Pass on this business! Not a fan of poor customer service!…read moreSuch a disappointing experience. Cleaners were fine but the owner is extremely unprofessional and obviously doesn't understand how to run her business. Negotiated a fair rate of $70 for a for a very simple 2 hour clean. Half way through the one person job, another joined to help complete the work because of a scheduling issue (first cleaner had to get to her second job.) They were out in 2 hours and 25 minutes. Probably would have been 2 hours, as agreed upon, if first cleaner didn't have to spend so much time talking to you and 2nd cleaner wasn't out in the parking lot having a smoke. Annie sent an email complaining about all of her operating costs and attempting to charge us for 4 hours instead. WHAT? Simple math, Annie. Also an agreed upon rate! Since when do cleaners charge by the head - isn't that your job to assess how many people will be needed for the job when you agree to the rate? Messages for Annie: When you agree upon a rate, you can't just decide to change it after the fact. Customers don't care about your operating costs. Customers need to know ahead if you plan to charge per cleaner that shows up to help complete the job. We're all in Fairport, Annie. Seriously, mileage and travel expenses? Learn your business. As others have reviewed this service takes zero accountability for doing a terrible job. I used…read morethis service one time and it was/continues to be a horrible experience. My house had been cleaned professionally for years in 4 man hours, yet 3 weeks after a prior professional clean it took this service 7 hours and my house was still dirty! Bathrooms weren't cleaned, windows still had hand prints from my children, the kitchen cabinets weren't cleaned, NOTHING was dusted... I could go on and on. Most importantly all of these items were discussed at length as top priority to me. When I returned home from errands I saw one employee with her phone in her hand and the other had her phone laid out in her sight of where she was working. When I brought these issues up to the owner, Ann, she was immediately insulting and tried to blame me for why the house was still dirty. Instead of apologizing and attempting to salvage the relationship she was rude and is now threatening to sue me. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. The combination of poor work and terrible management is a recipe for disaster **adding to her response- very typical. Still no accountability. I did not pay because my house was not cleaned. No payment for no service.

I am a busy parent, raising a child by myself and working two very demanding jobs to do it. Let's…read morejust say--things got out of hand around the house and I had no idea where to even begin. It was way beyond what a traditional maid service could handle, and I didn't know if there was anyone who actually did what I needed to be done without costing me a fortune or forcing me to air out my dirty laundry (literally) on one of those HGTV reality shows. The moment I called An Eye for Detail, I knew that Tamara was the right person to handle this task. Just mentioning one small issue over the phone, she figured out a way to solve the problem. Our first meeting, she had so many great suggestions, that I couldn't wait for her to get started. I was worried that I would have to hold someone's hand through the process--I do some of my work from home, and I need a lot of time undisturbed. Tamara seemed to have a sixth sense. She took over completely, arranging things in a logical manner, and dealing with those dark corners of things that collect but seem at the time too precious or painful to get rid of. I was amazed that one person could do everything she could handle (even lugging a 200 lb punching bag across the house by herself), and she was very fast, thorough, and honest (I even left her keys so she could work when we were out of town). The price is more than reasonable. For what I paid, I received such an immeasurable sense of relief that it is done and manageable. Even if I get busy and things go a few days without getting done, I have no fear that it will get to be out of the scope of what I can handle because Tamara made sure that everything has a place, and offered suggestions for how to curb the clutter before it ever occurs. Highly recommended.

ABSOLUTELY UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES use this company for your countertops. Everything was wonderful…read moreuntil this morning. We had a scheduled appointment for the repairing of the installers poor workmanship of sealing the counters and sink. My wife tested positive for Covid this morning which was about a half hour before the scheduled time. Rocky Mountain showed up for the appointment and my wife told the workers the news that she literally just tested positive for Covid and they left the residence. I called Rocky Mountain Granite to explain the situation and asked to be rescheduled and I couldn't believe it but instead of saying sorry to hear about your wife being sick or I hope everyone feels better and let's reschedule the appointment. The representative says will have to charge you a 100.00 dollars to come out again. I Was like "Are you (Bleeping) serious, what a (bleeping) joke I just spend 13,000 dollars on your countertops and all my wife wanted to do was protect your workers from getting Covid and you want to charge me additional 100.00 dollars." She said "you could of called and that's why we have to charge you additional 100.00 dollars" I'm like "She literally just tested positive" Yeah, this is why I got upset with your representative! I never cursed at your employee just over the circumstances and the situation. I understand your policy but this situation that happened is totally different. I am completely disgusted with this company and the way your representative handled this situation. It should of been handled more like this. "we're truly sorry about your wife we might not be able to come out for a little bit but the next time we're in the area will stop by to fix the issues. We hope your wife feels better and will let you know when we can come out again." It's just that easy, Now you have a customer that will never recommend you to anyone or to any friends. Now for the install issues of my counters. They left all the manufacturing stickers on the underside of the counters so you can only peel them off until the cabinet edge. When it came to sealing the counters they didn't totally seal them especially around the sink which has a 4 inch gap where water can get right over the farm sink and into the inside of the cabinet. Then instead of keeping the silicone on the top of the cabinet, they got silicone all over the upper side of the cabinets. Just a very poor job with the install. I would 100% look for a different countertop company when it comes to doing your counters. If your using a kitchen design company check with them and make sure it's not Rocky Mountain. I just don't want to you to go through the same experience as me and hopefully get a better job with a different company. All the best!
