    Orange chicken and lo mein

The restaurant looks a bit sketchy from the outside, but it has great reviews, which is why we gave it another try. General Tso's chicken wasn't that impressive, but the orange chicken, lo mein, and egg rolls were great. The chicken dumplings were good too. Everything came out warm and hot enough to enjoy. I've been here before, and honestly, I felt it was better the last time, but the standout dishes are still worth trying.

A surprisingly impressive find for Thai in Spring Branch. This hole-in-the-wall establishment may have an outdated exterior and decor (there was even an old random motorcycle inside, not sure what the story is there), but don't let appearances fool you, the food is quite good here. I came here for lunch on a weekday and noticed a steady stream of takeout orders. The menu offers a variety of Asian cuisines, including Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese.. We decided to try out a few noodle dishes. The Basil noodles were hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right quantity of meat/noodles. (Already better than some of the fancier places around town) I also tried a few bites of the Pad Thai, which was equally well made. The chef even came out to say hi to us as we were leaving, which added a friendly touch. Would definitely come back again!

Food was okay, pad Thai flavor/sauce barely held taste throughout. Tofu was nice and crispy and I love the small size. Very saucy which isn't bad but isn't good. Cream of Tom Yum wasn't bad either and definitely better than the pad Thai. Nice spice at being mild. However my rating and concern comes from the cleanliness of the interior. They say don't judge a book by its cover but definitely the cover was better than the content and that's not a compliment. I knew I should've passed on this place but wanted to give it a shot. I hope the owners do more to clean up the inside and then work on the outside because the encounter we had inside was a HUGE problem.

So satisfied with the food here. If you looking for a place which has delicious Thai food but not too fancy inside, this restaurant might be that one. The service was great and waitress so friendly and supportive. She always makes sure that we have nice experience and ask us some feedback about food. I ordered red curry, chicken satay and Thai basil. Everything was so tasty and not too spicy. Love it here!!! Don't be hesitant by the look! Just come and enjoy

I ordered here about a year ago with my boyfriend and have been begging him to go back with me after he found it. I ordered the pad Thai hot but I would recommend the Thai hot. I couldn't remember which was the better one and I love spice so next time. I will be getting that.

I had a craving for Pad Thai, so I checked out Yelp. The reviews there looked promising compared to other local places, so I decided to place an order. I went for the spicy basil noodles with chicken and a Thai tea, and I added some edamame as well. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was initially skeptical, but my doubts lessened when I saw another customer pull up. The restaurant itself was quaint. After a brief five-minute wait, my order was ready. The edamame was decent, and the Thai tea was tasty. However, the standout dish was definitely the basil noodles. They were absolutely perfect - I will definitely be returning for more.

Don't get fooled by the outside of the restaurant. At first when we got there, we were hesitant to try. However, the food were actually pretty tasty. Tried pad Thai, it's on the wet side, but yummy. Green curry was great. Would've tried basil noodles next time. But just wish we can adjust the spice level we like our Thai food spicy

It's a lot of food and it's good the problem is the ambiance. Kind of dirty on the inside and they use the main dining area as a storage room. I think it should be 3.5 stars.

Did this restaurant close down? Just went by at 7pm (Thursday evening) and it was closed. No sign or anything outside. No answer when calling. My wife and I enjoyed picking up food here from time to time. Oh well.

Maybe they closed early for the day? There's a chicken shop on the same street that everytime we go by they are closed but have hours to 9pm. Maybe they sold out for the day?

On my most recent visit we ordered mapo tofu with pork intestines off the specials menu - a hybrid of two of my favorite Sichuan-style dishes. The blend of bouncy, savory morsels amidst tender, saucy tofu was at once revolutionary and so obvious; why hadn't I yet seen this at any other restaurant? And sure, innards may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's important for you to know that none of my past orders from the 50+ item menu have ever failed me, whether enjoyed in the restaurant or at home. Maybe you'd prefer the aromatic, classic, perfectly balanced three-cup chicken? Or the sweet-skinned duck, glazed so delicately that specks of sugar crystal threaten to jump off onto the plate as you pick up a juicy slice with your chopsticks? And if you're vegetarian, might you consider the punchy garlic eggplant or the wok-kissed string beans? I could go on. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself, though I'd recommend parallel parking on the neighborhood streets behind the restaurant rather than the rocky parking lot, to save you some trouble. Bring friends and chow down family style - you'll need help covering as much of the menu as you can, but you'll definitely have to come back to try everything.

My friend Aurora wanted to meet Donna early dinner and gossip session and she really liked this place. (We tried having a team lunch at the Rice Village location during the cold front last Oct but they had no heat so we opted for a warmer place but she grabbed a to go on the way home) Here we are for a late lunch 3:45 pm on a Friday. Parking was none had to drive around the block and saw some movement and bam, someone was leaving. We ordered at the bar, staff was super nice and opted to sit outside. Did not realize they deliver to the table. Order: Mongolian beef combo with fried rice and egg roll $14.99 The food comes in takeaway style containers. Win. Mongolian beef (2.5/5) - slightly over sauced for me; beef was pretty tender and there were carrots and edamame which is not the standard so maybe that's what makes it fusion? Fried rice (3/5) - standard style fried with small pieces of bean sprouts which I love so that was a nice surprise Egg roll (3/5) - I assume it was chicken because I didn't realize there was a choice) - it was crunchy and soft on the inside which I like, and pairs well with sriracha (did not eat till I got home) They seem to do a whole lot of take away. The staff were nice and hard working. I was excited when they first opened bc they had chow fun on the menu and being HK Cantonese, I love that dish but when I ordered it the 1st and 2nd time eight years ago instead of bean sprouts they had cabbage and that alters rhe flavor tremendously. I see why it's popular among the people but just don't think it is for my taste.

She immediately asked what we wanted in a rude tone, which set an uncomfortable atmosphere from the start. There was a sign on the table advertising a "free appetizer" if you take a photo and tag the restaurant on social media. I followed the instructions exactly as stated, but when I mentioned it, the server initially refused to honor the promotion. After I pointed out the sign, she appeared upset and walked away. I saw she went to speak to another employee and cracked a smiled and looked over. She later returned and offered a small discount instead. The issue wasn't about the money or the discount, it was the principle. The promotion was clearly advertised, and I simply followed the restaurant's own policy. It was disappointing to feel like the restaurant was reluctant to honor something they were actively promoting. I hope management addresses this because customer service and consistency with advertised promotions make a big difference in the overall dining experience.
