Big pasta mistake. I ordered the meatball penne pasta. They grabbed precooked pasta and added marinara and ricotta and mixed it before me in a tin. Not so appetizing. Then they grabbed precut meatball chunks before covering everything with mozzarella. The presentation was acceptable. The result however left much more to be desired. The pasta was very dry and inundated with cheese. More marinara might have helped but I was truly disappointed. My wife's pizza was good but this was not the best use of $40. I asked if bread was available and I was told that this was not a true Italian restaurant. The table was cleaned upon request but the benches and chairs were designed to move you out quickly. Not a cushioned seat in the house. Lighting and music were adequate.

My empty plate. I ate the whole pie!

My first time here. Never heard of before so I thought I would share my experience. Great concept of building your own pie. From the size, sauce, toppings. I ordered the smaller pie of 7 inch and did a #5, Hot Honey Pepperoni. Holy WOW!!! Let's just say adding the basil and honey after baking is brilliant!! The service was perfec! What's missing is music, and a sense of excitement and energy. The interior is spot on! It has a feeling of it's been here a while. Brick walls, iron piping for dividers, but it needs some music. A sound system or jukebox. Overall I love this place. Highly recommended.

It was my last day in Palm Springs and my friend and I decided to get a pizza from Your Pie which was literally next door to the Tesla SUpercharger (I needed a super-charge before heading home). The ordering process was pretty easy as I did it online via the website. I ordered a personal size Lineage pizza and my friend ordered the Nat's Chicken Pesto Bake. My order was ready in about 20 minutes and I drove home with it. The restaurant itself was very quiet with only one table that was occupied so I was able to pick up my order quickly. Service was quick and professional. The pizza itself was quite with a fairly thin crust (which I prefer). The personal size pizza was perfect for one person and my friend enjoyed the pasta. For a quick and easy bite, I will come by here again.

    Pizzzzzza!

We went to Worldmark Indio resort for the weekend. We wanted pizza. We looked up nearby places. Your Pie is around the corner about 7 minutes away. We placed our order online while chllin in the lazy river. Ordering is super easy. We ordered Hot honey pepperoni pizza, Nat's chicken pesro bake, a greek salad, and bread sticks. We highly recommend. Exceeded our expectations. We will definitely order again.

Go somewhere else. Customer service is horrible. Employees are rude and totally unhelpful. You may as well just order dominoes.

The menu might be considered small however plenty of excellent choices for everyone's palate. We started with martinis Aviation gin for me & Ketel 1 for my hubs complete with bleu cheeses olives served tall & verrry cold. Our appetizer choice, the deep fried artichokes served with a creamy tasty aioli nicely presented however a bit over salted for our tastes, hence the 4.5 vs 5 stars. We came in to Italica wanting pasta the Bolognese with wild boar/fennel sausage arrived practically overflowing from the bowl, easily could have served 2 or possibly an appetizer to share at the table. My choice the Spaghetti Alio Olio presented bucatini pasta with bread crumbs & pecorino cheese ~ OOOOH MY, sooooo DELICIOUS my bowl was inhaled. Mid meal we ordered the prosciutto ~ fig jam flatbread just perfection the jam adding sweetness in every crunchy bite. To full from our appetizer & pasta we skipped dessert this trip but we'll be back!!!!!! as the drive to Indio from Palm Desert is maybe 30 min (+\~) easy & plentiful FREE PARKING be sure to look for the all stainless patchwork door for entry, once inside relax & enjoy the vibe.

Kiki's Sala: salanova lettuce is unusual but tasty -- like arugula without the bitterness. This is a large portion which you could share with four people as an appetizer. Sugar Snap Pea pizza: unexpected flavors with snap peas, mushrooms, & stracciatella. Table was divided on whether this worked. Cacio e Pepe: this version uses bucatini and is a little creamier than the classic. I ate it all regardless. Grilled Avocado: the name ignores that it includes fried artichokes as well. Satisfying and not too garlicky. Another large portion. The only disappointing item was the Polenta -- a little bland. If you get the Chicken Parm, you only need a half portion. Jack says the best two dishes are the Caesar and Linguini & Clams. They fly in Juniors cheesecake from NY! Full bar, attractive ambiance, and well trained staff. Go to Kiki's.

