Food was okay, pad Thai flavor/sauce barely held taste throughout. Tofu was nice and crispy and I love the small size. Very saucy which isn't bad but isn't good. Cream of Tom Yum wasn't bad either and definitely better than the pad Thai. Nice spice at being mild. However my rating and concern comes from the cleanliness of the interior. They say don't judge a book by its cover but definitely the cover was better than the content and that's not a compliment. I knew I should've passed on this place but wanted to give it a shot. Located at the corner of Bunker Hill and Long Point, this restaurant is a small nondescript building in a semi run down shopping plaza on Long Point. The interior is a very 90's / early 00's style but I do appreciate the hole in the wall feel and authenticity to not overly appeal to the millennials. We got the basil noodles with pork and pad Thai with chicken. I really enjoyed the pad Thai though it was a little bit on the sweet side. The basil noodles were good but I do prefer the pad see ew from some other Thai spots in terms of flavor. I like your food and your prices a lot but can you PLEASE, switch to paper based containers for take out because it is so so so so so concerning to me to eat from melted styrofoam containers. Love that your food is fresh and piping hot but it is also melting the take out boxes that you currently use, PLEASE change them to a safer option. She informed us the Father has his Skull emblazed motorcycle parked inside the restaurant! Super cool! I can't say enough about the food!! Everything was fresh and so good. I got the basil and beef noodle dish and asked them to kick it up to hot. Amazing!! The beef was clean and without grizzle.... Super tender. Our family also had orange chicken, beef broccoli and shrimp and rice. Definitely ZERO complaints and talking...... the table was silent of conversation...... just a lot of ummmm ummmm good!! I have only tried the sesame chicken, but found it absolutely wonderful and somewhat different than what I am used to from Chinese restaurants. I suppose it is the influence. The rice was particularly wonderful and the egg roll was juicy and big. I'm anxious to go back and try more . This place has more burglar bars than San Quentin. It doesn't make me want to go there after dark. But they do have a drive-through and that's something. I hope they are successful enough to move to a more family, friendly location someday.
