Craving a good dessert after dinner, the family and I head down the street to the Village at Allen. I was hoping for Cold Stone, but my wife talked me into the new yogurt shop. Well, I figured now I can bash it because I've tried it. Well, apparently that wasn't the case because I was honestly blown away. As you walk in, you expect to see a generic counter with all the yogurt machines behind it. Not here, with it's modern decor where all the machines are incorporated into one large wall, with an LCD screen above each displaying the flavors being dispensed. Unsure of what flavor you want, or curious how each tastes? Sample cups are provided. The toppings counter is loaded with lots of fresh fruit, as well as kiddie favorites like M&M's, caramel cups, gummy bears, etc. My favorite flavors are the "tart" flavors. The first one I sampled was the coconut tart, and I couldn't believe how flavorful it was. It was like it was made out of fresh coconuts. "Tart" is kind of misleading, as I think this just implies that they do not heap mounds of sugar on the yogurt. Since I was sharing my bowl, in the end I opted for a New York Cheesecake yogurt topped with strawberries and raspberries. The fruit toppings are surprisingly fresh. This has got to be some of the best frozen yogurt I have had in a while. In addition to being really good, it is relatively healthy as well (as long as you don't pile on caramel cups like I'm tempted to). read more

I've been to Yumilicious before so I knew I was not going to be disappointed, but when I went to this location - they had some really great flavors, I was super impressed. I loved their tart avocado flavor, it was super creamy and had a fresh flavor! They also had a mango habanero flavor that was sweet, fragrant, and had a little bite to it that was something I'd never experienced in a frozen yogurt before. The service was great too - we were greeted immediately upon entering and were personally handed sample cups. Usually when I go into frozen yogurt places, I never get a sample cup and this was a pleasant surprise and helped me really get down to choosing the right flavors :) Their fruit toppings were super fresh and even their cheese cake and brownie bite toppings looked pristine - yanno... how sometimes the toppings can look really tossed around... but not here! I took my three year old nephew here, and it was a great trip. They had multiple types of different yogurts (not just the typical vanilla and chocolate). My favorite was actually cake batter, which is odd because I never had been a big fan of cake batter ice cream at some ice cream places. Here the cake batter just worked well, it was creamy like yogurt should be, but not as "fake" cake tasting I normally expect of "exotic" yogurt flavors, or as rich (as in too much) as cake batter ice cream is. This was good stuff. The other flavors I tried and tasted were also good. They have way to many toppings, and for an ADHD kid/adult like myself it makes it hard for me to pick. Basically though, the toppings taste like they should, so I won't get into that. Just don't get carried away. Think about what toppings you want and how it will mix with the flavor yogurt. For future reference, cake batter with cookie dough was ok, cake batter with cheesecake pieces and marshmallow was not. I like that you dictate all the choices, and than they charge you by the overall weight no matter what is in it. I somehow managed to get mine over 4x the cost of my nephews, but than again he is 3 and I'm 26, so maybe it makes sense. This place was great, and while this may just be the next fad now that cupcakes are going out, I still like it and will be back here next time I visiting the area. read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars because I was really impressed. I've tried two other froyo places like this and was disappointed. Yogurtland in Carrollton was one of those places that everyone raves about, but I wasn't impressed. The flavors are REALLY good. I got the Taro tart, Avocado tart, Cake Batter, and Red Velvet. The tarts had just the right amount of tartiness. The Cake Batter was awesome. The Red Velvet was my least favorite, but was still pretty good. They had the same toppings other places have. All the fruit looked fresh. I had never really understood the whole yogurt thing until now. It makes me want to try out other places, but I will definitely be going back to this place. read more

