They are just that committed to taking care of people, and it shows. The negative reviews here are hilarious! You can walk in wearing a tuxedo if you want to (if you do, definitely lead with that in your review because it definitely helps... uhhhh... set "context"). They'll still make you a great burger, but don't blame the locals if you feel out of place, or it drips yummy deliciousness on your Armani, or you had to wait a few minutes before they realized you don't know how to respect the busy staff of one enough to place your order at the bar if you're in a hurry. I think they have a staff of 30 or so, a Tesla Supercharger, and your "The Metropolitan" cocktail waiting at Red Robin back in town if you're into that sort of thing. If you're expecting heat lamp fast-food or a tour of the wine cellar, you might... ...you know what, fuck it, this review is getting way too long, you already got the idea, and I'd rather be at the Red Barn.

Traveling to Bend from Salem…read more I missed the exit for the first restaurant YELP recommended so we pushed on to find this GEM of a cafe. It's small......just a few tables so you might think it's just a shop, at least we did at first glance. But we were hungry and decided to give it a try. Their hours are only 11:00-2:00 and we were handed a lunch menu. We had wanted breakfast but the cook said she'd be happy to make us some eggs and bacon with toast. She tossed in some delicious country potatoes and fruit too! The coffee was fresh and delicious! Service was exceptional. Felt almost like family. So much I almost offered to help with dishes ;-) We were even given some coconut cake ("the first piece is free") It was a wonderful start to the last leg of our trip. (Highly recommend the falls hike). On our way, we stopped at The Point, just outside of Sweet Home. Not much to look at from the outside and kind of a diner atmosphere inside. Somewhere, I read you had a "view" to the water. As you can see from the picture, it's a view (sort of) to Foster Reservoir. OK. However, the food and service were surprisingly good! I ordered the special of the day, a Chipotle Burger. Cooked perfectly with 1/3 lb local beef patty, bacon, chipotle sauce, lettuce, red onion and accompanied by some very good fries. My wife had the grilled cheese and it was awesome as well. Her only complaint was it had too much bacon. Yes, you heard that right, too much bacon. I also have been trying NA beers and the only brand I have found I like is Deschutes out of Bend. They had a Golden that I hadn't heard of and it was, in true Deschutes fashion, very good. Our server was Becky and she was amazing. She greets the regulars by name, was very helpful and informative, but not too chatty. If we were in this area again, we would definitely go back. Without hesitation. Great find!

The pork chop and beef medallions entrees were so tender and flavorful and cooked to perfection. The chimichurri on the beef medallions was vibrant, herbaceous, with a little spicy heat. My friend had the pork chop and she said it was the best she has had. Food aside, the Magnolia Grill wait staff were phenomenal. We were greeted warmly and immediately once in the door. We were seated right away and the ambiance of the restaurant is very welcoming. The staff were attentive, professional, and friendly. We had the best service we've had in a restaurant in years.
