When it was brought out it was extremely cold. when I told the younger waitress, she said, she wasn't sure why she offered me a pastry or to remake my food. Inappropriate, I was given a card and told to call tomorrow for a manager. I called the restaurant the next day around 1 PM and spoke to the owner. Before I could even talk, he told me he already heard what happens and offered me a free pastry. I asked if he would be willing to hear my side of the story, as I was explaining to the story, he would continue to interrupt and over-talk me. He told me it's my word versus their word as far as the coworker talking about me in the corner. His only solution was to offer me a free pastry. I told him I didn't want a free pastry that I wanted him to take notes of the food issue and the inappropriate behavior of his staff talking about their patrons in front of them.
