I love this place so many delicious dishes & friendly staff. I love getting the teriyaki chicken and the loco moco fyi they don't do scrambled eggs so im happy that instead they gave me another patty :) i was happy with that option.

By far one of the best spots to go to for Hawaiian food in the bay. We went here once when they first opened and have been coming back ever since. The food is quite flavorful and still has that exact same taste as I had before. This time we were lazy to get all separate plates and wanted leftovers for the next day so we decided to get the party platter. They really loaded it up with food and it was all so good.

We were disappointed that when we came on Saturday that when we took our grilled chicken home, I noticed that my chicken was burnt. As you can see, all the chicken look like this which is unacceptable. Unfortunately we were hungry and we didn't want to go take another trip back to the restaurant so we just ate it. It was kind of chewy and dried out because it was overcooked and burnt. If you order any of the grill meats, please check it before you leave so that if it's burnt then you can ask them to make you a new dish before you go home. I'll come back again but if this keeps happening then they will lose a customer.

I crave a Hawaii trip more than the average person and with the way my bank account is set up, I'm unable to go as often as I'd like.. Yummy House has saved me AND my wallet. The chicken katsu and BBQ beef plate with a spam musubi are my go to! I've only ordered for pick-up and haven't dined in, but the place is casual and friendly with quick service!

Good Hawaiian plates but not so great poke bowls. Decent lumpia - wish they gave some sauce to go with it. Ordered online and food was ready when they said it would be which is good. Pretty big portions with lots of meat. Wished there was more veg in the Hawaiian plates. Poke bowl was a bit too saucy and didn't feel like typical poke sauces. It was like mayo and teriyaki sauce. Also asked for less rice and it was still a lot! Flavors of the bowl overall just didn't sit well with us.

My new go-to ramen spot in the area. I've been here a few times now and the food never disappoints. Great portion size for the price. Love their fusion of noodles and Hawaiian food. The place is never too crowded, it's nice and clean, and their service is fast. Already recommending my friends here, yum!

I have to say, I was a bit skeptical at first because coming from SF and the Peninsula, finding a legit place for delicious ramen was difficult. I found out about them when I Door-dashed one day and fell in love with their garlic ramen. Came here again when the kids were craving ramen and they did not disappoint! My older son ordered a Poke meal and that too was yummy! They also have Hawaiian barbecue as well so it's nice to have options!

Food is yummy! Service is great, we usually order for take out and is ready pretty quickly. Place is clean, although we prefer take out.

Place is such a gem. Such great prices and good quality food. Was seating immediately and served within 10 minutes, paid $25 for a meal for me & my husband!! Can't beat it, definitely going to be my new goto spot. I tried to tokansu ramen & he got the chicken and rice bowl. Both were delicious.

Saw this place while we were driving to Sue's Kitchen to pick-up a to-go order. I quickly checked the reviews and bookmarked, so we came here for lunch this past Monday. We were the only ones here (which is a plus), but they just recently opened for the day. We were warmly greeted, seated and handed a menu. Ordered the following: - Poke Blend ($14 Salmon and Tuna on a bed of Whit Rice, Tobiko, Corn, Imitation Crab Meat, Cucumber, Edamame, Mixed Greens, Seaweed Salad and House Sauce) - BBQ Chicken Musubi ($6.49 two pieces) - Black Garlic Rame ($14.49 Roasted Pork, Fried Garlic, Kikueage, Boole Egg, Bamboo Shoots, Green Onion, Sprouts and Corn) - Tonkotsu Ramen ($13.49 Roasted Pork, Boiled Egg, Kikurage, Mushroom, Bamboo Shoots, Green Onion, Fish Cake and Sprouts) Pros: Both ramen were good with rich, bold, delicious broths that weren't too salty. The boiled eggs were perfectly cooked, and the rest of the ingredients provided a nice, even balance to the dish. I changed my order from regular Spam Musubi to their BBQ Chicken and glad I did. This one surprised me in a good way as the chicken was super tender and had a nice layer of fatty meat. I actually thought it was faux chicken at first, but it was nicely grilled. A little bit too much rice, though. But you can easily remove some of the rice to your preference so that you can have a better ratio of meat to rice in every bite. Cons: The Poke Blend was disappointing, but I shouldn't be surprised since I didn't heed my own advice. There were mostly Tuna than Salmon, and it was actually hard to find the Salmon. Also, the ratio of fish was disproportionately less compared to the whole dish. The "Crab" was not listed on their menu as imitation, but it was clearly imitation that lacks the proper nutrition. Also forgot my order of Green Tea, which I had to remind them. But overall, we enjoyed our meal. Even with the lapse in service, he was genuinely nice, friendly and engaging. Their other food options also looked promising, which requires another reason on returning.

Ramen noodles with layers of chicken, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, corn, hinese wood ear. The best soup broth I have ever tasted!

