A long overdue review of this stunning live orchid arrangement I gave to my partner for his 50th Birthday. I never gave a man a flower arrangement and now takes care of it like it's his child. As a joke, he calls it his "white elephant gift", (A white elephant is a possession that its owner cannot dispose of, and whose cost, particularly that of maintenance, is out of proportion to its usefulness.) I know he loves it though and has a very strange sense of humor! ​I consider Yukiko more of an artist with a flair for floral rather than a florist! Her creativity and talent were​ so apparent with the arrangements she designed for us. She was so helpful in helping to shape our visions and giving us different options to stay within budget. We initially met her with few ideas other than an Ikebana design with Birds of Paradise. She was generous with her time, listened to us, and provided helpful suggestions. She is honest and did not try to pressure us to spend more or go over our budget. Our guests remarked throughout​ the day of how beautiful​ the arrangements were. Even the photos do not adequately capture how beautiful the arrangements turned out. I tend to give them a budget and let them create; this approach has always produced the best results for me. They will do their best to deliver on time, even with short notice, and they will tell you if there is no way they can make it happen. I received THE most beautiful, fresh, artistically designed flower arrangement as a gift for my birthday party a week ago today. It was breathtakingly-designed with amazing, unique flowers. I immediately made it the central focus of the main party room. Multiple guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. In the past week, I've moved the arrangement from room-to-room so I can enjoy it wherever I'm spending time. A full week later the flowers are still fresh.
