A long overdue review of this stunning live orchid arrangement I gave to my partner for his 50th Birthday. I never gave a man a flower arrangement and now takes care of it like it's his child. As a joke, he calls it his "white elephant gift", (A white elephant is a possession that its owner cannot dispose of, and whose cost, particularly that of maintenance, is out of proportion to its usefulness.) I know he loves it though and has a very strange sense of humor! I am a very selective designer myself and have ordered flowers from so many other resources only to have been disappointed with their lack of freshness, style, flower selection, and arrangements. I wanted something unique, live, masculine and gorgeous, and found it with Yukiko's designs. I will continue to order all future arrangements from Yukiko and her super sweet husband who answers the phone and arranges everything! Thanks you so much for your fine artistry! read more

I called Yukiko looking for a unique Ikabena (Japanese style) arrangement as a thank you gift for a friend in Tiburon. The stems I hoped for were out of season but she made a gorgeous, sculptural arrangement that wasn't just similar, but even better. She's a true artist (and participates in many local and SF art shows), yet her prices are just as affordable as any traditional florist. My friend loved the arrangement and I'm just jealous I don't have one for myself. Yukiko is amazing! read more

I selected Yukiko, as my mother in law has impeccable taste and I wanted to impress her with an elegant design. As you will see in her response below, she LOVED IT!!! The flowers are magnificent. Huge arrangement, very artistically arranged. All kinds of beautiful flowers, roses, hydrangeas , orchids, and many others. The biggest and most beautiful you have ever sent me - and there were many other beautiful arrangements you sent me over the years. Love it - love it - love it I was going to text you immediately- but i had to do my crying - you touched my heart deeply. So loving, thoughtful, considerate. The card that accompanied the flowers was written from the bottom of your heart - sensitive, thoughtful, loving! I will be looking at these flowers for days and thinking of you. read more

There was a flow of good service in determining arrangement, price and history of Yukiko's Floral Design.

The best! Their arrangements are incredible artforms...Yukiko's is one of the true jewels of Marin...

Yuki's is hands down the best florist in Larkspur! My family and I have been loyal customers for years, and the care and attention to detail are unmatched. Even when ordering from Minnesota to send bouquets to family in California, Yuki always makes sure the arrangements are gorgeous, thoughtful, and perfect for the occasion. Other florists sometimes cut corners on out-of-state orders, but Yuki never does. Every bouquet feels personal and special. Highly recommend this gem of a small business -- you won't be disappointed! read more

I called Yukiko's Floral Design on Tuesday, June 8th to order a bouquet for some dear friends. I asked her for suggestions of an arrangement that would last longer than a week for the money we were going to spend. Yukiko gave me some options with explanations and I told her to just use her imagination as if these were going to her friends. She told me she would go to the flower market the next day to pick out the flowers and would have them delivered the following day. Our friends were surprised and delighted by the arrangement. Thank you Yukiko for making this gorgeous arrangement and delighting our friends. We appreciate your skills. Definitely recommend Yukiko's Floral Design Studio. read more

Absolutely stunning arrangements. I wish I could find a florist like you in Los Angeles. Artistic, beautiful and creative. I have never been more impressed by how creative and unique the arrangements are. If I had a wedding.. I would order from them for sure. I had to find them via google maps.. so worth it, after having 2 cancellations from online florists of which I had no idea..that they were flower brokers.. Keep it local.. order from Yukiko, and get quality, beauty and kindness! Thank You so very much. read more

What a wonderful experience with this florist! I wanted to send my mother a special bouquet of flowers for her 75th birthday, but being out of town was not familiar with local florists in her area. I called Yukiko after seeing the lovely arrangements on her website, and spoke with a very helpful gentleman who assured me Yukiko could provide what I needed, and deliver the arrangement that same day. Yukiko called me back to discuss the arrangement, and I told her I was happy to have her design something of her choosing; the beautiful bouquet pictured here was the result. My mother -- an artist, with a keen eye for design and detail -- absolutely loved it, calling it "sensual and sophisticated". The next time I send my mom flowers, I will absolutely contact Yukiko for another of her gorgeous creations! read more

