The falafel shawarma was very tasty and not dry like many places. Loved how they incorporate the mixed filings and sauces to layer the flavours a bit better. They don't have tahini or the other standard sauce options but it did not affect the flavour. I liked the spicy , curry based sauce they used. This is definitely a different take on shawarma from the other places in the area. I found service a tad bit slow. Also, If you want a falafel combo it is $13 + tax which is a bit expensive. That is closer to the cost of a falafel plate at most places. Not just a a wrap with some fries and a drink. I don't knock the hustle and I know business is tough out there. Will I be back ? A different type of Shawarma, but least they are open late when it matters. Not really anything distinctive from any other shawarma store on the Lawrence strip. Well priced, accommodating hours, neat storefront the few times I visited. Typical menu from plates, wraps, to burgers. The shawarma is different in the sense of a more curry-ish flavor/texture when compared to the typical drier meat you normally get shaved off the spit. In no way is it bad, but it's different and definitely worth a try. Personally was a bit too far from the flavors and style that I am used to, but tastes vary among everyone. Staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Their dill-yogurt-garlic dip sauce is amazing. I just ordered a Fries here. It was a little bit expensive for the amount that I was getting. A medium for $6. It was the Cavendish crispy coated fries. I noticed that they had lots of toppings for the burger and wraps. One of the better burgers I've had the privilege of eating. Let me explain why... First, proportions. The meat patty is larger than the bun. Yeah buddy! Plus it's a good burger. Second, toppings. In addition to the standard tomatoes and onions, they got items such as parsley. You only see stuff like that in the movies! Finally, the sauces. Love their falafel and chicken shawarma! Got that on the first time and it was a hefty package of food to eat! Keep napkins close by, there can be a saucy mess during the eating but it is soooo good! Even my carnivorous dad loved the falafel sandwich more than the chicken shawarma. They have their own house sauce that they use in their chicken shawarma sandwich which was very deep in flavour. The second time we ordered here, we got the falafel dinner and a queen burger. The queen burger tasted like the meat was a steakette -- not 100% ground beef? The falafel dinner had enough in it for more than one meal. We are looking forward to finishing up those leftovers -- hopefully our air fryer can bring back its original crispyness! A co-worker introduced me to Yummi's Burger recently. Four of us stopped in at lunch time. I had the King Burger with extra sauce (my friends raved about the sauce) with fries and it was fantastic! The burger was HUGE and I had to take half of it to-go. I saw a lot of people coming and going for their fries because, yes, just their fries are that good. We were in the area and hungry, luckily Yummi's had a great deal, 2 chicken shawarma for $12. The shawarmas were delicious, hot, and made fresh to order. The cook/cashier was funny and cheerful even at 9pm. U should definitely get the shawarma with hot sauce, gave it a kick I didn't even know I wanted. We also had some fries and he tossed on some garlic sauce and ketchup and parsley and it made a great combination. It was a bit pricy though, it had a similar amount of fries as a McDonald's medium but was $5. They're also open late until like 1 or 2am on Fridays and the weekends. One of the best Halal beef burgers in the GTA! Casual spot. We each ordered the "king" size burger combos with fries and pop, total came to $30 and we were stuffed because the patties are massive. I'll order the queen size next time...maybe. The patties are made of fresh ground beef that the owner started cooking after we ordered. Probably the best Halal Burger (I got the king burger with fries) in all of Toronto. It was a big burger and extremely tasteful. The bun was nice and crunchy but not too crunchy, the meat was savory, I personally put the fries in the burger for more kick and the fries are amazing alone as well. The white sauce is unbelievably delicious. I was in the states for 4 months and the whole time I was there I was craving a burger from there. One time I went at 11:20 pm and the place was packed! At that time of night!! The people are very friendly and whoever says otherwise is a jerk. First things first.. These burgers are ginormous!! And the size goes hand in hand with the taste. It's actually the best burger I've ever eaten. The patty is very large, hand made and cooked on a grill. The toppings are always fresh, the buns are large and fluffy and the SAUCE.. don't get me started, the sauce is a hand crafted mixture from the burger gods sent down to earth to give us a little taste of heaven! They have delicious fries, crispy on the outside soft on the inside. I believe it's priced accordingly to portion, quality and flavour. The restaurant is located very conveniently at Warden and Lawrence. They're open pretty late from what I remember. Took it home and found EVERYTHING EXCEPTTTT the topping I asked for.
