    Passion fruit margarita

The decor is bright and fun with lots of art. Service was excellent and so was the food. I ordered the A la crema with shrimp. The shrimp tasted fresh and the creamy cheese sauce covering the rice was delicious. Tons of margarita flavor options! The spicy watermelon sounded delicious as well as passion fruit, coconut and guava. With so many choices it was a tough call, the passion fruit did not disappoint. I came on a Saturday evening around 6pm and they were not busy at all, maybe from the rain I got lucky?! Oh and my ticket had a QR code that allowed me to pay with Apple Pay right from my phone at my table. I'm excited to come back and try more. See you next time!

Service was amazing, staff member are nice and chips and salsa can be refilled. We ordered asada burrito, red Enchiladas with cheese and platter. Food was good. Authentic food however it seemed a bit bland. Red enchilada sauce was the only thing that was canned. The alcoholic drinks are AMAZING! Delicious! Nachos delicious.

Why? Why would you bring less than half a dish of salsa and a small handfull of chips?
    Michelle M.

Not the best experience this time. Don't bring me a dish 1/4 full of salsa and small handful of chips, some of which were over cooked. And don't make me ask twice to have my table cleaned.

Clean and tidy family restaurant with authentic Mexican food. Blended Margaritas available. Super friendly service. Best kept secret downtown.

So glad my friend suggested this spot!!! The Ceviche was on point-- very fresh tasting. My friend's burrito looked amazing as well. Staff is very accommodating and personable. Pricing is reasonable as well! Such a great addition to downtown Salem. Excuse the IG story quality of the photo. It looks even better in person.

Service are excellent. The staff are very welcoming customers and often checked if we are fine with the food. Their customer service received a 5 star. Only the beef was a little overcooked.

We told hostess we did not want to sit at the bar, she sat us at the bar, after some more wait, we did get a table. Coffee was ok, but the cups were huge, always 2/3 full of cold coffee. The food took one hour to find our table. Nothing special, my wife had an omelet, with a big glob of Brie cheese, overpowering the omelet. I had corned beef hash that was extremely dry and salty. I also had warm rye bread. Not toasted. We were half done with our breakfast, and was given the bill, and boxes to go. Very rushed, crowded, and expensive. $58 for sub-par breakfast for 2. Sorry WOM, didn't cut it.

The primary problem was that they were out of many menu items by 6pm. The dining room is cool with a nice vibe, super friendly waiter and food came from the kitchen pretty quickly. Weird arrangement with the coffee shop located in the restaurant as well. Restaurant was out of desserts and coffee, but could not serve any of the desserts from the coffee shop case, as those were part of the coffee shop. Despite that, we will be back next time we visit Salem, and I'm sure they will figure out how to manage supply of food items better so they are not sold out before 6pm. Turns out they're right next door, tucked back a bit from the roadway so easy to miss you and when you're sober. Glad I noticed it as we were driving off, as it's a great taphouse with a large number of beers on draft, in excess of 20 I believe. Service is very gracious, and you don't have to commit to official tasters, they're willing to pour you a little splash of several beers for you to figure out what it is you'd actually like to taste. That said, we opted to do an official flight of four IPAs, one of which was a hazy. All pretty interesting; ended up ordering a pint of one of them to share. Like a lot of tap rooms, they use the app DigitalPour to list their beers so you can check them out online if you like. We'll probably be back again.
