yummygurt has the tart plain froyo, and the consistency of the yogurt is firm and dense enough to last on a nice hot day. There are days I find myself a little disappointed when I have my heart set on a flavor and it's not on their menu (b/c their flavors are in rotation for variety)- which could be a plus for many who want to try something new randomly, but I'm a creature of habit and when I have my favorite and I want my fix, I have my heart set. I have been to many frozen yogurt places and this one, i think is the best! It also has the added advantage of being the closest one to where I live! Staff is always friendly, lots of different flavors rotated. They also have smoothies and some ice cream to choose from. Prices are great (not sure how they stay in business)! Only complaint - on the RARE occasion I get a topping - its usually old and stale. I have a feeling most people don't order toppings often and therefore the toppings don't get rotated out with fresh ones. read more
