Been here twice thus far and I gotta say, DAAAAAYUM!!!! They make some pretty darn good filling, and clean tasting sammies! And there are plenty of tables for dining-in as well as a pretty large patio area. As for service, it's always been with a smile, so no issues picking up. The Lunch Combo Sandwiches that I've tried: ~ Roasted Turkey ($16.50) with good sized turkey slices, smaller bacon slices, some cheddar, sweet slices apple, some arugula (meh), and a tasty pesto aioli. All served on a heavy ciabatta hoagie. Also with a dill pickle spear and some Spicy Dill Pickle chips. The sandwich was very thick. The ciabatta was a bit soft, but dense enough to hold things together. Loved it! ~ Second try, it was 'a must' that I order the Reuben ($16.50). Which came with good slices of pastrami, Swiss cheese nice and melted, some kraut, and house Russian dressing on "marble rye." YES, MARBLE RYE!!! I despise pastrami sammies with regular oat bread lol. Better Half does it right! I only wish it were more wet versus being a clean sandwich. Again, this is definitely filling, and now I understand why this place servers half a sandwich. Next time I'm goin' for something adventurous like their Pork Mojo or a Jackfruit Mojo sammie. Maybe. Super excited to try this place, the sandwiches looked amazing on Yelp and I am a huge sandwich gal, so I could not resist. The location itself is awesome, lots of huge windows and the interior was clean and modern looking. The concrete walls were a fun addition. The employees were nice but not over the top which I liked, sometimes that fakeness can be a little off putting. The sandwiches were fully loaded and came with chips and half a pickle spear (Yay pickles). I couldn't even eat the other half of my sandwich because it was so filling. The canned beverages they have available to buy offer a wide variety of choices, the Mela water was one of the best things I've ever drank so I highly recommend you try. I suspect the photo of your sandwich will turn out better than the taste of your sandwich. It was busy, open seating and in a large expensive rent corner building. This could be why they've cut corners, because they are spending too much on their location. Not ideal for all wheelchair users since it's street parking and a considerable distance I should try once more before not recommending the place, but do I actually want to go back and spend $$ to take the chance? My experience of the actual food=I took 3 bites and walked across the street to New Seasons for a sandwich. read more

Oh my gosh! This is by far the best sandwich I've ever had. Their Siracha pork is their take on a Banh Mi, and it is so flavorful! The ingredients taste fresh, and rather than using heat as a flavor, there was a very nice blend between fresh cucumbers, creamy spicy siracha mayo, and pickled veggies. The tomato soup on its own is a 6/10, I really like the creaminess & hint of lemongrass + lime leaf but I couldn't help but feel like it was missing a spice. The breakfast also ranks high in my opinion. The sausage, egg, & cheese is simple & done really well 9/10! The bacon, egg, cheese is good but not as satisfying as the sausage, also not enough bacon 8.5/10. The breakfast BLT had a lot going on & just too messy for my liking but nonetheless it was good 8/10. Hash browns & fries are really crispy, get the fry sauce 8.8/10! I've ordered online multiple times and once in person, service has always been good. Generous avocado, fresh and flavorful tomato and greens, and a delicious vegan patty. The ciabatta bread is also super fresh and soft. The fries are crispy and tasty. I appreciated the service - friendly welcome when I walked in. It's a touch screen order system but still helpful servers and folks at the counter.
