Mixed results: On a "positive" end, i've never had an issue getting in or dropping off my vehicle for Service. The customer gets treated with dignity. That's a big deal. I recently had an oil change scheduled and asked them to diagnose a Check Engine Light while they had it in the bay. They called and told me that there was a code. (generally that's the case whe you have a CEL). ~$500 later the CEL was no longer on, and for the moment It appeared that the issue was "fixed". During post-oil change pickup i was advised that because of the car's age, it would have to be brought in more frequently than the normal service intervals you'd expect from a vehicle running full synthetic rather than a blended synthetic.. I had spent many years as a professional mechanic, and at one time had hundreds of city fleet vehicles on my repair record.. Synthetic oils havent changed much, (nor has the internal combustion engine) so every 7,500-8,500 miles (or once per year) on a good full-synthetic 5W-20 or 0W-20 (Mobil 1, Pennzoil Platinum/Ultra, Valvoline Extended Protection, etc.) is reasonable even for an "aged" vehicle that is not in the "severe-service" category that justifies 3,500-mile changes. The dealership's advice is pure upsell in this case. SO, If you ever want absolute proof for your situation, get yourself a Blackstone Labs UOA test at 8,000 miles -- I'd bet money it comes back with plenty of TBN left and wear metals in the "excellent" range. I wont speak negative against Harvest Honda because I like the people who work there. on the same token, Nobody in the service industry should be making assumptions about the people who support their business. read more

I'm sorry wearing yoga pants and a sweatshirt with unwashed hair to work and being stuck on your phone is so unprofessional. I'm thinking she is a family member of the owner. I wrote service for 8 years and know that is all wrong. Never judge a customer for what they drive. Wear professional attire and don't judge. I happen to have a newer Toyota Tacoma Sport, and a newer Highlander Hybrid at home. I just inherited the accord from my sister who passed away on Christmas and was just trying to maintain the vehicle to keep it running. She didn't have the courtesy to call me letting me know that the vehicle was sold after calling almost everyday update: The manager of Harvest Honda reached out to me and to no surprise was unapologetic. On 9.17.23 I took two non-Honda vehicles in for some basic maintenance. Upon entering the breezeway, we were immediately greeted by a porter who asked a couple of basic questions, took our keys, and began gathering information on the vehicle. As we approached the front counter we were greeted by two different individuals, welcoming us in for service and asking how they could help. After a friendly and brief conversation we went on about our day. I received text notifications that the vehicles were done well ahead of schedule. Upon our return to pick them up I was greeted in a parking lot by the mechanic that had done the oil change on my pickup. He mentioned one minor problem that he had noted and suggested a plan of attack. When we got inside to the front counter I was given that same information again: nothing pushy, and no one tried to sell me anything. They were simply making me aware of a small problem before it becomes a bigger one. The pricing was fair, the service was fast, friendly and informative, and upon inspection they had done exactly what they said they had done. Professional and efficient is not always easy to find in a repair shop, and Harvest Honda demonstrates it perfectly. Thank you Tony, Javi, Diego, and Enrique! We will be back! read more

Took my vehicle in for regular service and tire rotation. After the service was completed the service writer tole me I had a locking lug nut missing on the right front. Hard for me to believe considering I had just washed the vehicle and all of the lug nuts were there plus the fact that if a locking nut was missing it would take a special socket to remove it. Obviously the service person lost or ruined the nut during removal when rotating the tires. To replace this nut with Honda OEM parts it is $70 because you have to buy the set of 4, something they didn't want to do or admit they mess up. It's difficult to trust auto dealership service departments just for this reason. Own up to your screw-ups and take care of them. maybe your would have a better reputation. Think twice before taking your car to this service department. read more

Today my check engine light came on my honda odyssey, then flashed. I called the Harvest Honda, explained the problem, and asked if they could assess the problem. Javier said yes, that the diagnostics would cost $180. I asked if the cost of the diagnostics would be applied towards the cost of the cost of the repair if the problem were identified and I decided to have them do the repair. He said yes. When they called a few hours later to tell me what the problem was, I again asked if the diagnostics cost would count towards the cost of the repair if I had them do it. he said yes, so I authorized it. But, when I picked up the car, they charged me the $180 IN ADDITION TO the cost of labor and parts and all. So, $700 for the cost of one ignition coil. Service advisor said he misunderstood. Service manager said it sounded like a "miscommunication" and she couldn't do anything about it. I don't think I could have been more clear with my questions, so why should I pay for THEIR misunderstanding....if THAT was really the issue? But I am really disappointed in them and I will not be back. And, on top of it all, I plan to buy a new car, likely one of two Honda models....and now, it will NOT be from Harvest Honda. I bought my Mazda CX-5, new, from the former Bob Hall Dealership, in 2015. I have been faithful to the Dealership Service, since it changed to Harvest Honda. When my car would not start, on 4/5/23, I had AAA deliver my car to the HH Service Center. In talking to Javier before sending my car I did say it seemed the battery was at fault. HOWEVER, at all the other Service Appointments, the FIRST thing that was done was the DIAGNOSTIC, ($135.00), regardless what I might have said. I made the assumption that was what would be done when my car was delivered by AAA on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. When I picked up my car that afternoon, paid the bill of $257.00 for the replacement of a new battery. No diagnostic had been done! One week later, April 12, 2023, my car was dead, again. I called Honda Harvest Service Center, that morning and talked to Scott.. He told me that since "I had told him, last week, that it was the battery" that I would now be charged the $135.00 Diagnostic fee, first thing. Scott told me that there was NO DIAGNOSTIC done on my car, the preceding week, because it "seemed to be the battery" as I had said! Isn't it HIS JOB to diagnose what is wrong with a car when brought to the Service Center by a AAA truck, regardless of what the owner may have thought? I am NOT A MECHANIC. Called Harvest Honda ask about getting spark plugs replaced. Was told that I would also have to have the valves adjusted. If I didn't I would have a real problem. I called other auto repair shops and was told that it wasn't true. My grandson replaced the spark plugs for me. Car is running great. Also I had the battery replaced at Harvest Honda a couple years ago. My radio and disk player stopped working. Thinking it was a blown fuse I asked my grandson to replace the fuse. Fuse was fine. Come to find out when they replaced the battery they did not reprogram the radio and disk player like they should. Don't trust them at all. read more

