When it comes to corporate pizza companies, they are usually a dime and dozen. In general, the food and service are average. However, Your Pie Pizza is different compared to other corporate pizza companies like Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Papa John's. Pizzas are usually personal size and made to a patron's preference. Because of this difference, they stand out, as this is my first Your Pie Pizza I ever eaten at. Your Pie Pizza is located within the Hammock Landing shopping plaza. It is just west of Norfolk Pkwy, next to Gamestop ( I don't know how long Gamestop will stay open, though). Upon entering, the line starts to the left, and the dining is on the right. When you order, you can choose one of their signature flavors or make your own, which includes options on dough and toppings. The pizza may seem small, but it is perfect for a personal size. Not to mention, there are other options to enhance/customize your meal, which includes gelato flavors for dessert, chips, and baked goods. There is much dining space, and the booths are comfortable enough, but the stand-alone tables do use those "modern" chairs that are overly uncomfortable. Restaurants like to use them because they are "trendy." They still suck in comfort and that is what matters to me more than the trendiness. On a sidenote, the restrooms were clean whenever I ate there. My lady friends have even said the women's restroom was cleaned and stocked, too. Nevertheless, I would suggest this pizza place for those who want to stick to the "corporate chains" that are unique and delicious. Though there are many mom-and-pop restaurants that blow them out of the water, I would not turn down eating at Your Pie Pizza if they are nearby and I have a hankering for pizza, moreso than other corporate chains, too.

DONT sleep on this spot. Fresh pizza made and cooked in a wood fired oven in front of you. Dough was perfect, ingredients were fresh, and the atmosphere was great for a quick, casual lunch vibe. Service is good, chipotle style. We love stopping by this plaza during road trips -- and if we're ever in the mood for pizza, we will be coming back.

We enjoy coming here! It is great to be able to order online as well! The staff is nice and the place is clean. The pizza is good. We all enjoyed the crispy crust since it was wood fire grilled. The gelato is a nice touch! This comes with the kids meal so mine look forward to having that treat.

I love these pizza concept restaurant, where you can literally build your own pizza from a selection of ingredients that are added at your request! Let's not forget you can also build your own salad here as well, and the salads are my absolute favorite. I love loading on the ingredients full of fun veggies, meats, and cheeses! Beer and wine are also available! Make sure to check out the fun gelato flavors while you are there, for dessert! The Cookie Monster gelato is my niece's favorite! The service is great and the staff is so friendly! Love this place!

Gluten-free, dairy-free 10" oizza

I ordered a hot and delicious gluten-free , dairy-free pizza with toppings. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. Perhaps it was my error in having high hopes for gluten-free and dairy-free pizza. I ordered, paid (over $17 for a personal size pizza ), and ran a quick errand across the street while they made it. When I came to get my pizza, as soon as I lifted the tiny box, I knew something was off. The box was so light - like it was empty and the bottom was soggy and cold. They keep pizzas waiting for pickup on a cold marble counter instead of on top of a hot oven like most pizza places. I decided not to let my pizza get any colder and sat down to eat. Lifted the lid and was sad to see the flimsiest cracker-like crust. One bite said the whole soggy story. It was ice cold, and the crust was terrible - it has a grainy and gummy texture. I was so disappointed because I had been so excited for a pizza i could actually eat!!! I asked the staff about why it was cold and they told me that it was better hot and that if I had eaten it right from the oven, it would be better. It was suggested that it was my fault for not claiming the pizza right away but offered to make me a replacement. I declined (I didn't believe a replacement would change this pizza enough for me to really enjoy it) and they were very nice and refunded most of my money. Since I couldn't get fully refunded, I was very hungry and tired from work, and this pizza was already dinner attemp #2, I decided to take the pizza and test it with my air fryer at home. If you are gluten-free, may want to skip this crust - they do not have the winning recipe! The quality is just not there on this gluten and dairy-free adaptation. I cannot speak of regular crust and cheese. Perhaps that is much better. On mine, the cheese never melted, and the crust texture was chewy and gummy instead of crunchy and crispy. The toppings were sparse. 2 stars only because the staff was nice even when I was left disappointed and hungry in a pizza joint.

Many options. Delicious & fresh. Nice size pizza for a reasonable price. Great customer service & timely experience. I really enjoyed my pizza. They offer veggie sausage & veggie pepperoni for $1 up charge. They also have cauliflower crust for $5 up charge. I didn't try it yet but they have gelato, pasta, paninis, & salads as well. Definitely recommend.

So I like the whole build your pizza concept. Some are definitely better than others and to be honest I make my own pizza at home so I can be a stickler when it comes to pizza. Pizza dough and sauce, it's very easy but I use water from New York and Bread Flour is a must. Just a couple hints but someday id love to do an elite pizza making party. I got in line and was in the mood for a loaded pizza. So when I got up to the window I ordered a house specialty called the Lineage from the friendly staff member. Its hand stretched white crust with marinara toped with pepperoni, italian sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and olives. My pizza arrived very quickly and it was very tasty, not homemade by any means but tasty. The crust had a nice crisp to the bottom and held up well to the heavy toppings. The toppings were generous and tasted pretty darn good. A good experience and next I'm in the area I'll give it another go.

