Always turned up on time and kept the noise and mess to a minimum which was important to us because of our children. He also recommended where I could buy the hardware on the internet saving me literally hundreds of pounds if I had bought locally, even before I had taken him on for the job. His price was exceedingly reasonable and beat the other estimates I recieved. He proved that you can get quality cheaper.

The guy that came in talk about what else I "really need" to have installed. Starting from a new boiler, to draft installations and a power flush. Everything was done within the last few years. The first…read morething the gentlemen said when I opened the door was a lengthy complaint about how far away our house was from their business - which, presumably, they'd known about as soon as my husband gave them our address. He then proceeded to spend over half an hour patronising me (and suggesting the house wasn't mine!) before finally fixing our tap. When I asked how much it was, he refused to tell me and simply said 'we'll send you an invoice', then went off, STILL complaining about how long it had taken them to drive to us. The invoice arrived many days later (with half the address wrong and an incomplete postcode - which might explain how long it took to get to us), and they'd charged a whopping £126 to fix one tap. (Yes, you've guessed it - that included travel time.) I'd give them a wide berth.
