Staying in a downtown hotel, I wanted comfort and variety instead of the same old "complimentary breakfast". I asked the desk clerk for suggestions, and he offered two options. I decided to try The Daily Feast first, and I never bothered with the other place. As I entered I was cheerfully greeted and directed to a spot at the counter. There is a winding counter and several booths. I could smell the delicious aromas coming from the kitchen. It felt cozy and welcoming. Coffee was delivered and the special was enthusiasticly explained. I opted to try the Chilaquiles. Amazing! Spicy sauce, fresh tortillas, hot perfectly cooked eggs, yummy. I had a different dish every morning and they could ALL easily be my favorite. I went here for breakfast every day of my stay. My last day I was dressed up for my father's funeral. My server (who's name has now escaped me a year later) asked about my change of attire. I told him where I was going after breakfast. He immediately held up his arms and offered a warm hug.
