Very overdue for a review as we've been here many times this year. Great place to take visitors for "special" pizza. We eavesdropped on another couple several visits back and copied their order which has become our favorite: 6 pepper pizza and we add pepperoni. We've had the meatballs here too which were great. Consistently solid offerings though we wish they'd use real butter on their knots....its a bit of a weird margarine-type spread. Decent service, and such a cool, historic location (former bank building) that CAN get noisy inside but we have even eaten at the "communal" tables inside when they were busy and STILL had a very pleasant meal. EXCEPTIONALLY clean bathrooms with GREAT cinematic photos involving pizza and hot, hot water and good soap....that goes a long way with me. This is where we go for a "special" pizza night because you will pay more but the atmosphere is well worth it. read more

FM pizza is a great pizza shop housed in an old bank in the Eau Gallie Arts District. The service was fantastic! Our server was polite, personable, and had a great sense of humor. The beer was cold and the pizza was amazing! We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a meatball burrata pizza. The meatball burrata was excellent! I like the fact the sauce was a little sweeter and less acidic than some of the other sauces I've had at other establishments. The one critique I have about the meatball pizza is the distribution of the cheese on top. I prefer the cheese to be a little more evenly spread out than we received, but that is probably nothing more than a simple request when ordering. Came in over the weekend w/ my son & mother who is from outta town. She had never been. I'm local & spend a lot of time in the art district but I hadn't been in years. The pizza has gone down hill. My mushroom pizza had little to no mushroom (our server couldn't even spot them). I asked did they put them under the cheese. They took it off the bill. The reason for two stars instead of one & service is usually good. My mom seemed to enjoy the veggie one. The white pizza needed more flavor. I didn't have any of the s'mores one but they said that it was their fav. Today I got the brussel sprouts pizza. It was disappointing. Again, very little brussel sprouts. I tasted onion & cheese & ordered light cheese. The vegan pepperoni used to be whole slices. Now it's diced & I could barely taste it. On Thursday, I thought at first glance that is was tomato. Today, I knew what to expect but was hoping there'd be more brussel sprouts. On a positive note I do like that you can sub out toppings. These last two experiences have been disappointing. My husband and I went here for lunch. We were craving some pizza! We ordered side salads( and they are decent sized!!!) , he had blue cheese and I decided to try the lemon garlic dressing. 9pm on a Friday night on a mini staycation we really didn't know what or where to go grab a bite at, but pizza is comforting and it's Friday night so it was a no brainer that Yelp brought us here. It definitely was the aroma at first entrance when we walked in that made us fall in love or maybe the anticipation of tasting a deliciously made pizza pie from a Brick Oven that had us excited.. but it was the taste, the perfection of the ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings that absolutely made me want to throw in the towel - kiss the chef/owner for one of the best pizzas I or shall I say we (hubs) have ever eaten!! What we ordered- Pepperoni Pie - 10/10 (hubs ordered this one) The taste was absolutely amazing! Not too many slices just enough to create a delicious and mouthwatering pie. Perfect ‍ Mushroom Pie 100000/10000 So is it that obvious that this was my favorite? Listennnn, my new obsession for this pie is on another level. I've been here a few times. The service is always great. We're always seated right away. Every time The pizza has been so good and consistent! One of the best pizzas I've had in the area. We also ordered the garlic knots and added mozzarella cheese. They're a must every time we go. My only complaint is that we added mushrooms to our pizza and were charged $2-3 for the added topping for maybe 5 slices of mushrooms... not worth the $3. read more

