Cinematic shot of the 6 pepper pizza
    Jules S.

Very overdue for a review as we've been here many times this year. Great place to take visitors for "special" pizza. We eavesdropped on another couple several visits back and copied their order which has become our favorite: 6 pepper pizza and we add pepperoni. We've had the meatballs here too which were great. Consistently solid offerings though we wish they'd use real butter on their knots....its a bit of a weird margarine-type spread. Decent service, and such a cool, historic location (former bank building) that CAN get noisy inside but we have even eaten at the "communal" tables inside when they were busy and STILL had a very pleasant meal. EXCEPTIONALLY clean bathrooms with GREAT cinematic photos involving pizza and hot, hot water and good soap....that goes a long way with me. This is where we go for a "special" pizza night because you will pay more but the atmosphere is well worth it.

Came in over the weekend w/ my son & mother who is from outta town. She had never been. I'm local & spend a lot of time in the art district but I hadn't been in years. The pizza has gone down hill. My mushroom pizza had little to no mushroom (our server couldn't even spot them). I asked did they put them under the cheese. They took it off the bill. The reason for two stars instead of one & service is usually good. My mom seemed to enjoy the veggie one. The white pizza needed more flavor. I didn't have any of the s'mores one but they said that it was their fav. Today I got the brussel sprouts pizza. It was disappointing. Again, very little brussel sprouts. I tasted onion & cheese & ordered light cheese. The vegan pepperoni used to be whole slices. Now it's diced & I could barely taste it. On Thursday, I thought at first glance that is was tomato. Today, I knew what to expect but was hoping there'd be more brussel sprouts. On a positive note I do like that you can sub out toppings. These last two experiences have been disappointing. I can't recommend.

Best pizza and service! Worth the drive! So Delicious. We found this by googling wood fired pizza. Just what we need on a cold day

Pizza was absolutely amazing and delicious. Will definitely be back there. Highly recommended. I had the meat lovers pizza and it did not disappoint. Little bit of a wait to be seated but well worth it.

My husband and I went here for lunch. We were craving some pizza! We ordered side salads( and they are decent sized!!!) , he had blue cheese and I decided to try the lemon garlic dressing. It was decent! Steve had a margherita pizza and he had added something to it. I had the pepperoni pizza with mushrooms! Yummm !!! I had to bring leftovers home!! The service was great! They have tables for groups and tables for 2-4 people to sit at . This restaurant used to be a bank at one time and there is a safe !

9pm on a Friday night on a mini staycation we really didn't know what or where to go grab a bite at, but pizza is comforting and it's Friday night so it was a no brainer that Yelp brought us here. It definitely was the aroma at first entrance when we walked in that made us fall in love or maybe the anticipation of tasting a deliciously made pizza pie from a Brick Oven that had us excited.. but it was the taste, the perfection of the ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings that absolutely made me want to throw in the towel - kiss the chef/owner for one of the best pizzas I or shall I say we (hubs) have ever eaten!! Mind you,we have been around the world far and near and have tasted pizza from nearly every country and state that we have gone - BUT this place right here FM Pizza Oven is absolutely the BEST pizza everrrrr!!! (Heavy emphasizing on BEST) The decor and ambiance is pretty cool and super different. From the pictures on the wall we picked up that the building was restored and renovated. What we ordered- Pepperoni Pie - 10/10 (hubs ordered this one) The taste was absolutely amazing! Not too many slices just enough to create a delicious and mouthwatering pie. Perfect ‍ Mushroom Pie 100000/10000 So is it that obvious that this was my favorite? Listennnn, my new obsession for this pie is on another level. We are going to have to make a monthly visit to FM to kill this craving I have discovered thanks to this pie. Where shall I even begin?! The freshness of everything and I mean everything was on another level of goodness and yummines FM Pizza I feel like we are now in a long term committed relationship - you guys clearly and I mean clearly understood the assignment and have made me and the hubs extremely happy and super fans of your pies! We will definitely be back again without a doubt. Thank you for blessing us with delicious pizza!

I've been here a few times. The service is always great. We're always seated right away. Every time The pizza has been so good and consistent! One of the best pizzas I've had in the area. We also ordered the garlic knots and added mozzarella cheese. They're a must every time we go. My only complaint is that we added mushrooms to our pizza and were charged $2-3 for the added topping for maybe 5 slices of mushrooms... not worth the $3.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Great pizza; sorry for the picture of the half eaten slice but I wolfed down the pizza before I realized I hadn't taken a picture yet lol. Service was great and the ambiance; in an old bank setting. A must place to eat or just chill with friends.

