Why should I the customer be part if finding a solution in the first place? The solution is simple. Don't offer up a bunch of excuses why you cant deliver the product which was a sympathy bouquet for a deceased friend. Maria did nothing short of magic with the floral for my wedding and I strongly recommend her amazing work! About 3 weeks until my wedding date I had to make the very painful and difficult decision to part ways with the florist that I had been counting on because she was proving extremely unreliable. I was in a mad scramble. My wedding was in a rustic location and the floral was an important component to making everything come together. I was reaching out to florists across Marin trying to find someone who could produce the look that I had planned on, work within my budget, oh... and that was willing to jump in and get up to speed quickly! After talking with about 4 potential florists I chose Wildflower because Maria took extra time to listen to what I wanted and made certain that she understood my needs, was very clear on how she would approach the work and then was able to creatively and quickly partner with me. She was able to point out suggestions, provide recommendations and help me feel secure and supported throughout the process. Then, on the day of the wedding, Maria delivered more than I even hoped for. Due to my budget I didn't think I would get nearly as many gorgeous peonies as I did but she skillfully placed them where they mattered most, she fit in the gorgeous little pops of blue just as we had discussed, sprigs of lavender on the plates, all these little touches that made the entire look turn out to be exact right amount of warm-welcoming-yet-add-a-little-sophistication that I wanted. As a professional event director, I am extremely extremely picky..unfortunately when you are planning your own wedding the expectations are high but the budget is low. After weeks of researching and filling out many florist questionnaires, I found my dream florist! Maria, was extremely kind and receptive not only on our initial call but all through the wedding planning process. She hunted down vases that looked exactly like what I had pinned but for far less. She was easy to reach over email, open to feedback and extremely kind. You can tell she just loves what she does. After many years of dealing with vendors, I can tell you that Maria is top notch..works within your budget, easy breezy to work with, and does exceptional work. I placed an order, for a dear client, to be delivered today and it didn't live up to the image on the website. The owner explained that she used "garden roses to compensate for the missing accent flowers.." I attached a photo of what was delivered. The roses are wilting and I see some tiny tears. In my opinion there's no "wow factor". I just called and spoke to the owner, reaching out to express my disappointment. She was rude and insulting. She bluntly asked "what would you like me to do because it seems like you're not understanding what I'm saying.." I understood perfectly, just wasn't buying her excuse. I spent over $80 for 8 roses and some "greenery". I was comfortable with the price because it was delivered same day and I wanted to shop locally. Disappointed in the final product. I didn't call for a refund, I called as a courtesy to give honest feedback. Instead of apologizing, she was dismissive and disrespectful. I regret giving this place a chance. read more

Maria did such an amazing job with the flowers for my Wedding. She completely exceeded my expectations. One of the best memories from that day was walking into our reception and seeing the work Maria had done -- the most beautiful flower arrangements I had ever seen. She did a long garland of greenery for our head table and hydrangea arrangements for individual guest ones. She totally over-delivered on all of the bridesmaids bouquets, and mine too.