The house salad was delicious and enough for two people. Glass of wine was a good pour at a good price. The cannoli delicious. The service wonderful. Overall a good experience but what we really came here for was the brick oven pizza which was just ok. A little sparse on the toppings. I love brick oven pizza and try it here, there wherever, Florida, California, Georgia you get the point. A reasonable amount of toppings would have most likely made it better. I have visited this restaurant previously with 2 friends, we weren't really happy about much. Thought I would give it another try. I went in, sat at the bar for carryout. Had 1 glass of Cabernet while waiting on my 3 topping pizza. (All pies are same size). I love wood fired pizza, but don't intend on coming back. My bill was $38+/-. I got home,(my fault for not checking it first), the pizza crust was burned, my toppings or Ham, Onion and Mushroom, were not real tasty. Kieran was working the bar in this very successful incarnation of the Old Bank building in EGAD when I popped in for a quick bite and some of their sangria. Usually I get one of the craft pizzas but I decided to mix it up today. Wow, am I glad I did! My first reaction was " wow the wings are kinda small". Let me tell you though... they were all meat and so juicy and flavorful. Crispy outside and coated in a terrific creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. So we're the knots- I asked Kieran what kind of voodoo this was and he said "Garlic-Gasm". I have to concur. We came here for pizza last night and absolutely loved it! From the moment you walk in, there's nothing pretentious about this place. It's just cold beer and hot pizza. Like really fresh, hot pizza. They have Caribe pineapple cider on tap which is also a plus in my book. We started off with the Brie appetizer. It was good but it was a lot of dip. So much that we needed an entire second loaf of bread to finish the dip. The extra loaf was $5.50 bringing the app the $19.50. Skip the appetizer and get a second pizza instead. We ordered the Brussels sprouts pizza and OMG it was incredible. It had the perfect amount of char from the pizza oven and the flavor combination and crunch from the Brussels sprouts was amazing. There is so much that I love about this restaurant. Owners Marci and Doug Kissell went from cooking on a backyard pizza oven to owning wood fired food trucks in 2015. The trucks which are retro 1953 and 1947 Chevy Loadmaster farm trucks fitted with pizza ovens evoke the idea of farm fresh. The trucks travel up and down the space coast serving mouth watering pizza. Starting their roots from a food truck is something they have in common with some of my all time favorite restaurants. There is something about having to bust your rear as a food truck that translates into a fabulous restaurant. If the food truck connection wasn't enough to get me excited, this restaurant opened in 2019 in the Eau Gallie Historic District in a 1922 bank on the corner of West Eau Gallie Boulevard and Highland Avenue. If you have ever read my reviews you know I love a historic building and great food and this is a match made in heaven. While you take in the 4,800-pound wood-fired Napolese pizza firing the dough and the local brews, wine, and cocktails being poured at the bar you can still see the bank vault turned wine tasting room and the pictures of how the bank looked in the 1920's on the wall. You have your choice of outside dining in front of the building or in one of the two dining rooms. Before FM moved in, the bank building was previously home to Chef Mario's Cafe. The restaurant opens for dinner service at 5. When I arrived with a dead phone my server Kieran was so helpful in getting me hooked up to a wall outlet near my table. I started off with a strongly poured $8 nectarine iced tea made with 44 North Nectarine Vodka and iced tea. It was so refreshing. All of the pizzas are fired at 800-900 degree in the Napolese built Italian Valorian Oven. Only food and wood go into the oven resulting in a thin crust crunchy pizza with a bit of a char. I ordered a meatball burrata pizza made with meatballs, fresh burrata, and marinara. My pizza arrived freshly made and pipping hot. You can tell that all of the ingredients were top quality. This is one of the best pizzas I can remember having in a long time. FM can't be topped! It might sound cheesy but they are the greatest thing since sliced pizza. The history, friendly servers, and food are all top notch. They offer a gluten free crust pizza if you have dietary restrictions. They also have tapas that include chicken wings, meatballs, and garlic knots and some tasty looking salads that made me regret not ordering one when I saw them delivered to a nearby table. When I am in the area I will definitely visit again. Buono! read more

We come here quite often. The garlic knots and pizza are always VERY GOOD. In the past the service has always been exemplory. But, our last visit was very different. It was a Thursday evening, they were not very busy. We walked in and waited at the host podium for 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged, once seated by an abrupt young lady we were again ignored. We waited.....and waited... My Husband attempted to get the attention of a passing waiter,no luck. We waited again... for nearly 20 minutes for the waitress to return for our order. Nope. We left without even ordering. If you are eating in the Arts District, F&M is probably the only restaurant that you would seek out even if it wasn't in this trendy area. Genuinely good food as opposed to merely acceptable other local options. Get the garlic knots. Music by Mr. Hufnagel was a nice bonus. read more