Quick bite for lunch with my son. Service was efficient and food was delicious. They also have alternatives for those with different nutritional needs. Fast casual dining was perfect for lunch!

Your Pie, 225 Palm Bay Road NE, Palm Bay FL. 32904 2.5 Stars (Chain Restaurant Review) This location of a relatively new on-the-scene rapidly expanding chain in Hammock Landing is what I refer to as "fake" Palm Bay. The Landing is a testament to open-air shopping and a sign of the rapid destruction of '80s mall life, c'est la vie. I always feel like I'm in some Fellini movie when I come here and half expect a purple unicorn to prance by symbolizing forgotten dreams of youth. Your Pie is a franchise that began in Athens, Georgia in 2008 after the founder, Drew French returned from his honeymoon in Italy inspired by the brick oven pizza places that dot the countryside. With over one hundred locations from the Carolinas to Montana, they are sure to be near you soon. The franchise I visited is owned by Bismash Patel. Bismash can be seen daily literally busting his behind in support of his staff. If the Big Boy rated solely on service and service alone, this place would be 5 stars all the way, just based on Bismash's work ethic and professionalism. However, that is not the case here at BBDO where we are only concerned with the food for sale. To that end, I placed an order for one Chicken Pesto Pizza and a Pasta Bowl. Taking a seat, I eagerly turned my gaze toward the open kitchen and watched them concoct my order. I love watching people make pizza dough and knowing this was going to be fresh had my mouth watering in anticipation. It wasn't all that long before my order was in front of me and my nostrils were filled with delicious aromas wafting up from the still-steaming grub. As the dough is paramount to a fantastic pizza, I will begin my review there. Taking a bite I was unpleasantly surprised. I watched them toss it and bake it, but it has the taste of a frozen pizza. In other words, it was far below average and to top it off (pun intended) the chicken was either freezer-burned, overcooked or just poor quality as it had the consistency of a red gym ball from the 70s. At this point, it was all I could do not to absquatulate, but I had a job to do so I remained seating and moved on to the Pasta Bowl. While I didn't have a problem with the Pasta Bowl as the pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente, again the flavorings were nothing spectacular and were found to be about par for the course. After watching them make everything, I have to say the end result just doesn't cut it. I have no doubt at all that Bismash could make any place better, perhaps he is better suited to the role of efficiency consultant as he seems to be able to make any place run like a well-oiled machine, even one with below-average offerings. The Big Boy says, "There are better build your own, watch them bake it in a brick oven pizza places. In fact, they are becoming a dime a dozen. Try one of those and skip this place until Bismash can rectify the quality of ingredients sent to him by corporate."

This place is good but the service is extremely slow. It seems like everyone working here has other things on their mind.

Not impressed. Way overpriced for the amount of food/quality. You can tell they were being skimpy/ cheap with toppings. I'll stick to Blaze.

Whit's Frozen Custard - Melbourne

4.4(16 reviews)
4.5 mi

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Firstly, I have indulged in Whit's Frozen Custard multiple times on different occassions, with the last time being at Grace Community Church in West Melbourne, FL during one of their special Sunday events. This is probably the first time - that I can remember - I ate frozen custard directly from their brick-and-mortar store located in Historic Downtown Melbourne. So was Whit's Frozen Custard, at least the locale in Historic Downtown Melbourne, a yay or a nay? Frozen custard-wise, it is a yay, but in general, it is not necessarily a nay, but more an observation that can make or break a patron's view of wanting to go to Whit's Frozen Custard (which I will shorthand simply to Whit's for the remainder of this review) or somewhere else. Even though an address is provided, Whit's is located in the East side of Historic Downtown Melbourne, in between Crush XI and Constant Pressure Tattoo Shop. I must stress that Whit's is probably not handicap accessible as the only way in and out has four steps. Inside is quite minimalistic with its overuse of the color white (which kinda fits with their name) and stainless steel, but it fits their theme. The seating is also minimalistic, but it is assumed most people will take their custard and walk with it around and about downtown. Whit's also has numerous flavors pre-packaged for sale, but their flavors they have ready-to-serve is minimal. You can choose either vanilla, chocolate, or the flavor of the day. Today when I went, the two flavors for Sunday was peach and Heath bar. I had two scoops of peach were a nice amount of frozen custard to eat for like $6. Not bad for the price they provide. Given the information above, this is either a yay or nay compared to other frozen custard places. Other places have more options, but they are not necessarily top tier across the board. Other places may be less in price, but the amount of frozen custard you get will be less than the price you pay with Whit's. Like I said, these are not criticisms, but more like personal observations that cater to one's preferences. With that in mind, I am going to give Whit's three out of five stars. They are a-okay with what they have and what they have is delicious, but depending on my mood, I will either go to them... or not. Now if they are consistent with this setup, I will definitely give them an extra star for said consistency. But right now, they are three stars meaning they are a-okay.

The staff were very helpful in explaining options and toppings. The store is extremely clean…read more Several to go flavors. Great little spot in Downtown Melbourne.
