At first the woman was very nice, then she tried to talk me into just filing my nails a little and painting them. Once I said no her whole demeanor changed. She stopped speaking to me and began being very rough with my nails. She said she was going to soak them off but then proceeded to them off and everytime I pulled away she would just continue with being rough. By the end of it I just wanted out. My pinky nail hurts so bad along with my thumb nail due to the fact it was ripped and pulled too far down. One of my nails is bruised and I still have pieces of acrylic on my nails. The pictures don't even do them justice, I was hoping for a much better experience than the one I got. I will not be returning.

It ended up taking about 20 minutes, and then another eyebrow client was taken as well. After being there for around 40 minutes with my pedicure still not started, I canceled my other appointment for the evening and asked her to take whoever she needed so she wouldn't feel rushed with me. The technician was kind, and I tried to stay calm and make the best of it, but the pedicure itself felt rushed. My feet weren't cleaned as thoroughly as I would have liked, and there was a small cut that caused bleeding toward the end. On the positive side, my toes did come out really beautiful. The service was $30, which is very affordable, and I do think you get what you pay for. While I appreciated the friendliness, the overall experience wasn't as relaxing as I had hoped. I would like to come back but I most likely won't be back.

It's not as fancy as some other places I've been, but it's clean and the ladies that work there are really friendly. One of my biggest pet peeves about some nail places I've been to in the past is feeling rushed. Not so here. They take their time and are very attentive to the customer in front of them. Also they did my mani at a manicure table, not in the spa chair, which is always my preference. I am not a fan of a manicure in the spa chair. Last visit had a pedi (with flower), mani, and upper lip wax. $34.00 (not including tip). I couldn't get out of my old place, in my old town, for under $40.00 (not including tip) for just a pedi. Can't speak for acrylic nails since I don't have those, but I am very pleased with the service I have received so far.

My Husband and I have been wanting to get pedicures for awhile now so i did some research on what to look for while trying to decide on a location to get these services done. I read about customer service and the biggest one of all, SANITATION. The worst thing you want to do is get an infection while all you want is to be pampered. So i found Yumi's. I read all of the great reviews left by other customers and i also looked through the pictures. So i decided to check it out for myself. They were very welcoming and i felt right at home which isnt really a vibe you get at most nail shops.They used fresh equipment right from the package and everything was sterilized. Helen did my Husbands pedi and she put him to sleep! Susan did mine and let me tell you! She took very good care of me. And she also conversated with me which is a major plus. They treated us like royalty. I seriously did not expect to be taken care of the way i was today. They even provided us with waters and wine!! I am so happy with the end result and i will be going back as a regular. Im even going to take my Mom along with me and shes so excited. Thank You Yumi, for your kind hospitality and amazing staff. I have been looking for Yumi for over a year since she left Diva nails! After not knowing where she went, I have tried many different nail spas and was never satisfied. I'm so glad I head she opened her own shop from my friend. I came right away. Yumi is the sweetest and is always welcoming. She really cares about how satisfied and happy you are about the way your nails turn out. She listens to what you want and keeps you entertained. She doesn't just act like she cares, she actually does. Yumi is so good at what she does! Not only does she excel at doing nails, but she walks around while other nail techs are doing your nails and makes sure they are perfecting it to the way you want them!!! How much more confident can you be about having your nails come out perfect? Also, her prices are very manageable. This is my second visit and I'm very impressed! The ladies is nice and professional. I love my mani and pedi. Yumi also did an excellent job on my eyelashes and I'm amazed by how natural it looked. One thing though is the man at front desk is sorta disrespectful because when I went to pay he was just on his phone for like a few minutes before realizing I was there. The only reason I'm giving a five star because of how beautiful the nails is but please next time I recommend to the guy at the front desk to be more aware that there are customers and it's rude to be on his phone the whole time. read more

first time here. took long because when the owner walked in another girl was doing my nails and she stopped her and was teaching her how to do it right, which I'm glad. kinda pricey but whatever it's worth it. don't like how they didn't take the small little drill and go under my nails to file them down a little and take bits of the acrylic off under my nail. other than that I love my nails. the olace is suuuuper cute. This is the best nail salon I've ever been to! I got acrylics with dried flowers and they are absolutely gorgeous. My mother, who can be quite picky, got a French tip gel and a pedicure and she loved the entire experience. I called In before coming and was very straight forward in needing someone who was going to do my nails that was great, (because I am VERY picky). John was absolutely AMAZING! I needed a pedicure and came here after reading reviews about Susan. She did an amazing job. She takes her time with your feet and removes and dead skin, cuticle and gives a wonderful massage. The woman who did my service was nice and quiet. I'm not generally a chatty person when I'm getting something done somewhere so I had my headphones on watching dramas. She was gentle with my hands which I appreciated. I've been some places where my wrist hurts afterwards. The only questions she asked was how short to cut them and if I liked the shape. The shape is different than what I came in with but it doesn't look bad. They have a bit more of a rounded apex when you look for the side and I like them more flat but it's not a big deal. It's just preference. I also got my eyebrows waxed. There's a small room right are the beginning of the hallway that is overcrowded for its size but serves its purpose. She was quick and efficient with my eyebrows. No complaints. The general feel of the place of slightly crowded because they have a lot of stations and pedicure chairs. The staff that didn't have clients were just scattered around doing their own thing. It seems like a nice place. Calm.