What really impressed us was the owner making the rounds to personally greet each table--it added such a personal, heartfelt touch that you don't often see. As for the food, it absolutely delivered. The chicken parm was perfectly cooked with rich, comforting flavors, and the hanger steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Ciros is a long time staple in the community and has been open since the 60's - which is beyond impressive in these times. We should all continue to support our local staples that have been serving generation after generation. We came in for a super early weeknight dinner and that was the right move. The place was empty and relaxed. However, as we finished our meal a slow trickle of people started to come in which was nice to see. Not sure if this spot ever gets "packed" but it had a good amount of regulars and plenty of takeout orders. We sat at a comfortable booth and I liked the decor. Very old school, slightly aged, but all of the nostalgic vibes that if you were a local growing up here, it'd feel like home. What's also cool is they have an open area kitchen in the front of the restaurant so you can watch the chef make your pizzas. Loved it. Staff was friendly, efficient and attentive. Again, they weren't busy but staff kept our drinks filled, cleared plates as needed and provided great service. 5 stars definitely on the service and overall welcoming atmosphere. Prices were standard and I will say they give great portion sizes. All of us had leftovers to take home which is always a good thing. The food is standard old school Italian. Very mom And pop, decent. I'd say I'd rate the food between 3.5-4 stars but it really depends what you get. My starter side salad was crisp, fresh and well dressed with thousand island. Also the bread basket was warm and addicting. For my meal I got the shrimp scampi pasta which I thought was good but not amazing. The highlights were the large shrimp and noodles were cooked perfect. The oil - lemon - garlic sauce overall was just okay. Garlic was garlic-ing but it lacked maybe seasoning? I think scampi pasta dishes can be hard to master as they sometimes feel more oil forward than buttery, which I would have preferred. I definitely liked my dish but would get something different the next time. Truly their classic baked pasta and red sauce dishes looked fantastic and I'd get that next time, can't beat a classic.

When we came in we were greeted by a very nice girl with Red Highlights in her hair. I would tell you her name but there were no name badges. We placed our order at the counter and proceeded to wait almost 45 minutes for our salad to come to our table. Our pizza came next about 10 minutes later and then one half of our order of wings came out about 4 minutes after the pizza. The other half came out about 2 minutes after that. If you're reading this and wondering if that order seems off, we thought the same thing. We ordered an X-Large Pizza half pepperoni and half cheese. We ordered an order of 12 Buffalo Wings mild and 12 Sheri-something wings.(Their signature wings.) We also ordered a large BBQ salad. The pizza seemed like the cheese side was a little thinner than the pepperoni side. This may be usual and I'm not sure because it was our first time here. To be fair I don't mind the crust a little thinner so this was okay. The flavor wasn't bad to be honest on anything we ate but nothing was super spectacular that would have warranted an hour wait. I also forgot to mention they were not busy. When we came in there were still several tables empty. Mind you it's not a big dining room. Going back to the service. They only gave us 2 plates to eat our food. We are a family of 4. When I asked for 2 more plates they never brought them back so I had to go ask for 2 more plates at the register. The plates they gave me were wet and the girl said sorry they just got washed. We also asked for Blue Cheese with the wings and got ranch. Not a big deal but the girl said she would bring the blue cheese out to us and we never got it. We just ended up eating ranch instead. We also used the restroom and the floors were slippery. Not sure how that happens but my son thought they were slippery because he had cleats on and I let him know daddy has regular shoes and I was still slipping. No idea why the floor was slippery. I just figured they didn't mop correctly? The girl with the red highlights was doing her best. She really was trying to do everything it seemed. There were several dirty tables of people who were eating before we got there and had left. I put some pictures on here just to show we weren't exaggerating. I'm not sure if this place was short staffed or this was a regular night but I can assure you me and my family would never go back. Not sure how this place had 4.3 stars but I would never refer this place based off of our experience.

It became the reference point of the table, discussed long after the plates were cleared. I entrusted Carlos (who I adore) with selecting my entrée, a decision made without hesitation. The staff is incredibly educated on each dish, and Carlos makes the most spectacular suggestion: the Beet Ravioli. His guidance always feels intuitive and assured, reflecting a dining room that understands intention as well as appetite. Service at Trattoria Mezzomondo is polished and professional, marked by genuine pride in the establishment. The staff engages effortlessly with both regulars and visitors, creating an atmosphere that is welcoming without sacrificing precision-- they treat you like family and, for me, the feel is mutual. Having watched this restaurant grow, it is remarkable how it has retained its core identity. Its commitment to authenticity--rooted in a reverence for craft and tradition--has sharpened my own expectations of cuisine, making neighboring establishments diminutive by contrast. The Chef demonstrates remarkable command across the menu--combustible genius. From the most restrained preparations to dessert, each plate is thoughtfully executed, with clarity of flavor and disciplined presentation. I travel often, Italy included, and yet Mezzo distinguishes itself not by imitation, but by authorship. This is the type of excellence that precludes replication. Each dish is shaped by the senses, seemingly satisfying a singular culinary vision. It's more than a meal, it's art. Why go here? Because they introduce you to something genuinely special: a new way to experience familiar flavors. Their take on traditional dishes blends the unexpected into a desperately welcomed harmony of ingredients. There is a clear distinction at work here, evident at every level of the dining experience. It would be unsurprising to see Mezzo recognized with a MICHELIN Star distinction soon.