After two hours of researching I found someone for $350 , I then called Honda expressing I would rather have them work on my vehicle . They matched the price with no hesitation ! I am so upset about the service I recieved at Harvest Honda, formerly Bob Hall Mazda. Not only did they leave off my engine cover and lose it( this is a large approximately 2 ft x 18 inch piece of hard plastic that covers my engine) but the charge for the oil change I went in for, was off the charts. They charged me almost $14 per qt of NON synthetic oil for my car. They tried to tell me it was expensive special oil. No, its castrol 5w20 same as I buy at wal-mart for $18 for 5 qts! I also told them when I arrived about a problem with the car shifting. (It is still under warrenty) When the car was done, I asked what was discoved wrong with it. They said it 'looked' fine. They didnt even drive it! They act like I'm just a dumb woman. Well this dumb woman's going somewhere else! read more

Following an oil change and while my car was still on the lift, the service tech came into the waiting area and showed me four white styrofoam cups with fluids in them. Each was labeled--brakes, "tranny", rear differential, and one more. He said that all those fluids were in immediate need of replacing. The cost would be over $600 and would only take 40 minutes. If I agreed, he offered a 10% discount for that day. I knew that at least one of those fluids was relatively new, done by an independent service shop. I declined. Later, the fluids were checked by my usual independent service provider, who confirmed that there was no immediate need for replacement. read more

Appointment day I drove there and got a ride home in the shuttle. 5 minutes later I got s call informing me that the part(s) were not in and that I would need to bring the car back the next day. I was on a road trip from Renton, WA to Boise, ID, when my 1996 Honda Accord lost high speed power while climbing out of Ellensburg on highway 82, and the check engine light came on. After pulling over and consulting my owners manual, as recommended I continued at 35 to 40 mph to Yakima to assess the problem at Harvest Honda, 1700 East Yakima Ave., Yakima, WA. With no appointment, my car was immediately looked at and underwent diagnostic testing. This is without a doubt the most customer friendly, efficient, thorough and informative Honda dealer I have ever experienced. I was kept fully informed on the status of my car the entire time, by Service Advisor Tony Vasquez and the Service Manager. They have a most comfortable waiting area and the entire staff was helpful and polite in offering all of the perks offered in the waiting area. They we not able to duplicate the problem and eventually sent me on my way with some suggestions and advice. The service check was at no charge. I am so impressed with this auto group, that when it is time to retire the old '96, I will definitely consider traveling across the mountains to buy a replacement from Harvest Honda, and try to convince them to branch out to Renton in the future. The worst part was that they were pretty unapologetic and continued to claim that it wasn't their fault. Cars are pretty complicated and if you can't do colors who knows what else you'll get wrong. I had a terrible experience and was lied to about what work was needed on my car. I had gone in for an oil change and was told that my car needed an air filter, a brake job and a rear end fluid replacement. I was skeptical because the car only had 60,000 miles on it. The employee told me that my brake pads had only three millimeters left on them. I took my car elsewhere and they showed me that the brakes still had 35% left in the front and 65% on the rear. My air filter is a K&N that is good for 100,000 miles and not in need of replacement. I have seen this before when my son's girlfriend took her car there in 1989 and $900.00 later her car was released to her. I wouldn't take my car there for anything, they are dishonest and only after your money. read more

The Service that we have received has been nothing short of first class. Cesar in the service department has been our primary adviser and has taken really good care of us. I'd recommend him to anyone coming out here. Cesar has been straight forward with us and has been fair every time we have a question or issue. Brought my 4D 2010 Civic VP to BHH for after market remote door locks and trunk release. Bob Hall would not tell me where they were going to send my car, but that work would be done by a local shop. When Bob Hall returned my car, parts and screws were left on my back seat, key entry from the outside was extremely stiff and the lock release levers were so stiff that my 5 and 11yo couldn't manually unlock the doors from inside the car. There was a button installed under the dash with no explanation. The instructions were for several different models of alarm systems, none of which applied to my installation. I used the remote locks for 7 months, then the trunk actuator stopped working. 2 months later the front passenger door stopped opening. Now I cannot open my front passenger door from inside or outside the car! I brought my car back to Bob Hall and they charged me $48 to tell me the installation was not done correctly and that they no longer use Audio King because of similar problems. Bob Hall offered me nothing but the bill and the phone number for Audio King at Nob Hill. I drive 50mi to go to Bob Hall because I've always thought dealers were the best place to go for service. But Bob Hall has proven me wrong four times now. And Audio King? Why should I bring my car back to them when they don't measure up to Bob Hall Honda's low service standards and did a poor job the first time? I paid $550 for the installation, $48 for the explanation and can't afford any more costly mistakes. read more
