Jasmine went out of her way to be helpful when I brought in some old architectural plans, some of which were copied onto extra large paper, leaving a large white border around the plans. She made sure the plans were cut to normal architectural plan size so that I wouldn't be charged extra for the larger size. Since most architects and engineers use software to draw their plans these days, it can be helpful to provide them with PDF files instead of paper copies. I brought in two flash drives and she saved her files as PDFs on each flash drive so I was able to give one to our structural engineer and keep one for myself for our files. BPM Reprographics has been in business a long time and has worked with many large Marin companies and architects. Their prices are reasonable and they are highly professional and knowledgeable, and efficient.

We have been doing home building projects for several years and needing to get plans copied for various contractors giving us quotes, and the permit madness which attaches thereafter. An architect gave us a strong reference to NorthBay, and they were not wrong. I upload my files with some notes, and more often than not, he sends me back a notice "You can pick it up now!" before I am anywhere ready to do so. The occasional quick phone call, "Are you sure you want "X"? I can give you better and cheaper by doing "Y". He has also done a quick turnaround small job or two for us under pressure. I actually look forward to going up to see Peter to pick jobs up and chat for a second before he launches to the next job or the phone. No sweat, no worry, made in the shade......

Spoke with Leslie who apologized for the poor workmanship on the job. Pages were skewed and the pages themselves were not cut right. "I promise to call you tomorrow," Leslie said. Wednesday rolls around. Nothing. Today is Thursday, October 12 and I talked with some woman who really didn't care how I felt. Heading out now to pick up my book with nothing done on it. What was to have been a gift and mailed last week is no further along than it was 10 days ago. Picked up my little booklet and might as well as had the plague. Lady slaps my little book on the counter without an apology. I was on my way.