Brought my kids in for the third time in a few weeks because they love some unique flavors. Also a huge fan of the mango tea with bursting boba, must try! This spot is now a favorite. Always clean and the toppings are fresh. It is small inside but friendly and calm. The staff are supper friendly!!! The tall boy at the front, I dont recall his name (I think it starts with an M) was very sweet, polite and extra helpful when we had questions about flavors and toppings, kid friendly - my kiddos call him "friend" now. First frozen yogurt shop experience since TCBY about 5-10 years ago, although tried a bite of pinkberrys in NYC last month... Anywho, yummy, great concept of getting to mix your own & do your own toppings & then pay for as gluntenious as you are that day! Although this place is good the pricing is ridiculous. I got 2 medium sized cups with a few toppings and ended up costing me $17! Ive been to other yogurt places and the most i spent was 5-6$ for 1 cup. Its like they charged me for the cup and then the yogurt and then toppings. Just crazy! As soon as i left i said i would NOT come back to this place anymore and i will not recommend it if you dont like spending a lot of money for a snack. By far my favorite yogurt place. I use to work here and the owners are some of the most dedicated people I know. They keep the place perfect and always have the most pleasant people working. The yogurt is always a perfect consistency and the topping counter is always clean. The avocado yogurt is definitely my favorite but I also suggest the pecan praline. If they offered more flavors and toppings, they could easily earn my 5 star rating. They change flavors very often so you never know what will be there. While this is good in that you get to try more stuff over time...it can be bad if your favorite flavor isn't there the next time you go. I know some of their other locations have more machines and thus more flavors available so that's why this location loses a star from me. Yummlicious is way better than the nearby Yogurtville. Yogurtville had more toppings to choose from but when comparing similar flavors...Yummilicious blew them away on every one. Their tart flavors are amazing. I love tart yogurt. If I want sweet then I'll go get ice cream instead. Their original tart flavor is solid...as good as Pinkberry. They only had one tart fruit flavor available when I was there, blueberry, and it was also delicious. Personally I'm not a blueberry fan so I would have preferred a different fruity tart flavor but for what it was, it was great. There are a few times I would go to Yumilicious. It is not really the go-to froyo location, but it was the closest "desert" place open in this area that my friends and I knew about, so we came here. You get a 10% off discount for checking in on Yelp... which is NOT BAD! The froyo is self- explanatory. Whatever flavor is up on the board is what the frozen yogurt tastes like, but some how, they all kind of taste the same, lol. The environment, however, was for a much smaller group of people. Maybe a date, or just a talk with 4-5 people because that is how the chairs are designed. The outside has more spaces to sit around but there were mainly benches and cement borders. The Mango yogurt hurt my throat, I had to throw it away after a few bites. My throat had a tingling and almost burning feeling 10 minutes after only eating a small amount. I have never had any type of Mango yogurt do this before. I am very disappointed to say the least. read more

The place is nice and clean. There's a decent amount of yogurt choices, and I like how they have screens that show the nutritional information. Toppings have always looked fresh and are always full. This was froyo shop number two for the fam's "Checking Out the Yogurt" tour. We have since tried 4 other froyo shops and I wasn't sure what to rank this one but the description of two stars as "Meh. I've experienced better" is right on. I have. Lots of flavors available. One in particular comes to mind, Avocado. As I prefer my avocados mushed up with fresh salsa and cilantro, I passed. The ambiance was on the chaotic, high energy side so we chose to eat outside. Great when it was still warmer, but not so much when it's 45 degrees. read more

Compared to yogurtville it would get a one star. On it's own however it gets three I mainly appreciate the kids area, especially when you are out with friends. I also enjoy how it is in the village which makes it easier to pick up after mooyah. I do not like how it seems less thick than other frozen yogurt places. I don't like how the seating is so close to the dispensing area. There is no room to move, and the line for dispensing is hard to tell apart from the pay line. read more

This fro-yo shop is located in the Villages of Allen (south side of Stacy @ 75). It's super clean, spacious and have a good selection. I tried the Strawberry Shortcake flavor and it was creamy, not tart and had good consistency. I also got the Avocado Tart (labeled fan favorite) and it was surprisingly good too. The hubby got the Vanilla, they only had "no-sugar added" vanilla, which we typically do not do, because well.... if you're gonna eat bad, you might as well go all the way lol. He really liked his too and added fruity pebbles and raspberries. We went on a weeknight and we glad to see they were still open at 9pm, as they close at 10pm on weeknights. Extended hours on weekends. I would recommend to stop here if you have a sweet tooth and are in the area. read more

I love this place. It's a great endorphin picker upper. The price is ok but I love the setup and colors. Enough about the view. The yogurt satisfied the cravings I had from a Hawaii chain called Yami yogurt. My combo here is the avocado topped with mochica and white chocolate chips :) and of course, I pick the green spoon. My kids love it. I love it. Yogolicious loves it because it's priced by weight. It's not like you can say hey can you please remove an ounce of the yogurt and two pieces of Mochi? I've been to many yogurt places and has tried many different flavors as well. I would say this is my fav place to go b/c I like the texture and flavor of their yogurt. If you know yogurt then you know the best is the original. The best yogurts has the perfect texture that is not too watery. I always get the original w/mango toppings! Brand names aren't the best its the product that really counts. Just a heads up not all Yogilicious is good just this location. ;-) read more

Lots of different froyo flavors to choose from. Not too sweet and not too bland. Great balance of flavor. There's many toppings to choose from including mochi. The toppings bar is constantly being cleaned and never messy. Best place for froyo in my opinion. read more