Wow, what a nice addition to the neighborhood! I have driven by and noticed this new place in the small strip mall across from the El Sobrante post office. I was very impressed with the menu and food. What drew me here initially was the fact that they have lumpia and I've been looking for a place close by that has decent lumpia. I was attracted to all the other things on the menu and decided to order a chicken Ramen, chicken Katsu curry, and lumpia to take home. I was very impressed by everything. The lumpia and chicken Katsu are deep-fried but were not greasy at all! They both had that nice deep fried crunch but tender and juicy on the inside. I was most impressed with the chicken Ramen. The Ramen noodles were of very good quality and the toppings hit the spot for my cravings for lots of vegetables. The Ramen bowl had a bit of Ramen noodles at the bottom, was topped with Chinese wood ear, delicious bamboo shoots that tasted home marinated rather than canned, bean sprouts, corn, and delicious marinated chicken slices that tasted like teriyaki. And the broth was out of this world! The broth was so rich and flavorful you can tell that it is homemade broth. I'm wanting more of their broth, it's so delicious! The service was excellent too. The guys were very friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going back !

Hidden gem in El Sobrante that serves up some of the best Laotian and Thai food in the Bay Area…read more Every time we visit, must-orders are the Nam Khao (crispy rice ball salad with fermented pork sausage and fresh herbs) and Ka Soy (Laotian noodle soup). If you see Nam Khao on the menu of a Laotian/Thai restaurant, that means they know what they are doing just because it's so labor-intensive to make a salad(!) and the fermented pork has to be damn-near perfect for this salad to really shine and round out the fresh herbs and seasonings which includes lime juice, vinegar, and fish sauce. Ka Soy (the noodle soup) is a comfort food enjoyed in Southeast Asia. It's not the Thai-style where it's a curry broth and the noodles are fried, so let's not get it mixed up. Instead, it's bone broth that been simmered for hours and it's somewhat a lighter broth. The noodles are wide rice noodles in a big bowl of hot broth served with a mixture of ground pork cooked down with tomatoes along with fresh bean sprouts, scallions, and cilantro - simply a divine noodle soup that a must-try. It's not overly complex in terms of flavor, but it's a bowl of good ol' noodle soup that is comforting and great-tasting. If you haven't tried Laotian food, give Sue's Kitchen a try. try some new flavors and you may just become a regular (if you aren't already). The owners are friendly too! I grabbed a burrito here and ate it inside the movie theater with the red salsa and lemon, and it was so good I ate the entire thing. For context, I'm pretty petite and I usually can't finish a full burrito--but this one? I couldn't stop. It was that good. Super flavorful, satisfying, and just hit the spot in a way I wasn't expecting. At first, I thought it was a little pricey, but once you get the burrito, it makes sense. It's dense, filling, and honestly a big burrito--you're getting your money's worth. I've already been recommending this place to my friends, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for genuinely good food. I'm excited to come back and try more items on the menu. So good. This was actually my first experience with Mongolian cuisine, so I was very interested to find out…read morewhat it's like. When we walked in, no staff was out front, so we stood around a bit before we were seated. The staff quickly disappeared again, and throughout our meal, they were usually disappeared somewhere in the back. If you want something quick like extra utensils or napkins, you may need to wait a bit before someone appears. When ordering, we wanted to try both the Beef Buzz ($14.99) and the Fried Beef Buzz ($15.99). The lady who took our order said they were the same thing, and offered to just give us one half/half order instead of ordering two of essentially the same dish. We agreed to that offer, but she didn't mention anything about how that'll be charged. Of course, we ended up being charged the higher price of $15.99. Not a huge deal, but some better communication there would've been appreciated. We also ordered the Beef Huushuur ($14.99). The Beef Huuchuur arrived first, and it didn't look anything like we expected. The photos from online reviews all looked it'd come in an empanada shape, but it actually came in a large, flat, circular shape. They were all laying against one another in a slanted position, and it made all the oil pool in the bottom of the dish, and the pieces that were covered became very oily and soggy underneath. The parts of the dough that weren't soggy were wonderfully crispy and delicious though. It'd make a significantly better difference if the Huuchuur were placed spread out from each other instead of lying on top of each other to maintain the crispiness on all surfaces. The beef filling was nicely seasoned and well flavored. The Beef Buzz had essentially the same filling as the Huuchuur, but different exterior. Unfortunately, I still have the same opinions of it being way too oily overall. The non-fried pieces sometimes broke apart at the bottom due to the sogginess. The fried version did not have a crispy texture at the bottom either, I'm guessing due to the excess amount of oil on the dish. Again, the flavors were great, but execution and presentation definitely has room for improvement. In summary, this was a great introduction to Mongolian dumplings for me. Very delicious flavors, and I'd love to try Huuchuurs again in the future because I love crispy fried foods with a good texture. However, I'd probably look for a place that goes way more easy on the oil.

I didn't realized it would be deep fried and oily as hell. In my defense, this is the first time I've had this type of dumplings. I heard that's the way it should be so it just wasn't for me. I did enjoy the other dumplings though.