Legit pizzeria with a cool bar attached. Burning only Florida oak, pizziola's are on point. Extensive pie list with decent beer/wine/craft cocktails. Cool vibe with friendly, attentive staff. Best pizzeria in area

Great little pizza spot . They have a great craft beer selection , and serve up some good wood fire pizza . We had the Brussels sprouts and the meatball burrata pizza . Sprouts were delicious and super fresh , delish with the onion and bacon . The pizza was good , a bit too saucy for us , but overall very good . Be sure to ask for the pizza extra crispy .

My wife and son tried the pizza last week and recommended we go back for dinner last night. Great choice. Greeted upon walking in by very friendly, smiling staff. Prompt service, great garlic rolls. We ordered a pie for my son, he loved it. I tried it too. Sweet sauce and perfectly cooked. My wife had the eggplant parm dinner with spaghetti and it was delicious. I ordered the chicken monachina. Chicken cutlet over a bed of sautéed spinach, mushrooms, tomato's, mozzarella in a Marsala sauce with fettuccine Alfredo. Absolutely one of the best dishes I've eaten since moving to Florida. Great find, great food! Worth the ride if you live in Brevard County. Looking forward to returning and trying out the rest of the menu. Very reasonable pricing. Our wait staff was on their game as well, always checking up on us. Well done. A+++

First and foremost, I have to admit that I did not think Slices Pizza would not last long, not…read morebecause of anything to do with their food, but the fact their location has gone through many business changes and Slices Pizza (which I will shorthand to SP for the remainder of the review) was the location's current... well... identity. Maybe the biggest reason why SP, or the location SP is at, is often passed by is how entering and exiting the strip mall is setup. You have to drive all the way to the other end of the strip mall to enter and exit despite SP being on the other end of the strip mall with no entrance/exit of their own. I would have passed SP if it weren't for my church's decision to eat here for lunch after service. Ergo, this is my first time eating here, and I hope it won't be my last. What I got was very good, but compared to other Italian and/or pizzerias, I have to rate them on the high-end of average. As I always say, I compare American pizza to American pizza in accordance to location. If I really wanted to be a stickler, almost ALL American pizza - which includes the BIG3 (New York, Chicago, Detroit) - would be severely lacking compared to traditional Italian pizza that I have eaten from Italy. But as an American slice, what SP serves is on average, but like I said, high-end. I ordered the margherita and caprese pizzas and they were cooked well in their brick-style oven and served conditionally well. However, there are many pizza places that have the same expertise and deliver the same quality. With that in mind, SP is good, but just as good as the "common good" pizzeria. To me, they don't have the standout as Genna or Pizza Gallery. The garlic knots, well, they were good, too. Can't really mess up garlic knots unless you really try to. And to top it off, the restaurant had the overarching themes of a typical New York style Italian restaurant (Italian flags, checkered tableclothes, etc.) and the staff was both helpful and friendly. Restrooms, at least the men's restroom, was clean, too. Ultimately, I would return here if I happen to want pizza and be nearby, but I am not driving out of the way to eat here. Like I said, SP is not bad, but they are a dime a dozen thus far. Maybe my review will update when I try their classic Italian dishes, but as of now, I am simply saying they are good, and if you choose to eat here at least for the pizza, you wouldn't do anything wrong choosing them. If SP's food stands out from other Italian restaurants, then I might consider improving the rating. However, if they remain good on averge across the board, they'll get another star if they are at least consistent.

I tried Genna Express before and thought it was okay, but it was missing that true coal fired flavor I was looking for. Today, I happened to be near the mothership, Genna Pizza Company, and I am so glad I stopped in. I ordered the special with 2 slices and a soda, sat at the bar, and got to watch the team in action. I watched one of the guys working the dough and could literally see the attention to detail that goes into their pizza. Then I saw the coal burning in the oven, and it all made sense. This is the flavor I have been searching for. The pizza was outstanding. Great crust, great flavor, and that authentic coal fired taste that is hard to find. The staff was friendly, the place had great energy, and the jam packed parking lot told the story before I even walked in. Genna Pizza Company is the real deal. The star pizza was our fave and the burrata! If you've never had burrata you need to.
