1) I had arranged for rep from the company to look at a possible damp issue in the house. He did not show up at the time and day as had been arranged. I called him and he claimed he had tried to call me to say he was. I told him that when booking the time, I had told the person making the appointment I could only make it for that hour and not earlier nor later. In any case, I checked my phone but found no one had tried to call me that day.
2) Anyway, the rep arranged to come another day the following week. Just to be sure he would come this time, on that morning, I called the company to confirm he would be coming. I was told he was off sick that day. I asked why someone from the company did not inform me. If I had not called them, I would have waited again to no avail. I was told he would be back in two days time when he'd returned back to work
3) Two days later, the rep did called me but he said he could not fix a date yet to see me . He said he would have to contact his secretary and that he'd call me back in a hour's time later in the morning. I did not get a call back from him .
4) A few days later, I called the company to asked what has happened as I was waiting for a call to arrange for the rep to come. Someone did call me later to arrange a new date for the rep to come.
5) On that new date. I called the office again but this time, I was informed it was not the date in the diary but it was another day. I mentioned that I was really disappointed as I had made so many attempts to see the rep to no avail. They indicated to me if I didn't like it, they could just cancelled the appointment date in their diary as if threatening if I did not like it, I could just go away. I thought it was not a good attitude to deal with customers. Begrudgingly, I agreed to see them the following day
6) After thinking over during the night, the following morning, I called the company office to ask them to cancel the appointment visit from their rep
as I thought the way they treated me was very poor . I also did not intend to spend thousands of pounds doing business with a company which had not shown themselves to me to be very reliable from my experience.
7) However, I had a call in the afternoon from the rep to say he was outside my house. I told him that I have called his office in the morning to cancel the meeting. He started shouting at me on the phone and said "You're p*ssing me off" or something to that extend. I had thought that was not at all professional.
If there is a "Zero Stars" or even Negative "Four Stars" rating for my experience with this company, I would put that.
