A little overpriced, quality is iffy, and customer service could be a tad bit better…read more I bought a couple of pieces for our wedding; a cake cutting set, a gift card box, and a nice necklace for my mother. The cake cutting set was $92, which did not include the engraving service. After the engraving, I believe I paid $135. The quality of the engraving does not seem worth the extra cost, but I really wanted a nice set. The necklace I purchased for my mother was pretty but the necklace itself seemed really cheap. For $120, I expected better quality and a better chain for the necklace. My mother really loved her gift though, so in all, it was worth it. The gift card box was smaller than I thought, but it definitely added a really elegant/romantic feel to our wedding. I ordered the card box online and it was ready the same day. Each time I visited the store, the associates were busy and most of the time, they barely stopped to greet me or ask if I needed assistance. Customer service here could definitely use a bit of work.

I'd have to agree with the first reviewer--the customer service sucks at this location…read more My friend and I were not greeted when we first walked into the store. When I finally asked for help, the associate seemed burdened. I know it's busy during the Christmas season, but we were the only customers in the store and I didn't ask for much. They did have the item ready within an hour, as promised. Thumbs up for that. But even when I picked it up they seemed irritated! What is so bothersome about helping the ONE customer you have all night? :P No real complaints about the item except that the font is verrrrrrrry small. :\ I like Things Remembered, just not this particular location.

My daughter wants to get some chapter books and found this place on Yelp. The owner was nice and…read morepointed us to the direction of the books where my daughter can find what she likes. They have used and brand new books, but buying used that are still in in mint condition and low price is amazing. We were told that they accept used books of any kind and will get a lifetime credit that never expires. Once you get a credit and buys a used book, the price will be less 50% from the written price. This is an awesome deal. We will surely come back here.

This place is a little step back into another time. It reminds me of certain bookstores in San…read moreFrancisco, Berkeley, and Oakland from the 90's. They just don't have too many bookstores left like this one. As the name suggests, you can bring your gently used books in and they will keep a record of them, and you will receive a discount of roughly half off of whatever you decide to buy in exchange for bringing in your old books. This turns out to be a great value considering the good condition and broad variety of the books that they carry. We can always find something good to read, and the price is definitely always easy on the pocketbook. The lovely people who work here are very well informed. I was looking for a classic by Pearl S Buck, and she knew exactly where it was located in the store. I have confidence in these guys, and I know that I can check with them before I go look elsewhere. A must see for any avid reader or bibliophile.

Realize the kids are gonna be at the Silo entrance further down so trek back to car and drive there. Grab my large jacket and thankfully mine and the kid's lunch in a foil cooler shopping bag and my now only half filled (with water) 40 oz Stanley. The trek from my car to the silo entrance to the kids meeting point inside was LONG. It felt like I had come from hot yoga at this point with all the walking and sun now coming out. It was the beginning of some regrets. But glad I grabbed everything because there was no going back to the car at this point with car over a miles away. Heavy jacket stayed tied around my waist for the rest of the day like a bag of heavy rocks. Add to this the shiny foil bag and my nearly empty 40 oz Stanley with no water fountains in sight. Aside from my large load I toted around all day, the activities around this pumpkin patch are very fun and plentiful. The haunted house is very scary and some little kids will cry from it so be warned. The staff were nice. I understand they want us to buy water but that is where I took away the star because no water fountains. I was chaperoning and some kids were thirsty and I said let's keep an eye out for a water fountain. We never found one. Overall though this place is cool like a mini Disneyland for Pumpkin Farms. Was pleasantly surprised!
