Out of all the places we ate at over the weekend. This was the best spot. Came back on our way out and decided when we come back through we will always stop here.

So glad we stopped in! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the vibe of the restaurant and the staff was very friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was top tier and seasoned perfectly. We went for breakfast and I wish I was still in the area for dinner.

We've driven by this place for years. Today we actually decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. It's a roadside place and if you blink as you speed into Mill City, you'll miss it. But definitely stop in! You order at the counter first thing. This saves the awkward wait at the end of your meal for the check. You bus your own table, so that frees up the staff for personal delivery of your food. And the food? Hubby ordered the jalapeño burger and tots. It was perfect. A little overdone, but when a burger is cooked on a flat iron that's ok. The tots were a little overdone but how do you mess up a tot? Yum! I had the avo burger and fries. The fries are double cooked and crispy. The burger was served with thousand Island and pepper jack cheese. I was so full after eating but it was impossible not to eat it all. And I have to tell you ....having pepsi at a food place with burgers and fries like these was such a fantastic change. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is rustic, and the service was super efficient and fast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Like I mentioned earlier, the personal delivery of my meal was a great touch. TIP: exit the restaurant in the back, take a right out of the lot and drive through the town. It will make it easier to cross the traffic if you're heading west. Don't forget to use the median! Like I said. You've driven by this place a million times. But since the fires of 2020 devastatedthis area, we deserve to stop and give this little hometown place some love.

Walt from Walt's Adventures finishing my tour of Oregon at the roadside restaurant, The Get-A-Way. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This eatery has indoor dining only but can do take out service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Approach the counter and grab a menu for this establishment's gold seal is customer service. Their main menu is not seen but is available on the counter. One menu that is visible is their shake menu. Pleasure your tastebuds and order a shake. Their shakes are the real deal for they are delicious and thick. Their food is good and I look forward to returning to this eatery in the future if I am ever in the area again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment you walk in the door, you enjoy that appetizing smoke/bbq aroma.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then experience the friendly and helpful service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Looking around at the decor keeps your interest while you await the delivery of delicious and creative dishes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You can't leave without a milkshake!! Worth the drive!

Went here recently for lunch with my kiddo. The food was very good! The staff were also incredibly friendly. I was very impressed and will definitely be going again. Well worth the drive. (We live 40 minutes away)

Excellent customer service. The food was very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place for the entire family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We highly recommend stopping.

Breakfast combo with scrambled cheese eggs, pancakes, thick cut bacon, sausage & smashed potatoes.

Awesome breakfast... best thick cut bacon amd their own versiin of homefries (smasjed potatos deep fried and season) were off the charts and the country fried steak was perfect. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My son and I happened upon this spot for breakfast on our way from Silver Falls State Park to Bend and while it is pretty basic by appearances inside and out, the food and service were great surprises.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would be regukars if we lived anywhere nearby.

I was a little worried walking in but let me tell you, this place is amazing! The milkshakes were phenomenal. Loved the house burger, so juicy and excellent flavor. The waffle fries are yum! We also had the bbq pork Mac and cheese and it was great. Highly recommend!

I am told...They had great alcoholic beverages (said half of our party-not everyone had alcohol). The food was mixed reviews. 1) steak bites were delicious. Blue cheese butter is thebomb.com. 2) everything else was sub par. Burger was supposed to be med-rare, came out well done/jerky. Pizza was raw dough, not melted cheese and they pulled it "because the sides were burning." They could have put foil around it and actually cooked it. OR recommend we stick with regular pizza dough when we confirmed we don't have an allergy but was wanting a "lighter" low carb pizza. They also had an anecdote of another customer who ordered the cauli pizza but served them regular dough and it was a true food allergy and a problematic experience for the customer (??? Why would you choose to share that? lol). Tbh a nuked hot pocket will cook the cheese better than our pizza was. Salads were ok. Nothing to rave about. Desserts were ok I'm told. Didn't have any myself. I was done at that point. Service needs improvement. Not just weird PTSD patronage stories shared, but I felt bad dragging family out to the area so I tried paying without them knowing, slipping the credit card toward the waitress without everyone at the table noticing. And she knocked the card out of my hand when reaching for plates, announcing that "your credit card fell." I don't care if it was my bday or not I wasn't going to make my family pay for this meal. I would not come back and I don't recommend it. For everything it was ~$160 +40 tip which I feel salty about giving considering the quality of our meal and service. I'm a good tipper regardless of experience because it's the right thing to do/pay it forward, etc. but I was pissed driving home lol for $200 I could have picked up steak and lobster and cooked at home.

My fiance planned a wonderful mountain getaway for us, and lucky for me- we had dinner reservations here. It was so chilly in December, We had a cold mountain day, and we bundled up to go to our dinner reservations and I have to say- I wasn't expecting much when I heard the name "Grill". I was thinking- burgers, fries, your typical post-ski grub. I was wrooong! We strolled into the coziest little restaurant and were greeted by the two lovely people working there. Felt like I very sweet family vibe. They steered us in the directions of the pasta dishes we ordered, and we had the Soup of the Day to start- I believe it was some kind of Tomato bisque and that hit the spot. The Hazelnut pasta was a hit for my fiance, and I loved that he got to try such a classic Oregon flavor in a pasta- how fun. My chanterelle ravioli filled me up so fast, I also loved being able to try chanterelles in this format. Both dishes felt very creative and full of so much Oregon pride! Delicious!

The parking lot was crowded, but they were able to handle our party of 5 with 1 child easily. One of us held two glasses of iced water, and the rest stacked together empty, with a pitcher full of iced water, while the waitress seated us to our table. To order, you walk to the bar. They will deliver your food. All the adults ordered the same, Sampler plates with sides vary. The children ordered Cheese burger with fries, and Chicken strips with fries. Our sampler came with pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. I'm not fond of pulled pork, but I like the ribs and brisket. I also liked my fries and Caesar Salad, specially my fries. My youngest son didn't finished his baked beans, and hubby brought home some of his baked beans. On the bottom was bread & pickles. Oldest son wanted my pickles, but I gave one to grandson, and I ate the rest. We all agreed, our meal was great, including the peas! The sad part of this dinner? We wanted Coconut Cream Pie. We wanted 4 but they've ran out. This was our 51st Wedding Annniversary and Father's Day, and they've ran out of Coconut Cream Pie? Minus 1 star! BTW: The sun was hitting two of us in the group, so we alternate, and the rest remain where they were. It was still a beautiful day, to spend a meal outside. The noise of cars going by the highway, can be annoying. The restroom: it's clean and functional.
