I was new to the whole microblading thing back in 2018 and met Meg when she used to work at another business. I made an appointment with her and she instantly made me feel comfortable, like at home. It was like we had been friends for a long time. She's real, honest, funny, easy to talk to, professional and just so likable. I've naturally got very sparse eyebrows and when I walked out of there, I absolutely loved how she transformed them. She did the first touch up about a month or so later and I did not maintain them after that. Fast forward 3 years later, I'm trying to find a comparable micro blading technician as I had lost touch with Meg. I wrote my positive review after my first microblading session with Dani. Unfortunately, after the follow-up session I have been highly disappointed in my eyebrows. Dani recommended that I add some shading to my microbladed brows. They turned out way too dark for my skin tone and so I had to get a saline tattoo removal session from an experienced aesthetician to tone down the ghastly color. I am going in once again later this month to remove more of the color. Each session is $200. I suggest to those thinking about getting microblading/shading done to do your research and find an artist that has more experience and uses higher quality ink before committing. I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. I was reluctant to post a negative comment but I wanted to educate others so that they don't make the same mistake as me. read more

I was always super hesitant to get my brows micro bladed. I spent the late 90s and early 2000s plucking my brows away not to come and get caterpillars tattooed on my face. Meg is AWESOME! She listened to what I wanted: keep my shape, even them out, fill in the bald spots and make them a little thicker. I am in LOVE! She gave me my brows but wayyyyy better. They're so natural looking. I wake up in the morning looking fresh, eyebrows make such a difference. My girlfriends all love them and two are going to get theirs done too. I had my brows microbladed by Megan and I am beyond happy with the results. Megan is so good at what she does. She is thorough in explaining the process, aftercare, what to expect during the healing process, and makes her clients feel so comfortable during the appointment. I was a bit curious about Nano brows and micro-blading and micro-shading and all the stuff they do as I have had very light/ barely there eyebrows since high school. I've tried watching videos on how to do eyebrows (I even made it a Covid goal to learn how to apply brows/ failed) but I don't have the time or the patience (or the steady hand/ know-how) and so I just leave the house with my faint brows. My friends and I heard about micro-blading and I quickly started doing research and found Jess Hom. This girl is a true artist and dare I say it... genius? For years and years I've envied friends brows and now I have great brows of my own. Jess was great, easy to communicate with and very very friendly. Her pricing is reasonable (she gives you a free touchup when you do the Nano Brows and shading $600), the location is easy to get to and adorable inside. The whole place is covered in beautiful greenery so you're calm and oxygenated during your session. Jess explained every part of the session with me so I knew what was happening, she apply multiple layers of numbing cream so the experience isn't as painful as a tattoo. I just can't believe the results, it looks so real (and perfect), it looks like I know how to apply impressive eyebrows! Last night I spent hours sending before and after pictures to friends. I wish I could give more stars... I have never done any sort of permanent makeup, but I was always curious. A friend in the beauty industry recommended I talk to Megan just to get a sense of what to expect, and I am SO glad I did. During the virtual consultation (which was free and super informative) she walked me through the process and was not at all pushy. I wasn't sure I wanted to do it, but after talking to her, I was so excited. The actual process was way easier than anticipated. Megan explained the process thoroughly again before we started and then with every step, she explained what she was doing. I've heard that Microblading can be painful, but it honestly wasn't with Megan, because she was so receptive to my tolerance levels and we took tons of breaks. Megan is the kind of artist who will tell her clients her honest, informed opinion. I went in with an idea of what I wanted and she made some suggestions and we came to a consensus about how to get the perfect result. She never pressured me, and was super patient. What we landed on was honestly so much better than I ever imagined. If you are considering getting your brows done, STOP LOOKING. Megan is the answer! She's versatile and professional.
