I was craving a Vietnamese coffee and wanted to try a new place. Stopped by here and definitely glad we did. I got 3 chocolate drinks for my boys, got my daughter a Thai tea with boba and of course my Vietnamese coffee! Everything was delicious! I forgot to take a photo of the drinks since I went straight to devouring mine and so did my kids lol. I also, got the cutest glass cup for free with my purchase and some raffle tickets as well. Service was great the gentleman and young lady working were very kind. The place is very clean and such a perfect spot for photo ops. I'll definitely be back soon! read more

Love this little boba shop tucked away behind Starbucks. I stumbled in there and found a truly unique boba shop. They're a dime a dozen here. Their menu sets them apart. I tried the rose tea and apple zing today. Love their fun flavors! Their customer service is amazing as well! I truly felt they were helping me customize my tea exactly the way I wanted. Me and my wife decided to come back the next day! We were so excited to try the pandon flavor drinks and maybe something new as well. My wife asked if they can make a matcha pandan smoothie with Aloe Vera and she said of course! So excited to have seen the pandan smoothie on the menu too! Today, we also ordered the lychee breeze with black tea. They were both refreshing but, my wife loved the pandan matcha smoothie with Aloe Vera and extra sweet. We love this place, will definitely tell ours friends/family and will most certainly return as loyal customers!!!!! Great service and plenty of parking!! read more

Always the perfect Thai milk tea!! The service is always great, the owners always there when me and my dad swing by for our tea time, and he makes it so personal chatting up with us. It's bright and happy inside the shop too! I visited Yum Cha last week with my daughter. It is very cute and clean inside. We were greeted warmly by the friendly girl behind the counter and a very pleasant and attentive man I assumed to be the owner. They have a huge selection of drinks on the menu here! They have all sorts of teas, coffees, sparkling drinks, and a fun seasonal items menu! The owner was kind enough to ask questions about what we like and offered some recommendations. He even gave us some samples of his delicious coffee to try. He gave us the sweetened version- which was some of the best coffee I've had, as well as just the black unsweetened coffee, which was super strong, perfect for those who love strong coffee. I ordered a honeydew which is my favorite drink at the tea spot I normally go to, and this one was just as good or even better! My daughter had the matcha with boba and she said the boba was the best she has had. One thing I really appreciated is that they asked us what level of sweetness we wanted for each of our drinks. I think this is great because perhaps someone wants just a touch of sweetness as opposed to sweet or super sweet. To top off our great experience we were even given a cute little tote bag! I know we have a lot of tea places in town, but this one stands out from the rest. We will definitely be returning to try more of their yummy drink creations! read more

my first impression was that the boba shop is very clean and updated. it's located in a small shopping center near the freeway with plenty of parking. the man behind the counter was patient and very helpful. this is our first time here and we appreciated that we could ask all the questions and he wasn't annoyed with us. we ordered the purple haze and hanoi velvet at 100% sweet with boba. there was a huge difference in sweetness between the two drinks. the hanoi was VERY sweet and the haze wasn't sweet at all. I didn't enjoy the topping- i'm not sure if the boba had been sitting all day but the texture was off and the flavor was bland. boba topping was mushy and missing that chewiness of typical boba topping. if the man wasn't nice, i wouldn't come back. read more

What especially stood out to me was being told "sorry you felt you had a bad experience," because I didn't just feel like I had a bad experience -- I did. If caring about ingredients, transparency, and customer service means we're "not for everyone," then I think this response speaks for itself.

I know this isn't something anyone should expect, which makes us appreciate it even more. He didn't have to go to those lengths, but he did, and it truly made our day. This was, without a doubt, the best service we've ever received at any Tastea, and honestly, some of the best customer service we've experienced anywhere. If you want a tea with extras such as Lift-Off or shakes with Prolessa-Duo, these are additional costs so keep that in mind. Yes, health is an investment but I will make sure to bring my products with me from now on!

Yum Cha was fantastic! Tony was great - kind, personable, and made our drinks perfectly. The service was excellent, and the place is clean and welcoming. The Thai tea tasted authentic, just like what you'd get in Thailand. The matcha pandan was so yummy - and honestly, I've never seen a boba spot offer this here. There are plenty of tables, so finding somewhere to sit wasn't an issue. Most of the outlets were already occupied, though, so I'd keep that in mind if you're specifically coming here to work or study. Despite the size of the space and number of people, it was surprisingly quiet during my visit, which made it a comfortable place to get some work done. Overall, I liked the atmosphere and amount of space, but the drinks were more average for me. I'd come back to try something else, especially if the smoke issue isn't typical.