I needed to order a bouquet of flowers for my daughter's 50th birthday on the day of. I had called a couple of other florists in her town since I live in so cal and nobody could deliver that day. Yukiko was so sweet and delightful. When I described what my daughter's taste was, she knew exactly what to do. And the arrangement was BEAUTIFUL and perfect! And delivered that afternoon even though she was in a floral show in San Francisco that day! Thanks Yukiko! read more

Today I received the most exquisite bouquet from Yukiko's Floral Design Studio. The originality and the artistry, of the design and the flowers, were amazing. And here is the "attention to detail" that is so note-worthy; Yukiko called me in advance, to make sure that someone would be home for the delivery during these extremely hot days. I will be keeping Yukiko's card for future use!! What a treasure. read more

I called in a desperate order at 4:30, 1 1/2 hours before they closed. An online service had screwed up my order, and would not make my partner's birthday as a result! Yukiko's took my order over the phone and delivered a beautiful bouquet to my door in time to save me from embarrassment! Thank you, and will always use you folks from now on. read more

I wanted something special for our anniversary and Yukiko created a unique and beautiful arrangement that was spectacular. Thank you Yukiko!

Gorgeous arrangements! Yukiko's is the perfect florist for something original and artistic as well as traditional, with an added special touch of true aesthetic. This is a wonderful florist to work with. I have ordered several things from Yukiko and the experience is always top notch. Her caring customer service is something we don't see much of anymore. She makes the client feel important and spends the time to get just the right thing for the occasion. I will use her again and again. Even though she is in Marin she delivers to San Francisco as well. I recommend her highly. Thanks, Yukiko! read more

Very nice arrangement and excellent, friendly service! Will use them again!

I'm a little late in my review as Yukiko processed my special request earlier in the year. I'd like to reiterate the comments already expressed on Yelp that Yukiko produces EXCEPTIONAL arrangements for any of your needs. I have seen first hand Design Studios' magic when created amazing flower art ranging from family wedding flowers, to hospitality/commercial use to "surprising the girlfriend" -- all of which knocks their socks off. As a guy that knows next to ZILCH about flowers, Yukiko can take your basic needs and goals and come up with something lovely that fits your budget. HIghly recommended. read more

The absolute best most artistic florist, have received her arrangements twice and both times,so nice!

We were pleased to know Yukiko could arrange delivery to San Geronimo. We ordered an Ikebana style arrangement which the recipient said was "stunning". The website includes photos as a starting point. Yukiko then lets you know what is in season for her to customize your order. Yukiko's is the answer if you are looking for something out of the ordinary. Good value for creative, fresh floral arrangements. read more

I consider Yukiko more of an artist with a flair for floral rather than a florist! Her creativity and talent were so apparent with the arrangements she designed for us. She was so helpful in helping to shape our visions and giving us different options to stay within budget. We initially met her with few ideas other than an Ikebana design with Birds of Paradise. She was generous with her time, listened to us, and provided helpful suggestions. She is honest and did not try to pressure us to spend more or go over our budget. Our guests remarked throughout the day of how beautiful the arrangements were. Even the photos do not adequately capture how beautiful the arrangements turned out. If we lived in the Bay Area, I would use Yukiko for any event! She is truly an artist at work. read more

Beautiful idiosyncratic arrangement, just right for the occasion! I was able to make a last minute same day order, and get delivery as well!

I used Yukiko based on Yelp reviews, because I live in Seattle. My mother in law just called to say it was the most beautiful bouquet she has ever received, which is saying a lot. These are not flower arrangements, these are works of art. Truly a talented artist. I have been ordering arrangements from Yukiko for a number of years, in every instance the recipient was amazed and delighted with the unique quality, beauty and longevity of the arrangement. If you don't like what you see on the site, tell them what your intentions are and they will create an arrangement that reflects your intent. If there were more stars I would give them to this flower studio! Simply the nicest folks and best floral design studio in the Bay Area. read more

Great place, fresh flowers, and good arrangements. They are friendly and do their best to satisfy the customer. I tend to give them a budget and let them create; this approach has always produced the best results for me. They will do their best to deliver on time, even with short notice, and they will tell you if there is no way they can make it happen. You might not like that but I would rather know than think it will happen and be surprised. I will definitely use them again. read more
