I dont know who decides prices but their back issues are all damaged and the are charging $5-$10 or more for their back issues that are bent , torn, ragged, water damaged and not even for key issues, but issues that are worth 50 cents at best. I looked the other day and an issue of X-men 2099 #20 which is worthless and they had a price sticker on it for $7.95. Save yourself the time and skip this crapfest.

When I made my initial purchase on 12/15 I got an email stating the my payment for my order failed and to try with a different payment method. The payment for that order in fact did not fail and I had made 2 purchases. I put in a cancellation request that same night and called on the 16th to ensure itd be rectified. 12/19 I emailed and called again unable to reach customer service. I left a voicemail and got no call back. Also on the 19th, I get 2 notices from my bank that 2 charges from retro vgames posted. Today 12/20 I finally get through to customer service just for them to tell me there's nothing they can do and both purchases have been shipped on the 16th, but I was never notified if my product had shipped. I log in to my account to see that they were shipped the 18th, not the 16th. The order should have never been shipped and the initial payment should have never been taken if they told me payment failed AND the cancellation request was put in prior to the offer being fulfilled. Customer service was very dismissive, had inaccurate information, and told me they couldn't see the cancellation request even though they read off of it.... So far poor experience, but I will update if product is received and will see if the order is accurate, products work/quality, and the return process is not a hassle/no cost to me.

They dont carry what they advertise, they are more of a broker and they find other people who are selling what they advertise, they purchase that one and have it sent to you with out having even seen/tested/or touched the product before it get to you and that is even if its the product you ordered and not some knock off. This Ollie's is located in the Valley Plaza Shopping Center and is hard to access due to the busy traffic of Airport Road. The parking lot is also cramped and busy due to a poorly placed Dukin. The interior of this store has received the latest Ollie's setup, and during that process they seemingly cleaned it up somewhat. Still, this store is almost chronically understocked or sold out of items as it's a very busy store. The biggest problem is with the new Ollie's checkout design, as it's a major problem for this store. It has created a huge fire hazard. With this store's layout, you have to go through the checkout no matter what to leave and with the lines this store often has, there's no clear and easy exit. Great to prevent shoplifting, but not great if you are just browsing or if an emergency would occur. They also keep one of the entrances doors locked, so you can't go back out. With the traffic, stock, and store layout...just go to the Ollie's on Tilghman Street instead. It's a much better store.
