He had no objection to us having our mechanic doing an inspection before deciding to buy. We were looking for a vehicle to suit our particular needs. My husband recently became disabled. Our Jeep was not roomy enough to accommodate, and difficult to load a wheelchair. We decided that a minivan would meet our requirements. I worked my way down the street, stopping at a number of used car dealers. I found a few minivans that turned out to be junk. And dealers failed to provide an online car report, which is an immediate deal breaker. Evidence of accident damage was glossed over by other used car dealers. Phil doesn't put junk on his lot. He readily provided an online report. Shop there first. We love our new (used) van!

Lots of respect for the sales team that worked hard to win my business, special shoutout to Edgar Diaz for making this experience monumental for us and for not making me feel pressured to buy. I recommend Harvest Honda for their professionalism, respect, and dedication that their employee's put in to making their customers feel validated! From their sales team to their service Department they have been there for us each step of the way. A BIG Thank You! to Harvest Honda for not only making my car shine but also making my spirits & smile shine! I can't say enough about this company because it's always been a dream of mine to drive out of a dealership with a brand new car and they were part of making that possible. My expectations bar is high that being said this purchase was not made in a compulsive or spontaneous manner it was based on my needs I needed a dependable vehicle that was good on gas and that I could rely on to get me back and forth to work while breaking necks as they turn to check out my new ride. I was tired of buying used cars and having to throw thousands of dollars to remedy underlying conditions that their previous owners left me struggling to repair. I had visited several dealerships across Yakima, Tri-cities, Seattle and Oregon before making my decision to follow through with Harvest Honda. What scared me away from other dealerships were their sales tactics, I perceived their persistency as rude, pushy, and aggressive. Our salesperson at harvest Honda was informative about the vehicles they had on stock and didn't harass us or make us feel obligated to buy he was just happy to talk about cars and left a good impression on us, he gave us his card and we told him we would give him a call when we were ready, that is why we went back! thank you for being a part of this moment. This establishment is known for its positive feedback from its customers, good attitudes, its commitment in regards to customer satisfaction and its impact on the community dating back to when it was Bob Hall's. For years I would visit this dealership and talk to their employees some of them friends I went to high school with such as Armando Barbosa, Jared, about my dreams of one day being able to buy a car and drive it out of their showroom floor. A really big shout out to our lord and savior Jesus Christ for listening to our prayers and answering them. God has perfect timing my son had been letting me use his car to go back and forth to work for a couple of weeks until I got my transportation issue sorted out and the next day after picking up my civic he received a call to come in and start work. Praise God! Disclaimer: (I give all credit to God for making this possible). I was asked today to share my best moment at harvest and there it is. Thank you Harvest Chevrolet #harvestchevroletmoment

Mixed results: On a "positive" end, i've never had an issue…read moregetting in or dropping off my vehicle for Service. The customer gets treated with dignity. That's a big deal. I recently had an oil change scheduled and asked them to diagnose a Check Engine Light while they had it in the bay. They called and told me that there was a code. (generally that's the case whe you have a CEL). ~$500 later the CEL was no longer on, and for the moment It appeared that the issue was "fixed". During post-oil change pickup i was advised that because of the car's age, it would have to be brought in more frequently than the normal service intervals you'd expect from a vehicle running full synthetic rather than a blended synthetic.. I had spent many years as a professional mechanic, and at one time had hundreds of city fleet vehicles on my repair record.. Synthetic oils havent changed much, (nor has the internal combustion engine) so every 7,500-8,500 miles (or once per year) on a good full-synthetic 5W-20 or 0W-20 (Mobil 1, Pennzoil Platinum/Ultra, Valvoline Extended Protection, etc.) is reasonable even for an "aged" vehicle that is not in the "severe-service" category that justifies 3,500-mile changes. The dealership's advice is pure upsell in this case. SO, If you ever want absolute proof for your situation, get yourself a Blackstone Labs UOA test at 8,000 miles -- I'd bet money it comes back with plenty of TBN left and wear metals in the "excellent" range. I wont speak negative against Harvest Honda because I like the people who work there. on the same token, Nobody in the service industry should be making assumptions about the people who support their business.
