PROS: Amazing place for music. They have records and CDs. The staff is very nice and you cn even mix songs and create your own disc. They are very large, probably the largest local business in the mall, too CONS: The problem is they only specialize in music. That's good if that's all you want, but if you're an FYE fan that wants a variety beyond their music the wouldn't be your place OVERALL: For music lovers I would highly recommend this store

This business definitely has a ton of red flags when dealing with them. I would strongly recommend buying from someplace else

Fun store. Found some good cassettes. Albums, CDs, just fun to browse, left with a bag of goodies for under $20. Nice staff.

Large selection of vinyl but mostly 90s and earlier. Found some gems and everything was decently priced.

Absolutely amazing to meet what I assume is the owner, who shared his incredible knowledge and quite interesting, if horrifying, details of William Burroughs biography. This is to me, the most crucial difference between a corporate chain, where the clerks might be nice and courteous, and a community based shop that knows its patronage, able to share insights with its customers, connecting people to stories and ultimately, creating new stories. What the gentlemen shared with me is sensational and haunting, it was about Burroughs shooting his wife at a party, trying to perform a trick by shooting the apple she placed on her head. He missed the apple. It haunted him and now, me, what a graphic image, what a horrendous and tragic way to part with life. And what a wonderful experience and a great book i purchased, in fact the selection here while small and eclectic, is quite impeccable. I purchased Zadie Smith's new book "the Fraud" and so glad i did, I really want that book in my library. Can't wait to come back to this shop.

Upon entering we were greeted by a nice gentlemen who let us explore the store at our own pace. We were pleasantly surprised by the vast variety of books that were culturally sensitive, with strong Black protagonist. Being a multiracial family, this is very important to us. Take a look at the great selection they had, you won't regret it. They also have story time during the week and weekends. Oh, it's also right next to the Crayola Factory! There's street parking throughout and a few public lots in the surrounding area. Can't wait to come here next time we are in Easton. If this review was helpful, show me some love.

Finally decided to stop here after driving by the sign for "Books" for literally years. The store…read moredoesn't appear to be very large from the outside, but, you may find yourself slightly overwhelmed once you walk in. The books are practically floor to ceiling in some areas with many of the shelves being two stacks deep. Books are organized by genre and first letter of author's last name. Genres range from Mystery and Romance to Classics and End Table books. There is also a room full of children's books and a decent selection for young adults. I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of the store. It is relaxed and fairly quiet. No one comes up to ask what you're looking for (although you can ask for specific titles/authors if you need) or eyes you while you're digging through the stacks trying to find exactly what you want. There are several step stools around to help you reach the highest shelves and be sure to grab a shopping basket at the entrance, as you'll likely need one. Remember, all of these books are used and come in varying conditions. All of the books that I purchased were in good to excellent condition. For the price of $3 per book, you can't beat it. He even accepts trade-ins, which then brings the price down to $2 per book, if I understood correctly. He accepts cash and credit. I have no complaints at all and will definitely be going back to gauge how often the stock changes. Thankful to have a used bookstore nearby. What I spent today on 12 books wouldn't have even gotten me 3 at Barnes & Noble.

It's a lovely little store, with books and book-related merchandise, an owner who is ready to help or to leave you alone, depending on your inclination, and "two friendly dogs" according to the owner, who were snuggled up together in their dog bed when I was there. In addition to a room of books for children and a room of books split between best sellers and young adult books, they have literary T-shirts and canvas bag, some children's merchandise, and some wonderful pins, 'secular saints candles,' and snarky magnet sets from the Unemployed Philosophers Guild ( https://philosophersguild.com/ ). If you are in Frenchtown, don't wait years to check out this store they way I did... stop in the next time you're in town!

Despite the size, (and it is actually quite a bit bigger indoors than it appears), there is a very good and varied selection, and the owners do a great job of dividing up the merchandise based on type and interest. Cookbooks are in the 'kitchen,' and more popular or newer books upfront. There is a great children's room, and other interesting book accoutrements. My husband and I alway like to go visit when we are around, and find the atmosphere, selection, and doggie friends very welcoming!
