During my last visit, I found a very poncho on the sales floor with a price tag attached. When I brought it to the register, the cashier removed the tag and said it couldn't be sold because it had been priced incorrectly. I understand mistakes happen, and I wasn't asking to get it for the incorrect price. I simply asked if it could be repriced and held so I could come back and purchase it at the correct price. I was told no, and the response included laughter and a comment like, "Haha, yeah, probably not," which left me feeling embarrassed. My concern isn't the policy: it's how the interaction was handled!!! A little empathy would have made a disappointing situation much easier to accept. I hope management reviews how situations like this are communicated, because this has otherwise been a great neighborhood thrift store.
