Pro Attic (Amy ) helped me to get a very competetive quote; (Joe) helped me understand what are some of my issues and their solutions which aligned with my research. Then there was the installation crew who wrestled excellent (Stevan, Rolando, Johnny, William, Jose and Roberto). These guys were friendly, hard working, through - bottom line they did a quality job. At multiple phases of the job they stopped and allowed me to review the job. I am no expert but the guys would take the time to explain things to me. My HVAC Service company I have used for 16 years came to do my twice per year cleaning/tuneup on…read moreboth of my AC systems. They discovered a evaporator coil leak in the upstairs unit. The air handler was 30yrs old, the outside unit 16 years old with the old R410 refrigerant. Sadly their price for a complete replacement was totally out of my price range. I called two other companies and chose Kellys. After studying the new refrigerants R32/R454 and chose a system that uses R32. So Daikin, Amana and Goodman are the brands that use R32. I got a full system replacement professionally installed the next day by Kellys. Things to note, the system connected to the existing plenums, new drain pan with float switch, the line sets were flushed for the new refrigerant. They pulled a vacuum to 500 microns as is a best practice. Cleanup, hauloff of old equipment, warranty registration for the Compressor/Condenser, evaporator coil and heater air handler. Same quality install at a much more reasonable price with a 10 year warranty. So far all is great. I will update this review once we reach Houston summer heat if anything changes.
