It is easy enough to get into the agents but we had to climb a number of stairs to get to the room. The staff were okay but could have been friendlier.

Yet another letting agents…read more They're the most cheerful looking ones I've come across, which isn't saying much but just look at that exciting purple exterior and the name itself. Mind blowing. You may be able to deduce that I'm a little frustrated with MY letting agents at the moment so it's unfair to take it out on Umega. I noticed that they let out flats for the festival; having just experienced my first Fringe Festival, it's definitely worth coming down for but I'm not sure I'd sign such a contract for it! (I did not know this at that time, I only found that later). - They advertised the flat as having TV aerial, when in fact the aerial wasn't working. It took two months of back-and-fourths to have it installed. - We had two water leaks in the flat during one month. And there was another one before we moved in. The flat had other problems as well with the heating stopping to operate They actually knew about all these problems but preferred just to nicely decorate the house to attract tenants and did not care about the issues. We found no support from them after the leaks, when he had to move out with our little kid because the flat was not in living conditions. And in top of all this, they forced us to pay the rent for the remaining months well, they took it from us in advance. Thanks Clan Gordon. Facts speak for themselves.

I used the services of Chris at Chris Mackenzie Photography for a business project and was so…read moreimpressed I recommended him to my family for a personal photoshoot as well. So this review is about both types of service. The photoshoot was a gift, and not something you do every day, so it has to be good, and boy it was! I was part of the family event that was being photographed so had to pose for some of them (not my favourite thing to do!) but I love the resulting photos. Because I originally hired Chris to carry out product photography, having seen his food photography work, I had no worries that the product photography was going to be great. It's better than that, it's outstanding. What was really fantastic though was that his portrait/family shots were just as good, even though they are totally different subjects and require a different skill and approach. Multiskilled, adaptable team of folk these. We went on to get a lot of copies of the family shots for other family members. It's the gift that keeps giving! On each day of the shoot, Chris and his team adopted an approach that was calm, professional and collaborative. They were professional, and kind - essential when photographing humans! And they were a whole lot of fun! Chris went the extra mile in the shoot and in the finishing, very well recommended by my gang and I.
