So for being the first time dining here I have to say I'm going back many more times cause I do travel by here a lot. I make sure people understand that this is a review from my experience at that time. So let's start with the service. I'm pretty sure the young ladies name was Callie (probably spelt it wrong). She was very good at her job. Just remember she was by herself along with the cook at the time I ate there. She was super nice and polite. You could sit at the bar or at a table with a window view. The food was excellent and a lot of it. The food did come pretty fast after the order. Then menu had a lot to choose from. So if your in there neck of the woods and your hungry for a great breakfast, then you should stop by. The locals are nice too. I say leave a nice tip cause this is a small business that deserves kindness.

If you see this on the door, you're in the right place!

My husband and I had planned to go exploring in the Santa Canyon, and online he had found a little restaurant called "The Little Beaver Restaurant." Being an OSU alum and rabid fan, I love all things Beaver-related, OSU or not, so he planned to take me there. It appears that this restaurant goes by both Country Kitchen and The Little Beaver Restaurant, but the sign out front is TLBR :) I had the chicken fajita wrap and my husband had the teriyaki burger. The menu doesn't have anything particularly unusual, but it is large for a small place and the food quality is very good. I got the feeling that the employees were familiar with all of the other patrons, which makes sense. Lyons is out of the way from other population centers. But we weren't made to feel unwelcome in any way. If you're heading out on highway 22, this makes a nice little stop for lunch!

Great place to take the family. Large portions and friendly service. Nice selections and very close to a great County Park.

They are just that committed to taking care of people, and it shows. The negative reviews here are hilarious! You can walk in wearing a tuxedo if you want to (if you do, definitely lead with that in your review because it definitely helps... uhhhh... set "context"). They'll still make you a great burger, but don't blame the locals if you feel out of place, or it drips yummy deliciousness on your Armani, or you had to wait a few minutes before they realized you don't know how to respect the busy staff of one enough to place your order at the bar if you're in a hurry. I think they have a staff of 30 or so, a Tesla Supercharger, and your "The Metropolitan" cocktail waiting at Red Robin back in town if you're into that sort of thing. If you're expecting heat lamp fast-food or a tour of the wine cellar, you might... ...you know what, fuck it, this review is getting way too long, you already got the idea, and I'd rather be at the Red Barn.

This was a trip to the Sweet Home, Oregon area to hike McDowell Creek Falls. (Highly recommend the falls hike). On our way, we stopped at The Point, just outside of Sweet Home. Not much to look at from the outside and kind of a diner atmosphere inside. Somewhere, I read you had a "view" to the water. As you can see from the picture, it's a view (sort of) to Foster Reservoir. OK. However, the food and service were surprisingly good! I ordered the special of the day, a Chipotle Burger. Cooked perfectly with 1/3 lb local beef patty, bacon, chipotle sauce, lettuce, red onion and accompanied by some very good fries. My wife had the grilled cheese and it was awesome as well. Her only complaint was it had too much bacon. Yes, you heard that right, too much bacon. I also have been trying NA beers and the only brand I have found I like is Deschutes out of Bend. They had a Golden that I hadn't heard of and it was, in true Deschutes fashion, very good. Our server was Becky and she was amazing. She greets the regulars by name, was very helpful and informative, but not too chatty. If we were in this area again, we would definitely go back. Without hesitation. Great find!

The food is meh, nothing to be excited about. We had the Kobe burger, ok enough and the sweet potato fries, limp. So yeah, not going out of my way to stop here.
