They also had me inspect post-cleaning before they sealed the ducts and plenums back. Overall process took four hours which was pretty quick and also considering it was super hot in the attic. He mentioned he needed to add 4 pounds of refrigerant to a 14.5-pound system (he had this number in mind from the start, but in real life, you weigh the cylinder and take before-and-after readings to determine the actual amount needed). The pressures low and high were normal and superheat and everything else indicated the system was operating nearly perfectly and probably needed a few oz 2-4 per degree of sub cooling. Essentially, he wanted to overcharge me and he did.
