My husband and I decided we wanted to move our large Veno Temp (wine refrigerator) to our back…read moregarage from our front garage. The unit weights at least 400 pounds. In our younger days we would have moved it ourselves, But we're in our 60's now and thought we should hire someone to move it for us especially since it had to be tipped back pretty far to get it out of the front garage. I spoke to David to set up the move. He and I agreed to a price and a couple of other items that I wanted moved. We set a day and time. He called me the day before to confirm the day and time. Then on the day we'd agreed to he called early and asked if he could send his guys over early to move the Vino Temp. I agreed to have them come over early. The guys moved the Veno Temp, a couch and chair very quickly and efficiently. They did a great job!! I highly recommend using them. Very professional and personable as well! I will use them in the future if we have any moving needs.

There were no surprises and both Ben and Dave called the day of the move to make sure everything was done exactly how we wanted. The crew of 4 that showed up were a pleasure to work with as well. They were all very kind and professional and you could tell that even though they were working hard doing something not many enjoy doing, they made the most of it and had fun with it. It is always a hit and miss when you open up a truck after driving it almost 1000 miles but when I opened the truck up at the end of my trip, everything was still exactly where they placed it! I made sure I had plenty of blankets, plastic wrap, ratchet straps, etc so that they were not short anything and they used a lot of what I had there which I was thankful for. Will for sure use them again when and if we have anything else to move around.

TL/DR if you're looking to support local movers, choose this group, look no further…read more Let's start with the pros: 1. Responsive to quotes and questions. 2. For a 2.5 hour local move I paid $400. Better than most local places and national chains I was quoted... 3. They don't charge extra for blankets or equipment used. They wrapped things up well and took care of my stuff. 4. Friendly staff. 5. Worked with me to secure time! Elite tips/things to consider: 1. They bill based on time. So if the team gets stuck in traffic, you'll be paying for that time. Consider your times when you book. Ex) when it is high traffic... 8am vs 10 am 2. 2 hour minimum for all jobs. 3. While there's friendly staff, one of the team members dispatched for my job was significantly faster and better at triaging/organizing. If both were like that I think my job would have been done in 2 hours and I could have saved some money. If I had to do it all over I would consider Sagebrush Movers.