Put in an order for 3 personal pizzas only 1 comes 20 minutes later, After the first person who had gotten their pizza and finished we asked our server where the other 2 were and she said they were coming right out she spoke to an employee behind the counter, probably to order the pizza and it took 20 more minutes for the other 2 small pizzas to come and at that point we just took them to go. The server never apologized and never offered anything for the wait. Also very dusty I looked up and saw just dust everywhere became very itchy and uncomfortable after about 30 minutes. Very cute place!! It is an old bank converted to a wonderful pizzeria. We had great service! The pizzas are awesome if you are looking for more of the artisan type of pizza. The new kid on the block and it did a pretty good job. Located in an old bank building with the vaults still intact. In fact,​ you can enjoy your food and drinks in one if you want to. The​ wait staff was very friendly and there was a bunch of them. We sat and on a hot day it was great the A/C was cranking. When it cools down you can sit outside on the sidewalk. We ordered up the old classic of pepperoni and sausage. We also ordered some cheese bites. The pizza came out pretty quick and the crust was not too thick and not too thin. However,​ the cheese bites app was missing in action. We should have killed it but our server put it in and they came out. I know gluten-free​ is a thing and it is supposed to be good for me but it is a hard pass next time.....the dipping red sauce was good but the mozzarella balls were overpowered by the lack of taste in the GF flour they dusted them in. Overall the experience​ was good and I am a fan. I am most excited about another choice just across the bridge. Worth the drive over the bridge. read more

My family has been enjoying pizza here for over a year, once a week on average, and bringing service animal each time who is registered with Sherrif dept. as a working animal, you wouldn't know he was there as he is under the table. One of our children is in a wheel chair. Mercy, the apparent owner, kicked us out of the restaurant tonight in a very rude way. It's a shame because we will not be back as they broke federal law. Went here today for lunch. Absolutely awesome time. Our waiter Eric was extremely helpful and quick. First off let me tell you their water tasted so good and such fresh lemons to go in it. My friend and I ordered a Pepperoni pizza with mushrooms. Everything about this place is off. First impression was "Is it even open?" Entrance is not well lit, kind of messy too. Are they storing things outside? Do they want anyone sitting outside? They sat us in the dining room in the back, which really looked more like a storage unit. Paint is chipping on the walls, chairs are falling apart, honestly, it's just a mess in here. Service was OK, not super but very friendly. It did not start off great, everything we ordered they were out of. Sodas all tasted off, syrups were off and co2 was not right. Ordered two pizzas, both came very burnt. The meatballs are not the same, some thing was off with the recipe, and they tasted like a typical pizzeria meatball, I've had them before, and they were delicious, these just weren't the same. The marinara did not taste the same. Whatever they're putting on the garlic knots, please stop it's disgusting. There appear to be several hard-working employees in here, everyone was friendly, so I feel kind of bad to write a terrible review, but this place needs some serious help . It's clearly a case of poor management. Dining out is all about the experience, the food, the ambiance; running out of so many ingredients, and Coca-Cola syrups off that much are not a good sign. Went there with my adult daughter and my adult son the other night ... just the 3 if us. We try to do that once a month. Anyhow .... the restaurant is located in an old bank building in what used to be downtown city of Eau Gallie. Had been there a few years ago and enjoyed it. Was looking forward to some veal and pappardelle. Not paying attention to the very limited signage we all missed the fact it had changed hands, was no longer an Italian restaurant and was now strictly a pizzeria. Okay .. pizza it is then. For appetizers we ordered the meatballs and the cheese balls. The meatballs were very good but I though the cheeseballs lacked flavor and tasted more like cheese flavored air. Didn't care for the consistency. My kids liked them. I ordered the Margherita pizza, my son the cheese with added pepperoni and onion and my daughter had the pepperoni on a gluten free crust. Important too know I am 100% Italian and grew up in a family-owned pizzeria/deli just outside Boston so I know my way around a good pizza. That also makes me a bit old school and all these new pizza types ruffle my feathers a bit but to each is own and you have to sell what the public wants, I guess. I like a good wood fired or coal fired pizza. That slight hint of smoke gives it a unique flavor. I'll give my pizza a C- as it was pretty flavorless. I tasted my son's pizza and it was spot on. It gets an A-. My daughter's gluten free crust was surprisingly okay. She had to threaten my life to get me to try a gluten free crust but there was really no noticeable difference. Hers will get an A- also. As a veteran myself I try to frequently vet owned places when I can so it was nice to see the owner was also a vet. All in all, it was a good evening and the food was above just acceptable. It was pretty darn good. I will definitely go back.' But next time I'll have what my son had ;) read more
